Hahaha, it wasn't a poke at you, Steph. The people who went into drama at my school (save for...one) and stayed in drama were over popular, overrated, and fake. It was like...the club of people who thought they were cool.
*pets* It was a singly school thing, I'm sure.
Yeah for blood and angst, not so much on gore.
In Snow White, the gothic horro, a bit of blod..little gore. Except when the wicked stepmother eats her brothers heart.

Well...if I'm really honest, that was my drama class as well. Those who thought they were all that. I was just all around nice, like I always am...
Ah Grimm's fairy tales...I like the Little Mermaid version where the she caught the prince with another woman and killed herself on the beach, her blood becoming the surf.

Well... it's not the brother's Grimm 'version' it's the origional folk tale version. That's they way it's supposed to have been. The brothers just went form place to place collecting and writing down the stories. Then they were americanized with happy endings and cute little solutions

But even Disney is not for little kids. There are so many sexual references and adult jokes, it's not funny.
Shrek for example...dear God the adult jokes in that. eek

You know what...that's half the fun. Sometimes I go back to older cartoons that I didn't udnerstand as a kid, and can laugh at now because i understand the adult jokes. ^^

Yes I admit, disney movies are evil.
Like Aladdin.
Go to the balcony scene (the first one) and you can hear someone say 'take off your clothes'. No seriously, you can.

You know what the problem is about those little sublminals in disney movies?
Disney finds out. And you get fired. When you're fired for doing something liek that in a movie, it's hard to find work again.
wink haha, I get all the dirt from my animation teachers. They've been around.

And the stuff that flies off in Lion King that tells Rafiki that Simba is alive? It spells Sex! Seriously.
And in Little Mermaid, one of the spires on the castle looks like a p***s...and they just go on and on and on.

Tink about this. Snow white.
White helpless woman, young and pretty...living with seven men, doing thier housework and thier cooking and sleeping in thier beds, also being entertainment for them. Come on now.
