Unbelievably excited that I may actually be able to sleep in a real bed tonight I quickly rush out of my tent and for the second time in two days I pack up all my belongings ready to see our new HQ. I pull out my TADS after packing and I open up the message from Ginji that shows the location of the elusive undersea place along with a few things I can do on the way. After showing the directions to Tropius I hop on his back and I hope for the best having really no clue as of where im going or how im supposed to get there… after a few hours Tropius lands in a terribly dense rainforest type place and I look at him very puzzled although he did seem very amused by his surroundings.

Me: you sure this is the right place… it looks very vacant and I really cant see anywhere that could even lead underwater….
Tropius:*Nods in affirmation then starts walking away like something caught his eye*
Me: awe well ill let him have fun…*starts walking in the opposite direction thinking there had to be something around here that would at least mark where I should be going.*

Just as it was starting to seem like I was walking in circles I look up to see Tropius chasing a group of Syther playfully in the forest canopy. “well at least it looks like someone is having fun with this” I said to myself walking even more aimlessly into the forest. Within the next few seconds I began to notice a few sets of footprints surrounding a general area and since this place is so devoid of human life other than Aqua I quickly assumed the best out of the situation thinking that I was on the right track at least. Tropius returned to my side just as I motioned for him to come back down knowing I must be close and I needed to get ready because I had no idea how to actually get into this place. I returned Tropius to his ball and I followed the trail of footprints which seemed to split up at one point in time but eventually came back together in one general area. I thought to myself that the secret entrance must be around here somewhere so I started searching in the least obvious places or at least where I thought I something secret would be hidden. Completely to my surprise as I was down on my knees searching for something, I don’t quite know what yet that Im supposed to be finding, I was attacked from behind from a seemingly angered Bayleef that I basically had to dodge out of the way matador style from its stampede like attack. Just as it turned around for another run at me I sent out Surskit which had the chance to out speed it with a simple Leech life attack dealing a bit of damage also making the opponent more enraged. Bayleef then turned its whole body around sending a silvery glittering tail into the body of Surskit injuring it quite badly due to the major size difference. Surskit able to attack at such close range shot a direct ice beam attack into the back legs of Bayleef leaving it immobile frozen to the ground, a perfect way to get in another attack this time with Shadow ball adding up the dealt damage almost leaving Bayleef unable to battle. Bayleef then with the last of its energy took its still frost coated body and slammed its whole weight upon the fragile body of Surskit leaving it undoubtedly unable to battle. I quickly returned my maimed pokemon replacing its spot on the field with Nincada who then finished the opponent off with Bug Bite barely needing to take any effort in winning the battle. The injured Bayleef only stayed unconscious for a few minutes running off scared almost after coming to its scenes not even really giving me time to check and see if it was okay. As I watched the pokemon race off into the distance I noticed a torn apart doorway of some sort and I slapped myself over the head for not noticing something that obvious earlier. I jumped into the hatch after returning Nincada to his ball not even really caring anymore of the random places I just go into. After a few seconds I am surrounded by a light as if a bomb just went off so I automatically go into a crouching position scared out of my mind and within the same second I appear in the middle of my new HQ landing on the floor with my hands covering my head, quite an embarrassing sight for myself alone to see but im just glad no one else was around for that. I jumped to my feet and dusted myself off at the same time I looked around at I suppose would be the new place I would call home. “not half bad, a little dusty though I might add” I said to myself thinking aloud again as usual. I started walking around figuring I should get to know what’s around here better and for that matter a room that I could claim for myself. I walked through the depths of the building peering in every closed door room after room until at almost the end of a long hallway I found a dimly lit room with some very exotic looking plants in it which seem to have been living just on the moisture in the air and the light from a ceiling fan, at the time it seemed impossible to me but I was completely sidetracked when I saw a small cot in the corner next to a window which had a vast scene of the ocean complete with a school of Luvdisc. I quickly screamed out in exitement “HOME” and I began to unpack my belongings which weren’t really much after the tragedy of our other HQ setting myself up a nice little “hole in the wall” apartment of some sort.

