I'd been trying to not mis-read stuff he's said and done...but just so many different things that all indicated that he likes me piled up...
I mean, he likes to tease me because he really enjoys/likes my reactions...
He outright said he likes me....but me, not wanting to assume it meant what I wanted it to, asked for clarification and got a "nah"
He was an evil sneaky meany and even though I told him to not pay for me one of the times we had lunch...as I was telling him I would pay for myself, he told the lady behind the counter he was paying for my ice cream...
He's said "I don't hate you. I have a strong opinion of you and it's definitely not "hate."
He said when I later asked him "So, that strong opinion you have of me...what is it?" I got "Do you really expect me to answer that?" "Nope, still gonna ask anyway" "I enjoy your company. I'd enjoy it more if I wasn't so busy."
(later figured out that meant he'd take me on a date/spend lots more time if he weren't so busy)
He gave me actually super helpful advice on breaking it off with my ex...and said that "if he won't respect you as his girlfriend, maybe a text is all he needs."
When I explained that I might have subconsciously used my ex as a replacement for him...he didn't freak out and said he completely understood that...
When I, in a slightly-out-of-it state, said, in answer to the question "why are you trying to impress me?" that "In my slightly naive idea-plans-stuff, I figured impressing you might cause you to be interested in me." he sent back "What an interesting notion. smile "
(he NEVER sends a straight smile. Never. Closest he's gotten is the also rare "^^", but never a straight smile)
(when his "100% pure" happy shows up, it says something)
He's asked me "would you like me any other way? :3" as a serious question...and upon telling him that I like him as himself, got told "That's entirely alright with me on all accounts~"
I've asked him a couple times that "if you didn't want me to take something a certain way, you'd make sure I wouldn't, right?" he said "yep." so basically if he didn't want me to think he might like/be interested in me....he'd make sure I knew he did not like me in that way.
And all of this time, I just knew he already knew I still liked him, even though I did my best to use past tense at times....so I had that to consider into what he did and said....
So yeah.
None of that was in chronological order...
And anything underlined is me speaking to make it easier to figure out who is saying what.
Gah, I really want to give him a hug so much right now..... Omg I just wanna cry and snuggle you. You need to get this man and make him yours! He's out right teasing you. It's sort of hilarious in how devious it is though. xD

He has enough to handle as it is without me and my crazy that he seems to not only be able to handle and understand, but actually enjoys having around.

...Wow, this place has slowed down.
*pulls the dusty canvas tarp off of a wingback chair*
It almost makes me want to cry. Hidden away, but amongst friends at least. *Pours a cup of tea; sits down*
I'm sure it's old news by now, considering it was four months ago, but what is this I hear of RainsEclipse stepping down as hostess of our once merry band?
