You cant just appear to where Ren is, its impossible, while Ren is under his fathers control he can make it seem he is in one place and could be in a totally different area.

Ami: I knew it!!!! Ren is trying to regain control but his father is resisting.
Ren: -with his fathers voice ekcoing his every word still-
Ren, will not be regaining control for a long while. So for the short period of time you have left you might as well get used to it.
Ami: Well since you are putting it that way, i guess i am going to have to find a way to help Ren regain control, but for now i guess i will try to escape.

-hundreds of clones appear and all begin to run in different directions, while a couple stay back to try and hold back Ren whilke the real Ami takes off into a nearby wooded area-