I jumped on the bed exhausted from the day in general and I just stared at the ceiling along with the dust that seemed to accumulated in the air when I opened the almost sealed in time room. “ I wonder who lived here before me” I thought to myself, followed by “whoever they are they had great taste in coloring”. the room was a basic off white covered by a large ivy plant that was living in the corner of the room. Just as I headed for the door after getting settled in and having my moment of peace a large piece of the Ivy plant flung its way down the doorframe practically biting my head. Just then I noticed two beady eyes staring at me after I brushed it off my head and I must have jumped a good 3 feet in the air out of fear. The lively plant object began to chuckle at me and it took me a few minutes to recognize what it was, it was a Carnivine and I only saw about 1 or 2 before this day and I never really thought they were the joking type but this one proved me wrong. A vine then crept up my pants leg without me noticing then grabbed my ankle pulling me to the ground which seemed to be hysterical to the fiendish pokemon as it began to laugh maniacally. I stood up slightly chuckling myself and I started to talk to the pokemon weather it could fully comprehend what I was saying or not “ ya know I think we could get used to living together, then again you are the one who was probably taking care of these plants all these years, and might I add you did a mighty good job.” Carnivine then bowed its head and crept down the doorframe hitting the floor in a fighting stance. I nodded and began to speak to it again “ so you want a battle first, understandable, I mean I’m trying to take your home and all….”. I then pulled out Shuppet’s pokeball wanting to test its power also. Carnivine surprisingly launched itself off the ground at high speeds catching Shuppet completely off guard also dealing quite a chunk of damage leaving Shuppet in sheer shock, not sure what to make of the situation Shuppet wildly attacked without order scorching the opponent with a ghostly flame leaving it with long-term damage to deal with. Carnivine unphased by the attack easily finished off Shuppet with another clean Crunch attack taking minimal damage from its burns afterwards. Realizing I should stay away from the ghost category and I should also use something a bit stronger I sent out Cloyster ready for round two of this battle. Carnivine completely changed its pace of attacks sending a powered up wine whip attack into the hard shell of Cloyster. Cloyster took the attack with ease even taking the extra damage of the type difference showing how tough that shell can really be. Cloyster then shot a wave of light out of the center of its shell that changed color like a rainbow dealing damage along with slowing the opponent down just a tad. Carnivine not even realizing the minor speed drop went in for another attack once again taking damage from the burns after landing another vine whip but not showing any signs of fatigue. I was sure at that point that it had to be in some kind of danger although it didn’t show it, its just nature that It couldn’t survive that long. I pulled a Aqua Ball out of my pocket and threw it at the pokemon as fast as possible before the burns got any worse and within a few moments without any struggle Carnivine stayed in the ball showing that it will at least be loyal loosing fair and square.

I ran to a nearby healing machine that I noticed earlier and I healed all my pokemon that were used in battle along with Carnvine, afterwards I walked into what looked like the common room in hopes to find someone to talk to along with a Carnivine attached to my back basicly like a back pack but much better and it seemed to be enjoying the free ride anyway along with the occasional poking at my feet trying to trip me up again.

*Ike had rediscovered his old room and cleaned it up a bit. He didn't find any old possessions, but he wouldn't be surprised if he came across something sooner or later. He had also dropped by most of the secret entrances and exits, all of which were teleport platforms.*
Ike: *Walks around the common room with his hands tucked in his pockets, wanting to go explore the island with someone.*

Cody woke up. It was almost night-time. He had slept well in his new room. It was new to him, but he was comfy. "Hey guys, what's up?"

*Ike grins*
Ike: 3nodding Howdy guys. Feel up to exploring a bit? There's something that's been itching at me a little.

*Hunter stirs in his comfortable niche back in the Whirl Islands and wakes up to once again find himself alone*
Me: Damn... They must've already taken off for the Aquos base... Shame I never really knew where it was

*Teleports to the Whirl Islands with Xatu*

"Duuusss~~!"
Dusclops waves to me from a distance. He's still guarding the unconscious Mr. Ames. On the way over, I notice another familiar face.

"Hi Hunter! How've you been lately? Looks like everyone else took off for that other island."

*Hunter sees a flash of light in his peripheral vision and looks over to find Thard standing there*
Me: Hey Thard. I always seem to miss it when we move around. Guess I'll have to get Eon to teleport me there.
