(Is looking for an AMAZING artist and sadly strawberry lube isnt here) lol you wont find many here then....if your looking for someone with actual skill i suggest looking in the art discussion forum and picture post for an artist of your liking. the only people here(with a few exceptions maybe annapuma if i remember correctly) are those without any formal training and those that draw in their spare time if they feel like it and maybe if theyr feelin up to it will do a commission every now and then. course those artists with actual skill(as opposed to those with just talent here) cost alot of gold to commission sometimes ranging from 10k-300k *has never seen a drawing done by strawberry lube, wont judge*

((Roan))
I actually take a lot of offence to that. The artists here, for the most part, are people who need to make money to support themselves at this point in life so cant go to technical college to study formally, have had no proper opportunities in school and have taken the time to learn as much as they can through any means they can. I DONT have natural talent to draw anything really, I just studied lots of manga guides for about two years and still refer to those books now, five years after I put my mind to learning to draw. Thats what I call skill and hard work. The lucky few like Lube and the famous artists who were born with a good apptitude and the oppertunity to develp it through education are the ones I would say are talented. Talent is worth more than skill in art, as is luck. Same with the music industry, and I believe anyone who is willing to put in the time can learn to draw to at least the level I do. I dunno. Maybe Im reading too much into this, but I envy people with talent smile

Like I said at the bottom, maybe I was reading too much into it, but to be frank I do find your way of expressing yourself quite agressive anyway. I dont think you always realise how offensive you CAN sound, cos you are of course aware of how YOU mean it in your head. Its one of the joys of text. I just dont feel anyone should be criticised and your opening line about not finding many amazing artists in the guild wasnt exactly the politest thing anyone has ever said.
