Mission: Get the Tomes of Power!

Mission Specs:
Sinji has enlisted the aid of SS in finding some powerful tomes in a cave in Johto. They are to travel to the cave and find the tomes, then escape while eluding any and all pursuit. Force may be required, so he said.

Sinji poured over his books within the confines of his room. He looked for anything that would help him do what his boss had asked for. After what seemed like ages, Sinji stumbled across a book of old pokemon lure. He quickly began to look through this ancient book in hopes that he would uncover some hint on what needed to be done. Thankfully, it didn't take Sinji very long and he soon discovered a chapter on transfering magical properties from one object to another. He got a little angry when he read on and found out that the book didn't actually tell you how to transfer the magics, but told of a tome that did as well as a sister tome that discussed what item would be required for this transfer. Sinji quickly pulled out his laptop and began to search on the net for any hints on the location of any of the tomes. Sinji smiled as the first hit he got talked about one of the tomes right in the description. He immediately clicked on it and it brought him to a sight about the unown cave in Johto. Apparently, while digging within the ruins a scientist had discovered the tome and placed it in a display case in the room he had found it in. Sinji stood up from his desk with and prepared for his journey to Johto. As Sinji opened the door to his room he couldn't help, but notice his brother SS coming out of his room as well. Sinji only shrugged as he decided then and there that it might be more interesting if he brought his half brother along for the ride.

