His eyes closed, hearing finally what he'd known for so long. There was something he needed to tell her, but he wasn't sure how to put it. How do you tell someone that only the previous day you were head over heels for that that was only an act put on by Nikolaus to have himself released? Sure, he did care for her that he didn't want her hurt, but deep down he couldn't bring himself to say or even think the words love. He didn't love her, nor did he even like her as much as she did. She was just too damn young and happy, and clashed too much with his own personality. "They are aren't they? I just wish they knew how much I loved them, but instead they hate me. Well at least Ty does, I think Sammy can see where I'm coming from. I may have not been the best dad to them, but I provided for them and made sure they had what they needed to survive. It's all I could do and not destroy their chances at a normal life. Alas, they have powers like mine and need me in their life." Then he smiled as a thought struck in his head. "It's funny how you call them kids, yet I know Tyler's older than you and Sammy's only a year younger." He knew this bothered Ari a lot, but he was only being honest. Musica was always honest, why should he hide who he is? EDIT: He looked at the flash of light and his stomach retched, just like anytime he felt the presence of his yang. He let on nothing. "Must be a storm brewing, looked like lightening to me."

Aurora dropped the hot chocolate, and the little cup broke on the hard floors in the hallway. Her eyes, normally an odd shade of indigo that was as unnoticeable as it was noticeable, flashed to a blue that didn't want to stick to any color--dark, Prussian blue and midnight hues mixed with the color of the sky, the color of life, the color one might imagine for a soul.
Then she fell to her knees, mouth open and eyes still wide. "...He is gone."
That presence, so full of evil, no longer lingered among the realm of the living in a bodiless way. That presence... it had not moved on, she knew that. She did not have much experience with that side of her powers, but she knew that it had not moved on. That presence had found a host, and was most probably acting as a parasite now. She needed to find the host... and try to either expel the evil spirit or save the host spirit. Unless this soul (and she did not doubt it) knew how to kill another soul without killing the body, they would find out the hard way that one body was never created to hold more than one soul at a time.
But her self-assigned mission would have to wait, for she succumbed then to the welcoming darkness...

{{I'll catch up after I post. lol. But I think Tyler and Akira would be cuter together. That is, after awhile! I'm hoping to start focusing on things other than romance in the RP. lol. Romance is cool, but we need other stuff, too. But yeah, my vote is for Tyler and Akira. smile }}
Ever had tried to sleep. She had dozed for a couple hours, but then she started having a bad dream and she jerked awake, sitting up suddenly in bed. She didn't remember what all her dream had been about, but she remembered one big part of it. Ares was telling her, like he had earlier that evening, that he didn't believe that she still cared for him and that she hadn't shown to him that she wanted to be with him. For some reason, the true meaning and gravity of what he said just now sunk into her. Maybe since they had been fighting, she hadn't really absorbed what he had to say. She REALLY needed to work on that!
But right now, she knew that she needed to correct what she had done, how Ares thought Ever felt. He was wrong. She did still want to be with him, very much. She had simply said that they might need a break because she thought that they both needed to mature and communicate better. But now that she thought about it, why couldn't they do that together? Why couldn't they remain together while they worked on growing and making themselves better?
Well, whatever would happen, she still needed to clear up any misunderstandings with Ares.
She had never teleported anywhere before, but she remembered that Ares said she simply had to focus on the person she wanted to find, and she could teleport to where they were.
So, she did just that. She closed her eyes and focused on Ares. She pictured him, imagined his masculine scent, and even imagined the energy that she always felt coming off of him in waves.
Suddenly, she felt all the weight in her body leave her. She felt as if she were floating. A few short moments later, her feet were placed on the ground again. She finally, slowly, opened her eyes. She gasped when she saw that she was indeed in Ares' room now on Mt. Olympus. A small smile appeared on her face. She had done it! She had teleported.
When she looked around the room, her eyes fell on Ares, who was lying on the bed. Her smile quickly disappeared and she grew nervous. However, she wouldn't be deterred. She would ignore her nerves and tell Ares what she had come here to tell him.
"Ares?"

