I'd be on more, except my laptop is still screwed up... I just burned a copy of XP, but due to my mother stressing the hell out of me, school, finals, and stupidhead, I'm going through a psoriasis epidemic.. it's attacking my entire body... no fun... I feel like one gigantic diseased itch... It really sucks to have something that you couldn't have prevented.... especially since I don't get the joy of spreading the love.... yes, I'm mean that way... If I was born with it, I should at least get some fun out it.... I've got a revenge list...

Anyway, on another note... how long can hamsters live without water??? I filled up her bottle a few weeks ago... and checked it today, only to realize the ball was stuck... it wasn't like that when I filled it up, but when she noticed it worked again, she drank for about 10 minutes. She's only been acting weird (more active during the day) for the past 2 days... so I don't think it's been horribly long... I still feel bad though....

How is everyone?

I've got finals coming up too...and a paper on cryptography due next week...yippee freakin skippee. Sorry to hear you're so stressed...at least we have this thread to vent our frustrations. So, what's up with the computer? The virus totally effed it up, huh? Do you have a recovery partition, or did it get that too? I don't know anything about hamsters...I had one about ten years ago and somehow it died. I have a knack for keeping a fish alive well beyond its life expectancy though.

*sigh* my computer got pretty bad... the recovery partition is screwed... takes me to the Blue Screen of Doom... and out of the blue, the desktop ******** up.... I had boyfriend fix that yesterday... but told him to stay away from my laptop since I'm determined to fix it.

My poor hamster is probably happier now that she can get to her water... although boyfriend and I have a horrible time with fish... I think the chiclids keep killing each other off... we're down to the red devil (which is oddly yellow... but is a trip... plays in the rocks... sucks them up, and spits them out)... and I think now that I've convinced boyfriend to leave the tank alone, that there's no reason to add water clearing chemicals and to clean it everyday, the fish live longer... now that there's only the one chiclid, we seem to be doing fine with them.

School sucks... but I think 95% of my stress is coming from my mother... and at the same time I blame stupidhead for going out of town every weekend for the past month... I've not been able to get away... and now I'm all broken out... Tonight he's in Dallas... watching a Spurs game...........................

I want to take a whack at the laptop, but the whole psoriasis thing is holding me back.... can't seem to concentrate on anything with the horrible itching... pain I can do.... itching is another story...

Been a long weekend. Lots of snow. Hubby took me to work and brought me home and *sigh* he will be in and out all day.

Very tired.

What is wrong with your sewing machine. Mine is going on 20 years old now and works well. I just keep it clean.

Don't know if I can help, but I'll check back later to see if you listed any of its troubles.

I want to finish my granddaughters quilt. I need to get in the mood.

Anime, I wish I could help, all I know is that a girl I worked with had it, and she said the only relief she ever found was hitting the tanning bed. Sounds like a bad trade-off to me, I'd rather itch than need chemo for skin cancer like Chuck's sister found out this afternoon. Good luck, hun.

Actually, that makes sense since one of the types of treatments for psoriasis is phototherapy where they expose your skin to a controlled amount of UV light, so I bet it's the UV lighting from the bed, not the actual tanning that helps.... and I'm sure the phototherapy is less damaging to your skin since it's controlled verses a tanning bed... but I have no interest in either so I just kinda suffer through it... it wouldn't be so bad if I could get some sleep... and I feel like I'm 3 years old because all I can do is pout about it...

Today it's 80 degrees and humid as s**t... and *I* had to wear long sleeves that even cover my hands when I left the house... I feel so diseased.

Hey, I'm home now. And alone. blaugh But not for long. Daughter picked me up, took me to work, then we went shopping for groceries and I about fell over at the prices in the grocery store. Normally Safeway is good, but not anymore. Ended up going to Albertson's down Highway 115 to see how their prices were and they were much better. Rant, rant, rant, I could about all the prices. No wonder people are out stealing from other people this time of year.

I was just waiting for someone to come up to me and ask me for money or try and hit me over the head and steal my purse. I'd have sent them flying to land on the bell ringers at the front of the store. The crime here is getting really bad, but it always is before Christmas.

So, I did manage to get some food for us for another week. Plus food for the daughter's house and food for my son's house. This is really starting to get difficult with supporting 3 households.

Done.

Next.

Sewing machine. If the bobbin is bunching at the bottom all it should (and I say should) mean is that your tension is not set correctly or you need to brush (blow) out any of the thread and material dust that collects down in the bobbin area. Clean it out the best you can. Then adjust your tension and or stitch lengths till it starts to get better. If it gets worse, you know you are going the wrong way. If it starts to get better, then keep adjusting the knob the way it is working. I have to say that FIRST, you should write down exactly where your controls are positioned BEFORE you start adjusting anything. In case it seems you've made it worse and you can't remember where it was when it was working.

If you clean the bobbin area first, then retry it, you may find that fixes it. Do the knob/control adjusting after you have cleaned it.

If that doesn't help, I am of no help to you. It's all I know to do. Mine does this same very thing after a lot of sewing and I have to clean it out.

Anyway, going to post this before I lose this. Lost it once already. I hate my laptop.

Hi everyone!!!!!!

If I tell my husband I'm itchy, he says .... What did you say, you said you were bitchy? Boy, that really helps matters. I yelled at him yesterday. 2 days of being in the house drove me up the wall and that was after 2 days of the weekend. It helped him to be nicer until this morning.

I finally was able to look at your mom's album. I love them. I really want to do something like the Garden Maze. I did the Grandmother's Flower Garden that is supposed to be quilted in crochet many years ago as a King Size Comforter.

Plus, many, many quilts that all were stolen about 10 years ago. It broke my heart. I had trunks of material and quilts....... crying I haven't gotten over it to this day. My most prized was my Christmas house quilt. Each square section was a decorated Christmas house, with snowmen, various different things, all the trimmings and the windows and doors were different, along with the landscapes, the sky, the snow on the roof, the moons, all different materials. I do have a picture of it though somewhere.

I love quilting and crocheting. First thing I learned was knitting when I was 10.
