He got a hold of hismelf, oushed some of those things down, and stood. Moonstone smirked all smug like. "Oh yeah, it's great in the begining. But guess what Onyx? You won't have any of those good feelings when you go hunting. It'll become a uselss endevor. You won't feel a damn thing when you sink your claws and teeth into your prey." He smiled, clicked his claws together. "Now that notihng you do brings you joy, what's the point at doing anytihng at all?"

Kat was trying to get on her father's neveres, "Yeah? well horses are stuck up anyways." She kicked at the dirt on the road. She could be out with her friends or down at her favourite spot by the pond. This was so boring.
Eliot's ears wilted a little, "So i can't help you feel it then? It really does feel good when I change, There is this odd shifting feeling that tickles all over your body. Really is an amazing experience..." She sat back on her heals thinking. "is there anything I can do to repay the gesture? I'm not so powerful so I guess that I can't show you anything new." She wilted again, She wanted to do something nice for Roarke.

"That and you hate everyone that isn't Piper."
"Then again, you cannot see what is not in front of you, which means you cannot see what you cannot see..."
"Twisted?" Tarathiel paused. "I guess I need to re-evaluate my sense of love..."
"Is love not that feeling your sibling has when she rapes you?"

It was a horrible feeling, yet a relieving feeling at the same time...to just cry it all out. To cry because she trusted Kaden and he betrayed her, because of the things she said to Malik, because of the trouble she caused, because of what she put her fiance' and father through. Piper just cried on Meilikki's shoulder letting go of a lot really. Malik may or may not of known of her crying...but at least he didn't get to see it...didn't get to see her looking like this, breaking down with nothing more to do than cry. How long did she cry? She didn't know...but slowly those tears decreased in number, giving away to only shuddering breaths, the occasional sob.

Aella dropped her staff, it clattered to the ground and she left it there. She hung her head, she couldn't rest her eyes on any one spot, she suddenly felt very trapped.
"That is not love." Dimitri had told her he loved her....and then he had raped her.....again and agian and again for as long as she could remeber. If someone loved you, how could they hurt you, and know that they did, that the could, and relish it? She very much wanted to disappear just then.
"You just behave youself." The approached the castle, but things were runn differently now, and there seemed to be a lot more security. "I'm not so certain we are going to eb able to get in."
Roarke rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. "Ah, no you don't need to do anything for me, Eliot. I'm just glad you're here as a freind, and not some power hungry student. Or love crazed dragon."
She took a hankerchief out of a pocket and dabbed and Piper's eyes. "There now. Feeling better, aren't we?" She soothed, pated the crying elf on the back. "It's not so hard after you cry. You're body needed the physical release. Now it can begin to heal itself properly."

Tarathiel steped to Aella, and placed one hand on her shoulder, and another under her chin. "Life must go on, Special." He picked up the staff with his bare hand, and felt it's pulse rush into him. "Do take this from me."

She couldn't look into his eyes just then, she couldn't take the pain. She reached out a shaking hand and took the staff, forced back it's awful conrtol as she had every other time she picked up the tihng. "Life goes on. But it hurts."

Piper sniffled and nodded as she pulled back from Meilikki. "...yes..." Voice was soft again like before as if she didn't want to hear it or anyone else to for that matter. Well...she did...it felt...felt like whatever weight she ahd been dragging around with her was taken away from her and she could walk with ease. Sure...there was her pride that still felt ashamed from the crying, but the greater whole outweighted that. "I hope you're right Meilikki..." She really did. She didn't want her life down here being dominated and marred by Kaden or anything else she had been regretting. Though she almost asked Meilikki is she looked bad...but remembered the oracle to be blind and she knew anyway that crying just made you look bad. Yeah, she'd sit behind closed doors a little while longer. "Thank you..." It was the least she could do.

Kat stuck her tongue out at her dad. "No Daddy I thought I would be an idiot in front of the king... I wonder if he would like a piercing?" She winked at some of the guards as they walked past, there was no shortage of cuteness around here she thought.
Eliot laughed. "That I am not kind sir." She stood up and did a little bow, she got to the table and tossed Roarke a piece of cheese as she nibbled on one herself. " I am trouble though, If my parents can not remember how they met, and really how they got to the huh.. forest I think it is called... then maybe it is because they are from the corn fields themselves?"