"I still can't believe you got me into this." SS walked behind Sinji, Cyndaquil perched on his shoulder. "This is nuts." Sinji only turned and glared at his half brother saying, "Shut up, idiot. And who the hell carries their Pokemon on their shoulder? Ash Ketchum?" Sinji barely held back a laugh as he said the rest making sure his brother did not notice it. SS held up his hand. "BL." He ticked off a finger. "Sojiro." Another. "Suiken." A third. "Myself." Four. "Jason." Five. Siniji's eye began to twitch in anger as he said, "THEY DO NOT!" SS only crossed his arms in reply and said, "Well, I do, and I don't care what you say. Can we just get this over with? IGPX is on soon." Sinji only shook his head in anger as he said, "That show SUCKS!" Sinji hated that show liking the micro series far better. "To you, maybe." SS only replied uncrossing his arms and saying also, "We there yet?" "No." Sinji said with just a little anger at his brother's poor choice in tv shows as he turned back to the path. "We'll be there soon." Sinji said as he flexed his wings and said also, "If someone doesn't keep talking and distracting me." Sinji then began walking again all the while playing with his thumbs though SS couldn't see. "Whatever," SS said though Sinji could tell he was holding back a comment. SS then simply kept following him as Sinji walked ahead. Sinji was glad to see his little bro after so long of having to plot his destruction. Not only did it give him some free time since he didn't have to have as many brainstorm sessions, but now he can devote time to humiliating his brother. Sinji couldn't help, but feel a little bad however, at the fact that he hadn't really told SS anything about the mission they were about to do. Sinji only reassured himself though that the less his brother knew the less danger he was in the event of them getting captured by an enemy team. Sinji just kept moving forward keeping his eyes on their goal while SS noticeably goofed off, admiring the foliage. Sinji immediatly spotted the encampment a little ways down the cliff they were on and put out his arm, knowing his lackadaisical brother would not be paying attention. Soon enough Sinji was saying, "Hold up," as SS ran into his arm. Sinji then crouched low to the ground and said, "There are people down there." Sinji pointed to (though his brother wasn't paying attention to him) the parked trailer near the cave. Yellow light spilled out of teh windows, and a small whirring sound eminated from the generator it was plugged into behind it. "So, I guess we take them out?" SS said as Sinji heard him pop his sword loose. Sinji couldn't help a smile as he said, "Bro, I like the way you think." Sinji though immediatly wiped away his smile going back to business now and finished by saying, "But we do this my way right now." Sinji then pulled out his pack and took out several smoke grenades. "Ah. Let's go, then." SS said as he took two grenades for himself, and the two were off like large bats through the night. Why father did you have me look out for this kid.....he is so childish, so troublesome. Sinji thought to himself as he lead the way. Though on the bright side it will be more fun this way.
The two half-brothers landed on opposite sides of the doors. On Sinji's signal, SS opened the door a crack and the two tossed their grenades in. "What the heck?" An unfamiliar voice raised the query.
"I don't ~ GACK!!" The second voice gave way to coughing as the smoke filled the air. "Go!" Sinji was through the door as he exclaimed his order. SS followed him into the smoke. Sinji immediately picked up on the two scientist's neutral auras, and went for the scientist on the left. A quick sleeper hold around the head of the man took him down. SS was done at the same time. "We should look around." SS said, sheathing his sword. "Yeah. Look for any documents marked 'Classified' or on the topic of 'The Tome of Power'." Sinji suited action to words and began going through the filing cabinets on his side. "Roger." SS said as he walked over to the desk and began to search. A few minutes yielded nothing whatsoever... save an odd safe. "Wanna bet it's in there?" SS motioned at the safe, now out in the open floor. "No bet." Sinji stared at it. "But how to get at the documents... I got it. Stand back." Sinji went into his pack. Sinji noted that SS stepped outside, giving him room. When Sinji noted that his brother had left the room completely he quickly took out what seemed like a small black bug. Sinji then placed the bug on the dail on the safe and stepped back. The bug began to spin very slowly at first, but then gaining momentum. When it had completed the tenth spin the bug began to glow and then made a small popping sound. Sinji smiled as he noticed that the dial had been blown clear off. Sinji then oppened the safe grabbed the documents and made his way out to see his brother. "Follow me." Sinji strode off towards the cave. SS followed right behind him. The two entered the cave. A faint glow lit the strange glyphs on the walls, showing the indifferent faces of the Unown. SS looked around, then did something that lit up his sword. Holding it up, he shed some greenish light on the scene. "Up ahead. We gotta take them out, too." Sinji indicated another glow around a bend."I don't think smoke bombs will work this time, either." SS pulled a Pokeball. "Shall we?" Sinji smiled. "Let's." The two strode around the bend. Sinji was happy that his brother had motioned for the pokebattle Sinji was beginning to think that this mission was all too easy. The two archaeologists were too absorbed in their work to notice SS and Sinji walking up behind them, but the sound of Sinji kicking out an unimportant part of the ruins (it was actually the molding, which the ancient architects spent much time and effort on) got their attention. The two scientists immediatly turned to see what had happened to their precious work and immediatly turned a curious eye to the two brothers. The brothers didn't allow them to ask any questions though and took out two of thier pokeballs each indicating a battle was to ensue. Sinji sadly didn't get a chance to watch his brother battle because he had to pay attention to his own. Though he would have like seeing how his brother would fare so he could compare it to his skill. The scientist quickly pulled out of his pocket two pokeballs with one still on his belt. The scientist then threw the pokeballs calling out a lairon and a baltoy.

Me: I don’t think so there is only one thing you should be promising how you are going to loose.

Me: There is only one person who is going to be destroyed and that’s you!

