I see.
I rarely watch anime.
The most recent one I've seen is the entirety or Gurren Lagann, which I loved to bits.
Would have never watched it, but it was suggested to me by my boyfriend because it's one of his favorite ones.
I'm honestly glad I watched it, because NO STUPID FILLER EPISODES!
It's WONDERFUL.
Plus, it's just a really good anime in general.
Kamina is best character.
Main character I can't remember the name of becomes really good, but he still can't beat Kamina.
sorry if that didn't really make any sense at all. i ended up confusing myself halfway through and didn't feel like deleting the message and starting over short series are notorious for not having filler, which is always a very good thing. i haven't seen gurren lagann myself, though i've heard good things about it. i might watch it eventually. maybe. a couple series that're 11-12 episodes long i'd recommend are The Money of Soul and Possibility Control (AKA [C] Control, also AKA [C]) and Akuma no Riddle/Riddle Story of Devil. the former is an action anime where money is literally power, and has a lot of economic terms for attacks and stuff. horrible description that doesn't do it justice. the latter is a bunch of assassins and serial killers (some trained, some not) trying to kill one person and the one person fending for themselves while also being protected by one trained assassin. also a fairly good series where my description doesn't do it justice XD
It's fine.
Hmm....I might watch those.
I tend to read manga more than I watch anime.
Manga ia way faster than anime, especially if you want to skip to a favorite part.

Manga ia way faster than anime, especially if you want to skip to a favorite part.
good to know [C] doesn't have a manga (sadly), but Akuma no Riddle does. the anime caught up to the manga on like... episode 3 i think it was??? so things deviate, but the anime team worked closely with the creator, with notes on how the rest of the story would go, so events don't differ TOO much

Nikakaeo Sellesion Agreed. I couldn't manage half an avatar with it. I don't know why they don't bring tektek back either. What attacks one the site? Their reasons for getting it shut down ( at least the ones I've heard about) are just petty and hypocritical. If it's a problem with adds for Recolor being on there- well that's s**t cus adds for other sites, including avatar sites, were never a problem before. The only difference is that tekton made Recolor. But that one add only tells people the site exists. Ultimately, if Gaian's are going to leave here, they'll do it with or without that add and a lot of them are going to Recolor because it's good, not because 'it's made by tekton' or it's a 'replacement gaia'. Gaia doesn't have a choice on that matter and it's ridiculous for them to think that Tekton was stealing their users or something. It's also paranoid as hell. If they know that their users are leaving and they have so much reason to worry about a small website like Recolor taking their business, then you'd think that would tell them something important about the way they run this site... Shutting down tektek won't make a difference on that front. All it did was piss people off and make more users leave. On top of that, the argument about the items for gaia being their intellectual property and them protecting the copyright on it all is also just as nonsensical and hypocritical when used as a reason for shutting tektek down. Gaia let tektek function for 10 years, using their item and things. Tekton never stole their designs and claimed them as his own, it's not like he made a gaia clone site and started charging money. The website was clearly stated as a TOOL for Gaia online, and never cost users any money to use. On top of that, Gaia rips off the designs from popular media all the time and they claim rights to designs that obviously weren't theirs to begin with. But because they redraw it in their pixel style and change the names, they get away with it. They shouldn't be one to talk about intellectual property. i'm not even gonna try to use the broken-a** thing for a long while. let 'em fix things that are blatantly obvious and everything else first i thought i remembered there being viruses uploaded to the site or something, thus being attacks made on the site. if it's all those stupid politic reasons then gaia is being ridiculous it's always been fairly obvious that there's all sorts of items not even LOOSELY based on various forms of media, including games and shows and books and whatnot. if they never got permission to use the designs and stuff, then that's just plain stupid. i mean, come on. the Teddy item is OBVIOUSLY Teddy, and the Sailor Moon items are OBVIOUSLY Sailor Moon items. they're not fooling anyone by changing names and slightly changing color schemes Ugh. I think I'll do the same. I just can't see it any other way honestly. i hear you there. i've been able to make some decent ones, but it takes way longer than it should to find things that're the right colors so there's not too many. or eyes. or anything, really. like, there's been times i KNEW what i was looking for, but i didn't know what item it was a pose for. would've taken a couple seconds with tektek, instead of a couple minutes. or ten minutes who knows? they could both be true you have a point, there. and then there's the fact that i'm 90% positive that the company that made the game Dark Souls wouldn't allow for gaia to make an item based off it. and if they did, then they'd want more than just one based off Half-Breed Priscilla. friggin stupid hypocrites and hypocritical politics

And it was a mod....not a staff account.....Princeries, I believe,
ahh, okay. and yep, i remember that. not the details of it, but i remember that it happened mod, staff, same difference. may as well have been a staff account since they probably could've doled out the punishment for breaking ToS. though i'm surprised you remember their username I only remember their name because I thought it sounded silly and I didn't like it.

from what i know, the differences there are between the anime and manga are pretty drastic. though thankfully they aren't too common. i need to get around to reading the manga at some point

Well....if they were working with the creator and not just doing their own thing because nyeh....
It's merely the creator exploring other options that they didn't in the manga.
Which isn't as bad.

I have thousands of items in my invo but honestly it's hard to remember all the poses and stuff that I have available and what items they belong to sometimes. So even in my own inventory there's this limited feeling. Indeed. :/ Either way it's not lookin good for Gaia honestly, people are upset. And their solution/replacement feature sucks. XP Exactly that! Point well made. There's so many items like that. For example, ones that I'm 100% sure are based off of Bravely Default characters. The item series that's titled with Edebel is a blatant rip off of costume aspects from Edea and Ringabel who are main characters from the game. The name of the items __ EDEBEL even combines the names Edea and Ringa bel. But even the MP tags say nothing about Bravely Default, so the likelihood they got permission is slim.
