Nikakaeo Amu Tsukiyomi-sama No kidding.
Don't, it's rather expensive. And by "rather expensive", I mean that it's (for the worst quality out of what we have) 4.98 per 2oz to (tea only picked every few DECADES) 29.98 per 2oz, depending on the tea you want. And if the people there aren't like me and a couple other people I work with, they'll try to make you buy extra things and talk up the expensive things. And they might be nice about it...but likely they'll be fairly pushy...dunno how other areas are run, though. Only thing they talk up you really oughta buy if you don't have much to spend, or you don't want to spend a ton, is a tea tin. Because it helps prevent wasted money. Past that....If you like english breakfast (for example), get english breakfast even if they try to sell you Golden Monkey. EB = 6-ish dollars/2oz GM = 18.98 dollars/2oz
I'm not annoyed. I'm confused and don't exactly understand (mainly because I'm trying to not 'get ahead of myself' and screw things up). There's a difference. And thank you.
Using bigger words when a simpler set will do. You finding using those words aside....example time! Instead of saying "The ground is very wet", which most people would do because it's simple and to the point, AS people are known for speaking pedantically, rather than pragmatically. ie, "The soil absorbed a lot of water".
if food stamps are accepted at teavana, then it'd be a bit less of a problem. i spend about $30 or so a month on beverages, so that'd just be a few less sodas. if they don't though, then there'd definitely be a money problem. most of the money i obtain goes towards saving for games and stuff, and since the job market is s**t and i don't meet any minimum qualifications (read; prior experience and/or a college degree for a starting-level job) for most jobs, actual money is low in supply. i'll definitely take those bits of advice, though ahhh, okay. got it. thanks for that clarification 'the soil absorbed a lot of water' wouldn't be fun to say, though. most of the time when i do the thing it's because it's more fun to use the longer version. which probably doesn't change the fact that like seven years ago now i think??? it was determined (without professional diagnosis so it could be highly inaccurate) that i had aspergers. never knew that was an aspergers-y thing As far as I am aware of, teavana doesn't. Then again, I've never heard of anyone going into a mall-food store and trying to use food stamps. ...and I work in a store in a mall with stores like Saks and Neiman marcus... (super expensive retailers)
Yupyup.
....I said the fun part aside.... And I know. You told me that a long time ago. Which is exactly why I said the thing about it being 'very asperger-y'. 3nodding It's more the using longer words not because they're fun (though that might also be a thing) but the common belief is that the longer/bigger words are just the ones they go to to use. Then again, I've mostly stopped doing that when talking to 'normal' people as best I can, since they're not likely able to understand them... But with smarter-than-I people (there's really only one of those I've met and realized they were smarter than me so far)....or smart people, I can use them more easily. And even then I might not use them.

Amu Tsukiyomi-sama frozen_flames06 Amu Tsukiyomi-sama frozen_flames06 Amu Tsukiyomi-sama Much better today than it has been in a while. This week, I quit one of my jobs because it was causing me fairly big issues. Today I got to see my bf and meet ALL of his family. (Only met his dad before today....and that was only once) A few other really good things happened this week too... Mainly involving my bf being a horrible, terrible meanie (that's the tsundere part of me talking, fyi)
What about you?
Okay, been babysitting dogs and getting ready for my larp experience at the end of the month. What kind of dogs?
And that sounds like fun! Will you be melee or ranged?
Samoyeds, imagine white fluffy dogs that are meduim size....and I'm going as a npc, so I don't know what they are going to have me doing. Oooo. Fluffy dogs! Means awesome cuddles! 4laugh Whose dogs are they?
....there are NPCs in LARPing? The only LARPPing I ever saw was the "go!....*people flail about with foam weaponry like it's a 6-yr-old soccer game*..............stop!" kind... Which is the extra lame looking kind. Fighting with foam weaponry, that's cool. Flailing around like you're 6 with foam weaponry....not cool.
mine and my mom's, lots of fluffy cuddles and hugs. in this one there is, and.. heheheh that must have been a sight.

Nikakaeo Amu Tsukiyomi-sama Someone keeps gifting me things! Expensive things! AND I CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY/WHERE. I've only been in here recently....and the rarely remembered quest thread I have doesn't get any traffic that I know of...
I've gotten the red miku hatsune item, Forlorn Opera, Demon Vassal....I think a couple others.... I want to be able to smack them in thanks with a couple bits of being flaily from 'why you be so nice' and stuff.
huh. wonder who's doing that, then, and why? like you said, those things are fairly expensive. even in this broken-a** economy. you haven't been posting at all in any anon threads, right? Not any time within the last....two-three weeks. Likely more like a couple months.
I mean, they're ALL from stuff in my quest thread....but no one's posted in there and it has to be way far down the page on the forum it's in... It's so frustrating that I can't thank them!

It was. Especially since it was overcast, had rained/snowed fairly recently, and it was freezing and a bit windy. Oh, and it was on the tiny 'quad' at my college.

i know you can get cold drinks at starbucks (in grocery stores, at least) like frapuccinos and whatnot with them, and starbucks sells teavana tea now, so it's a possibility. maybe not the one at the mall, though. either way, what's one you'd recommend? whoops. missed that part. and i couldn't remember if i'd said that in the past or not, so double whoops. i'll keep that information in mind, though it's unlikely i'll stop using the longer forms of words at times. i mean really, who wouldn't say something along the lines of 'thine significant other' instead of 'your boyfriend' or 'your girlfriend' at times? it's way more fun

according to your post history, the last post you made was during the easter event. so with that in mind, unless they somehow went five hundred miles down the forums, they're probably in a guild you're in. because apparently posts in guilds don't show up in your post history. makes no sense to me.

Well.....all drinks at teavana are now 4.99.... So you know. And for a drink and not to buy and take home...if you like plain tea, silver needle is delicious. For Green, do Gyokuro as it's the absolute best green tea you can get. Black....that depends on your taste....they'll say golden monkey, but do what you like. Oolong....I've not really had any, but the one bit of Monkey picked I had with sugar wasn't....awful, but it's not really my kind of tea. For the others....go with the kinds of fruit you like.
I wouldn't. Because unless I'm speaking in shakespearean... It sounds ridiculous. Significant other....sure... Partner, sure... But those also convey something about not wanting to offend... Which is why I tend to stick with whatever the other person uses.

alright, thanks for the information. i'll definitely keep it all in mind if/when i ever get tea there. i've never had oolong tea or green tea before, so i'll remember those if i feel adventurous and in a tea mood eh, point taken about it sounding ridiculous. though that's part of what makes it fun to me; given the choice of being ridiculous or being bland? i'll be ridiculous. and i never really thought about it sounding like not trying to offend through use of those words
