Zander stifeened. "i smell them..." he hissed, his eyes darting to one of the trees. His fur stiffened and he growled.

A wave of black creatures lunged in to the air they move too fast to see what they were but they had a familiar glaze in there eyes, if Zy didn't know better he could have sworn they were werewolves. This took the warriors by surprise killing several in the first few seconds. Zy pulled out his sword a charged at a nearby enemy.
Rebeca was confused as well but not surprised. the elders always have something up their sleeves.

Zander charged forward, raising ahand and grabbing one by the neck long enough to stop it. 'Rebeca!" he shouted." what is this?" he asked, holding it up toward her. even if she was high up, he bet her eyes were good enough to see it now that it was still.

"An experiment!" She shouted back. she wouldn't know exactly what is was until she could test it's blood. it moved like a vampire, but had the strength of a werewolf. "Shaon!" Rebeca called for her.
Zy didn't care what they were, as long as they could dye, then Zy will try to kill them.

Sahon ran throught the halls until somethign crashed through the roof, its body agile but fur seeming to light its features. shaon surged forward into it, but as soon as it fell one knocked her back and she grimaced. She snarled, ripping into a claw that came close to her, and tearing into morbid flesh that tasted like it had rotted. She spat it out: poison!! She snarled, trying to force them off as they converged around her, ripping at her. she kicked some off, her strenght was greater because of her dual heritage. still, these things were too powerful for her and she was knocked aside again, snarlign with her crying child cluinging to her.
Zander ripped its throat off, leaving its bloody corpse to fall to the ground. he sniffed the air, something smelled off.

Zy continued to slice through the enemy without though, it wasn't until he realized he was bleeding from the back that he stopped. his back was numb and he began to feel cold. everything seemed to be going in slow motion. Zy was knocked down from the gate to the ground.
Rebeca didn't noticed what happened because she ran down stairs to find Shaon.
"Well well, looks like we meet again." A short man said as he walked out of the shadows. It was Bruce, he was the one chasing them.

Zander sprinted to Zy and yanked him up into his furry arm, fending off more. As much as he wanted shaon, he would never let her get hurt. He was sure losing Zy would kill her.
Shaon protected her child with her body, kicking and ripping at anything, trying not to drink the blood or taste the flesh. she was beggining to feel numb from all the blows, her blood and her opponent's blood dripping onto the floor as she shuddered. Janan cried agaisnt ehr mother's shivering form.

Bruce pulled out his crossbow, shooting it at the man who grabbed Zy. "b*****d!"
Rebeca cut the head off of one of the creatures that was attacking Shaon. She pierced anothers shoulder.

Zander bolted away, dragging Zy the easiest way he could. he dodged the bolt, running toward the castle
Shaon used the opportunity to hit oe on her side. all of them were dead now, and she scrambledup beside Rebeca, panting and hurt.

Zy laid motionless in Zanders arms.
Rebeca looked at Shaons cuts to see if any were serious. "You okay?" She asked as she inspected her.
Bruce watched the man run away. and then turned to the castle. he smiled as he headed in the main hall through a large hole in the call.

Zander ran in, finding Rebeca and shaon. "Some guy is coming, Zy's hurt!"
shaon turned, ignoring her own wounds and running to Zander's side, giving Janan to Zander as she grabbed Zy. "Zy!" she cried, holding him. "ZY!"

Zy didn't respond. his eyes were open, but they were empty. His mind was racing with images of the creatures.
Rebeca looked over at Zander. "What? What do you mean some guy is coming?" She asked him.

"I don;t know." Zander panicked. "it was some man, he had a crossbow, too.
"ZY!" shaon cried, shaking him and leaning down. she felt tears run down her face as she panicked, kissing his lips. "Zy...you're going to be alright, just hold on..."

Rebeca looked around. "Come on, we're not safe here." She told them. the castle was falling and if they didn't get reinforcement soon, there would be no hope for them.
Bruce continued to look for the child that the elders told him about.