Ari nodded. It wasn't a storm. "He'll come around... just keep trying. Sam'll do her best, I'm sure!" she sighed. It didn't escape her notice that he had sidestepped her statement. She pulled away, more concerned about the lightning... and it's cause. "Look, I'm tired. I'll catch you later, kay? Don't stress about your kids, you'll get an ulsor!" she then left him in the darkness. Once she was around the corner of the building, she ran full tilt for the lake. She knew she shouldn't go, she knew she ought to turn around and run back to Musica and drag him away. But she didn't. Something more was compelling her to go. She pushed through the trees, and emerged by the lake shore. Tyler was there, but something was wrong.
Ari realized her mistake. "Oh Gods..." she said.

Arielle had been holed up so long and so thoroughly in her office that she did not even remember when she'd started this. All she knew was that whatever defenses her school currently had... they weren't enough. This war was going to be devastating, she knew it.
She also knew, suddenly, that she was depending very heavily upon Evermore and Akira. This was never what she had planned--she didn't expect Setsuka to return. She needed to get those girls out of harm's way--and if they refused... If they refused, she would have to make a temporary Council of sorts within her school. Only select people, preferably ones already involved so that more would not be at stake.
She didn't like this.

Rrine She watched Ty go, feeling a little piece of her go with him. ”So,” she said to Musica, ”Want to go for a walk?” She wasn’t angry at him. She technically had no right to be. She had accepted his lifestyle, and she knew he wouldn’t change over night. If at all. She liked him the way he was, in any case. He wouldn’t be the same if he was different. As she stepped out into the moonlight, her face looked abnormally ethereal, beautiful almost. ”C’mon,” she said again, this time with a small smile, ”It’s better than standing still.” Her emotions were a rage within her. A huge storm. She felt the need to move, to run, to laugh, to be passionate… all very odd. {{So, that means Ari isn't mad at Ever, either, right? B/c if she's not mad at Musica, she surely can't be mad at Ever. After all, Ever was just reacting to what she heard. Musica was the one who knew how Ari felt.}}

(( 3nodding ))
Kilala had left once Evermore had been asleep, a troubled sleep, but still in dream land all the less. It was Raven's job as a familiar to take over now. Granted, the little light fairy was still new at this, but she'd get the hang of it sooner or later!
The Demonic feline took her time walking back to Akira's room- her room too now- and looked out the windows of the hallway.
Something just didn't feel right...It was as if whatever ghostly dark presence that had been around earlier just disappeared, yet wasn't completely gone but now more solid and focused in one particular spot...It was disturbing, really.

Unnaturally blue eyes snapped to the side as he looked over at the girl who approached. Manifested from his hand appeared a whip of light. A single gloved hand held onto the whip as he launched it out to Ari, wrapping it around her tiny frame to roughly drag her over to the body of Tyler. He was stronger than before, this body not holding back his strength in anyway. As her body reached him a hand went up to stroke her hair. "You've done well young one, too bad you don't even know what you've helped me to accomplish." He was smiling like a mad man, then he threw his head back in laughter as his body continued to grow and convulse. His hair extended and his muscles grew. The clothes he was wearing turned into the jeans and cloak he loved to wear. This was no longer the face of Tyler Burke the son of Musica, but Nikolaus the demented half of the demigod son of Baldr.

Ari struggled as the whip encased her, dragging her to him. She shivered as he stroked her hair, but to her horror; it was half in pleasure and half in revulsion. The pleasure part bothered her. ”Don’t touch me!” she spat. ”I freed a man from your grip. Sure, you’re free, but now you can be killed!” Ari glared at him, but to her horror, her hands were pinned to her sides. She couldn’t blast him. For a moment, fear showed in her eyes. ”Well, party’s over. I’m not doing you any more favors.”

He couldn't stop her before she was gone, and by the time he thought it best to pursue after her it was too late. Running as fast as possible to the lake he'd been kicked out from he heard the cackle of Nikolaus. Ignoring all the forest creatures that were trying to attack him he sprinted onto the scene going on at the lake. His neglected heart within him began to pound. He'd already gotten to his son, he was too late. "Tyler! Oh Asgard what has he done to you?!" Musica was fuming inside, unable to handle what was happening in front of him. Then he saw Ari and his heart drooped. Ever since he'd been seperated from Nikolaus he'd had a bad feeling within him that he'd be the cause of her death. It seems that would be coming true sooner than one would think.
