I'll be sure to let you know once I buy Dark Souls again.

Right now, I'm completing my upteenth playthrough of the Mass Effect games and burning through Borderlands's latest DLC.

So how is everyone this holiday season?
PostPosted: Thu Jan 17, 2013 12:37 am

ninja Holiday season was pretty neato. But this season is even better since... I HAVE INTERNET!!

Judging by the fact that no one has posted in over a month, the guild must be pretty dead. We've recovered from something like this before, and I hope we can do so again. That said, I'll be around and willing to roleplay with anyone who shows up. I can be online around this time every day

Nice. Glad to hear our guild's newlywed is doing well!

And it's is also nice to hear that the guild has recovered from worse. l will suggest a duo rp for us, if you would be interested. l don't even have to use Coraline!

Sounds good to me! You can choose one of my characters and something to do and I'll go along with it, or we can work something out together. It doesn't matter to me; I just want to get back into the game.

Hmm... Well, a character like that would probably like Mora, being an upstanding citizen and healer of the realm.
Or, if you want to take a different route, I can use Bareok, who would probably not get along at all with an up-tight Paladin. He is, however, in the fighter's guild and might have a better in-world connection to her.
Whichever character works better for you. I don't have a preference.

Thalia, the paladin, is like Mora. Upstanding, law abiding, a goody goody and knows all too well the evils of man and does her best to put a stamp on that. She is part of the Fighter's Guild and volunteers at the Arena to heal the fighters. So whichever you would prefer. Either whacky shenanigans or straight forward quest.

Honestly, I'm quite fond of shenanigans, as long as there's a semblance of structure to it. I don't know whether or not you liked the evil wizard from "The Goblin King." If you did, Mora has a bit of a personal vendetta with him, and she could use some no-nonsense help to him track down.
Alternatively, Thalia and Bareok can take up a commission posted for the fighter's guild. Any regular assignment turns into wacky doings when Bareok is involved. That extra element of party tension might make things interesting. Or absolutely terrible. It really depends on how hard Thalia is willing to put the smack-down on him.

Thalia has no qualms on putting the smack down! Smack down is actually her middle name! And funny times does sound like a lot of fun unless you want to go after that wizard. If you do, Coraline does have a vendetta against him as well though due to her most recent quest has been hesitant on doing any quests, if you read like the last post (though it is like a short story) you'll understand why.
