....that wasn't in reference to you.
I took your reply as a no.
Personally, I don't figure my being all "WHO DID THEES?!" is reason enough.

I just want to know who in general, not a definitive yes or no from you.
But thanks to whatever you understood from my thing...
NOW I'M NOT SO SURE THAT WAS A NO ANYMORE.

Oh well.
I'll just stick with the 'it's a no' thing.
Seems much more likely.
Plus, it didn't really fit how you'd do things anyway.
Not enough 'poking the bear' involved.

ahh, okay. i hadn't been sure what you thought from how you worded it. thanks for clarifying, though. and i can't blame you for wanting to know

'poking the bear'?????

I only know of one mate.
Anything else that's spelled the same isn't a plant.

It still doesn't fully cross over though.
It's fairly easy to tone one way when you're really another direction entirely.
Plus, if you've done acting, it's even easier....especially when you pay close attention to word meanings and the like.

......minus the whole super weird sounding swaying back and forth and gushing thing...
That's exactly what I do.
No actually angry tone...more like a....hm....
'you did/said something I like, it made me blush, so I'm saying this instead but I still sound a bit pleased and not actually upset in the slightest'
And sometimes with minor flailing at the person.
.......picturing this 'chopper' person's antics is actually a bit painful...
Never liked the sway-y gushing characters all that much....
*small shudder*

alright, got it. it's an odd-sounding thing, either way

these are things known, which is why i noted it was a base for learning. once you learn what kinds of things you should look for, you can find more things to look for or how to spot the things when they're barely there.... still working on both of those. but the acting bit is absolutely true

i see, i see. never knew that bit. sounds like an interesting thing to be able to witness
in his defense, he's like 7 or 8 years old. and a reindeer. and like two or three feet tall

My conversations with people died out somewhere in here and I can't find em. XD
I don't even know if it was my fault or someone else's. XD

with how forum-based conversations work, it could be the fault of both parties. or the fault of gaia hiding the notification that you got a reply. or who knows what else

That's true. There have been times where I come in here and see I got a reply so I'd respond, without ever getting a notice.. Geeze gaia is so flawed these days.
Did ya see the new 'avatar builder'? Cus I was trying to use it when they took it down. Quite frankly it sucks so far.

at least it doesn't eat messages when it gets hungry like tumblr does

there's no set of your items that you own. which is stupid. even if you choose to search your inventory it says "NO ITEMS FOUND" unless you give it a search term. the MARKETPLACE doesn't require a search term, why should the avatar builder?

yeah I noticed that. Also, certain items that I know exist, especially ones I know because I own them, I couldn't find. Like white body dye. That item is practically infamous and I couldn't find it in there at all.

it's a good thing it's just Beta 1.0 right now. though since they pushed it then pulled it to fix some bugs it should be at least 1.01 now

Yeah I don't know about that.. but they sure are lucky it's only beta.
Cus it's really broken. Is it usual for even beta's to be this broken?
Look at the bug report thread for the Avatar Builder, the number of various issues is ridiculous. ><"

from what i know, there's usually semi-extensive testing on things before the beta gets released. so no, it's probably not normal for a beta to be as broken as this
wow. how did they make it so broken. i can see why they had to disable it temporarily to fix the thing, but there's still so many ridiculous issues with it that would've been found in seconds if it was tested at all

Yeah that's my thought. Usually betas are at least semi functional, but this looks like no one has had a clean and successful experience with this.

there's just way too many problems with it. though the thing that really gets me is why they don't just find a way to revive tektek, since that worked exceptionally well. there were attacks on the site it was hosted on that got it shut down in the end iirc, but if they were to implement it into their own site as opposed to a third party site, they likely wouldn't have that issue

Mate is Yerba Mate...some kind of plant.
And that's all I know.

I notice lots of talk about tea. o3o
If I remember properly- Mate is from some type of holly plant or something similar.
And then there's Matcha- which is fantastically flavorful and awesome green tea powder that uses the entire tea leaf.

My personal favorite is a variety of 'black' tea called Puerh.
It's a chinese aged tea that's very dark but kinda earthy and very smooth.
I buy Chocolate Puerh from a local tea shop here and it's just... omg.

It's because I work at Teavana.
And I'm not a fan of matcha, because it's extremely bitter to me...
Oh, heads up, matcha is super expensive because of the sudden extra demand.

I really only like two teas: Silver Needle, a white tea, and a mate tea made to remind people of coffee.
Best part is it's not super bitter like most coffees are.

Oh, supposedly, Pu-erh suppresses appetite?
My super arrogant assistant general manager says it does....
But then again, he says he's amazing at everything and he loves everything (sometimes only so he can make a sale).
(by the way, he's not amazing at....quite a few things. About the only thing he's amazing at is being arrogant, entitled, and sounding like a rich jerk)
((and he's 23.....yet I'm somehow significantly more mature than he is in very important personality ways...and probably just in general))

OH.
And do I have things to tell you.

'poking the bear' means taunting the person....with a bit of a risk that they'll 'bite' you.
Usually for keeping whatever out of reach or continuing to talk about something they don't like...etcetc.

Yup.

.....perhaps.
And I know the acting thing....because I did acting.
Not too sure how good or bad I am at it, but sure seems like I'm fairly good at it...
At least if I'm dealing with the 'average IQ' population...

..................................
You DID witness it.
Or, well, something fairly similar.
On TC.
A long time ago when Kairi and others would tease me...
And that makes it even worse; he's 7-8 and a small reindeer?!
Geh, I never want to see what that looks like.

ahh, okay. well, it's been at least a year since i spoke with anyone here last, so as far as you know i could be completely different about how i go about things. i find vague responses and misdirection to be quite effective at hiding things, or to make it seem like i'm hiding something when there's nothing to hide. and i don't do the continued talking about things people don't like anymore. very much
