According to Marion Zimmer Bradley, that's the only story there is - everything is just a variation on that.

The only ones you can get are Growlanser II & III (Growlanser Generations, the deluxe pack owns) They're the weakest games in the entire series. Growlanser II starts in the middle of the first game and follows Wein Cruz's adventure torwards becoming an Imperial Knight. It's cute because you can get the chicks or guys to fall in love with you. surprised Growlanser III is about an emo-dude named Slayn who's lost his memory and has to find it. The battle system and the art makes up for the story.