Malik was quiet during Tarathiel and Whirlwind's exchange.
"Love takes many forms. some are different than others. like a certainly black furred feline who spent two hours in his sleeping chewing on a washrag laid over his face."
That had been funny to see. he would have called piper to see it but..well...she wouldn't have found much humorous at the time.
"as for Tarathiel...I think..at least as close as she can, his sister loves him. just not in quite a strictly sisterly manner."
A slight grin at that.
"And of course, she doesn't think about his feelings on the subject very much I'd wager. drow women are a bit...overbearing sometimes."
to put it lightly. before his eyes moved to the door again, with a slightl frown. Piper was crying. what had the oracle said to her to make her cry? that got a bit of concern. had she told Piper somethign that upset her?
Onyx grinned lightly.
"because I can. that's all the reason you need to hunt. becuase you can."
hmm. interesting to grin and not feel the humor. but it still didn't seem so bad. he still didn't get the big deal.
"And what's it like to have a sudden flaring of overpowering and overbearing emotions?"

O'Konner almost growled at his daughter. She approuched the front gates, and his way was bared. He was asked if he had an appointment.
"I had one with Dimitir, before he was killed. I need to see king Jiscal. And Unless you want your city meatless, then I suggest you let me in to see him.
He took the cheese, swallowed it down. he loved cheese. "It's possible. It's not being the hooded man to experiment with animls. He was probably working on the idea that animals have no souls. He proved that worng, obviously."
"You are welcome." She smiled. "Anytime you need to cry, you come visit me, and I'll make sure your darling fiance doesn't know aobut it." She stood, pulled Piper up with her. "The room is dark, it will be difficult to see your red eyes. But I wouldn't worry anyway, Malik will not think any less of you for crying." She led the way back out inot the main room.
She shivered as if she were cold, and even with the fire built up as it was to keep Meilikki warm, and she coulddn't stop it. She held herself, tightened all of her muscles as if it would help her from the pain. "I would rather the arrow. It heals quicker."
She looked at Malik, not sure what to think about little statment. Onyx....frightened her. She just didn't know what to think around him.

"Malik, Significant will not eat your Piper." Tarathiel said at Malik's gestures towards the door. "Sensing your love eh?" I wish I could do that... Love.
"Drow women..." Tarathiel shivered. "There is a reason why I am here..."
"So... now that we are 'friends', at least in a drow sense, What's the plan? To be honest, I have never had one in my life. I merely help people get what they want, and often meld those wants together. Its rather interesting being called the usurper of thrones when all I have done was meld other's actions..."
"Hey, did you know that your phase blocking charm can be defeated by a simple planar alignment charm, which shifts the barriers so that a single or multiple gates can be opened in a warded area?"
"Not to mention that your other charms can be pierced. They are really fruitless to leave on all the time like that. It is better to have them triggered."
Tarathiel glanced at Aella, "Physical wounds always do. And for elves, they don't even leave a scar." Elves heal perfectly.

Kat batted her lashes at the guard behind her fathers back. Never any harm in a little flirting. Always fun. She played with the leather collar around her neck which hung pebbles, beads, medalions, anything Kat found pretty.
Eliot handed Roarke his cup of spiced wine and another piece of cheese, she also downed another and sipped that wonderfly cool spiced wine. It tinged her lips red. "Yes, I have no idea who thought animals don't have souls. It's ludicrouse. It is ieasy to see that animals have souls. Without them they would have no loyalty or pride." Eliot shook her head, oh well. "Some have considered me souless when they saw what I was able to do." She leane dagainst the table. "If my parents where experiemented on, I would liek to kow how the escaped. It was obviouse that my parents never lost their souls or else I doubt they would have loed each other, or even escaped. It... just... I don't know how to describe it... my mind does not understand it. How one can be souless." She set her cup down and watched Roarke for a moment. "How can someone take that from you?"

Moosntone smiled, and revealed that he could actually feel the mirth behind it. "You won't bee feeling that way for very long. You won't even feel pleasure from the taste of your food." He lifted an eyebrow. "So now, if Aella Whirlwind were to come by..." an evil grin, "What would you do if I advanced on her, mmm Onyx? You won't feel any jealousy. You won't even feel the attraction."
"I'm only half-elf." Then a look. "Warhammer would be very disheartened if he ever heard you say that."