Sinji smiled as scientist froze in shock of his defeat. Luckily, the time that he was frozen was long enough for SS to get behind him and knock it out with the hilt of his sword. SS smiled at his brother as he said, “Looks like I finished first. Sinji only shrugged as he picked up a lamp by one of the moldings and motioned for his brother to follow him. They began to make their way down the dark tunnel and Sinji was fascinated by all the glyphs that surrounded him. He was in a historian’s dreamland, though he highly doubted SS was paying much attention to them. After only a small walk, they reached the end of the tunnel, which was a big cavern room. Sinji looked around in pure joy of all the pictures of the unown. In the middle of the cavern was the glass container holding the tome they had been looking for. Sinji immediately looked to SS who only smiled step forward drew his sword and in a few swipes a perfect cube was cut with the glassing falling out as soon as he sheathed his sword. Sinji nodded to his brother, stepped forward taking the tome out of the container, and quickly started to go through it. After a few moments of going through the tome, he thought he came upon something interesting. Without saying a word to his brother, he walked over to the walls and began reading the glyphs and pictures on there. His brother only stood behind him mumbling something Sinji did not hear because he wasn’t paying him attention. After making his way down the wall for a bit, he found what he had been looking for. Sinji touched the glyph that he had been looking for and the ground panel below the glass case began to move making it fall and crash. Sinji looked to the staircase leading down and could see his brother’s confused and shocked face. Sinji only gave a nod to him and said, “Looks like we are going down bro.” SS only shrugged as he said, “Whatever let’s just get this over with I am tired.” Sinji only grew a little angry at his brother’s impatience but disregarded it as he made his way down only whispering to himself, “baka…” After what seemed like hours of walking and his brother complaining they finally reached the end of the cavern. The final room was glittered with some type of shiny gem. Sinji looked around in awe of the beauty, but quickly shifted his eyes as he saw the last tome they would need for the spell….the actual spell book. Sinji walked up barely noticing the exclamation of happiness by his brother about the mission almost being over. Sinji took the tome off the pedestal and looked around to see if any ancient traps would go off. When he was satisfied that none would go off Sinji turned around and began to leave. It was not until him and his brother neared the stairs up did the room begin to shake violently. When Sinji looked, up to the stairs, all the unlit torches that had lined the walls magically had flames combust from them and all the walls began to move. The walls during their movement shifted in such a way that tiny holes appeared. From these holes came at least ten unown pokemon. Though Sinji had read about them constantly, he had never seen one in real life. Sinji was amazed though that euphoria only lasted a second as he realized he had to get out of here. Sinji turned to his brother who was only looking back and smiling. “You take the five on the right and I will take the five on the left brother,” Sinji said while pointing out which ones were his. SS’s smile only grew as he said, “Good, and I thought this mission was going to be boring.” With that, his brother was off in an immediate battle with his enemies. Sinji didn’t have time though to admire his brother’s love for a good fight because within moments his unown where on top of him.

Sinji brushed the sweat off his brow as he looked up and was relieved that no more unown were coming out to attack him. Sinji smiled and gave a thumbs up to his brother who had just finished fighting off his pokemon too. SS wasn’t looking at him though, but behind them at the walls in the room they were just in. As Sinji looked back he noticed at least a hundred or so unown making their way towards them. Sinji and SS both looked at each other and said, “RUN!” They then both took off like a bat out of hell. They ran right up the stairs and through the secret entrance. They hardly noticed as they ran passed the scientists that the secret passage had closed behind them. As soon as both reached the entrance to the cave, they took off in a flurry of wings and flight. Sinji only looked back to his brother flying close to him as he held the tomes close to his chest. He sighed as he realized that as soon as he got back to HQ they would be off again going to get whatever they would need for the spell described in the tome. He didn’t talk to his brother for the rest of the flight in fear that they might find something disturbing in the book or he would ask questions that Sinji couldn’t answer at the time.

Sinji wakes up from his very relaxing sleep and immediately notices the distinct smell of crumpets. He floats on his wings out the door and to the kitchen. All the while drooling over the smell of teh crumpets.

Sinji dived on the easy target crumpets consuming them in a mess of crumpets and jelly. When it was over Sinji didn't remember a thing only that he was really full.

*steps out of room* Ah, what a refreshing dip... *shakes head and water flies out* Hail, Team Aqua! What's happening?

Me: Shellder come on out

*Gets water stone out of bag*

Me: Your gonna be a cloyster Ok ?

shellder: shellllder !

*places water stone on shellder, and it begins to glow, and transphorm shape*

Cloyster: Cloy...ster !!!!

Me: yay !!!, Now come on out Carvanha

*chucks carvanha's pokeball out*

Carvanha: Car..vanha

*Carvanha begins to glow*

Me: surprised biggrin yay, anouther evolution

*carvanha starts Transphorming shape*
