Zy had Shaon and Janan as his eyes followed Zander into the darkness. There was a short moment of silence before he started heading down the damaged halls.

Zy finally found an exit at the end of the hall. He looked back to see if any one was behind him. He wanted some one be hind him, Rebecca, Zander, one of the maids; He didn't care; he just wanted to know that someone was okay. After a few minutes of soft screams Zy turned to the door and headed out the side of the castle.

Rebecca made it to her lab. She was bleeding on her left arm and was feeling the enemy’s venom running through her veins. She had to get Janans and Zanders blood work. She stumbled over the desk and grabbed her files.

I don't know. He spoke softly in his deep voice, full of sorrow. He wanted to be strong in front of Shaon, but he could not hide his emotions. In one brief night, they had lost the war before it had even begun. All Zy cared about now was getting his wife and child to safety

Zy continued into the thick woods. stopping at a cliff nearby. the trees were an angle to wear if some one was following them Zy could see them long before they see him.

Rebeca stumbled out of her lab, most of the noise died down. which was not a good thing. her vision was going and she didn't know where the exit was. Rebeca fell to the floor.

Zy kissed Shaon on the forehead and began to hum her tune as the bright moon rested above them.

Rebeca awoke in a servants room. She look around, her vision was not back but she could clearly see the out line of several people. she was forced to close her eyes from the pounding headache. she could tell from her wounds that she had only been out for a couple of hours. a few maids rushed to her side and tended to her wounds. there were prisoners of war, guarded by the enemy's pets. A hand full of maids survived the attack, only to be kept as slaves for the men under Bruces command.

Bruce hated Zuriel ever since Darkness had turned him. Zy had been more important to him then his own son. but finally, Zuriels true colors show. it should have been Bruce to take over after Calvins death, but instead the elders allowed Zy to do as he wished. And now look at what happened. Bruce is stuck cleaning up after his fathers mistake and the elders mess.

Bruce sent the wolves out looking for the Zy and his family. He was too tired after the battle with the strange werewolf and he was more interested in the news of Rebeca being one of his prisoners, one of his slaves. but first he needed his sleep, he wants to be well rested when he has his way with Rebeca.

Zy couldn't sleep, he was startled with every sound in the night. He figured Bruce would sent out his "pets" to find them. Those animals would have better luck smelling the blood trail. he watched Shaon and Janan as they slept, he didn't want to wake them but he knew it wouldn't be long until they would have to move on.
