[OOC:] Alright. Yay torture!
Hakaru grasped his wife closer to him. "You shouldn't be alone with such nightmares. I will stay here at your side and follow you anywhere you go."
Lute gently wiped away her tears and put his forehead to hers. "It'll be alright Chloe." he said, smiling a little before his head began to ache horribly. He gripped his head some, starting to see the horrid things Chloe had been cursed with, though she was now free of their torment.

Kai shook her head. "I have to go to the ocean."
Chloe leaned back and put her hand on Lute's cheek. "What's wrong?"

Hakaru kissed her forehead softly. "Then I will take you there. No buts."
Lute gripped his head more, pulling his black hair a little. "It's horrible. Make it stop. Make these things go away! I don't want to see such things!"

Kai frowned, but didn't argue. She knew that the only way to stop her husband would be far too hurtful to both of them. So, instead, she stood, pulling him up as well. "Yuke and Chloe; they'll need to come, too."
Chloe's eyes widened and she realized that he was seeing what she'd seen just moments ago. "It's not real!" she told him, smoothing down his mussed hair and holding his face in her hands, staring into his eyes. "Lute. You're not there."

Hakaru nodded some. "Alright. I'll get Yuke. You go get Chloe." he said, leaving to get his son.
Lute looked up at Chloe, his eyes welling up from the horror of the things he saw. He nestled close to Chloe, sobbing softly. He didn't want to let go and be subjected to that again.

Kai nodded, heading to her granddaughter's room. She knocked before entering, and only raised her eyebrows at the strange scene before her. She knelt by the two, touching Chloe's arm softly. "Sweetheart, we've got to go," she said, knowing full well that the younger mer-fox had had the same strange nightmares.
Chloe looked up, and nodded. "Can I have...a while?" she asked, and Kai nodded, getting up and leaving Chloe's room. Chloe hugged Lute again and kissed his cheek. "Do you want to come?"

Hakaru came to Yuke's room and entered as well. He gently pet his son's head some, glancing to Natalia. "Yuke. We have to go, son."
Lute continued to sob a little, though he was calming down in her arms. "Maybe.... It would help."

Yuke looked up at his father and nodded, understanding where they'd be going. He stood, his arms still around Natalia, and kissed her forehead. "I'll be back love," he whispered to her, before going into their room and changing quickly.
Chloe sat up and hugged Lute once more before letting go and standing. "You should go to your room and change. We can meet in the hallway."

Natalia sighed and bid her husband goodbye. She was going to miss him horribly.
Lute nodded some and went back to his room, putting on more casual clothes before going to meet Chloe.

Yuke gave Natalia one last sweet kiss before leaving to meet his parents and daughter. He eyed Lute, but didn't say anything as Chloe appeared.
Chloe put her hand in Lute's, looking to her grandmother for directions.
Kai touched her son reassuringly on the shoulder, and looked to Hakaru. "I don't know if we'll be able to do anything, but we might as well see just what's happening out there," she said, leading them to the front of the castle where a carriage was waiting for them.

Hakaru helped everyone board the carriage before getting in himself and sitting beside his wife while the kids shared the other bench.
Lute was sitting on Chloe's right, Yuke was to her left, which left the girl right in the middle of them. He gently held her hand, wondering where they were going.

Yuke eyed Lute's and Chloe's entwined hands, but again said nothing, leaning his head against the side of the carriage and pretending to sleep.
Chloe leaned her head into Lute's shoulder, her eyes trained on the window of the carriage as the countryside went by, leading to the ocean.
Kai nuzzled into her husband's side, wishing that their trip was a more pleasant one.

Lute wrapped an arm around Chloe's shoulders, looking out the window as well. He wondered why they had to go so far away, just for these nightmares. Speaking of, his head began to hurt again as he felt himself nodding off.
Hakaru kissed Kai's forehead softly, quietly promising a better vacation soon.

Soon, the carriage stopped, and everyone was ushered out of the carriage and onto the beach. Already, Kai could tell something was terribly wrong. There were ships anchored all along the reefline, and there was a definite red tint to the water.

Lute and Hakaru, helping everyone out and onto the sand. The boy looked out on the ocean and knew, even though it was his first time seeing, it was blood. Lots of it.
