While it was true, that he could be called a realist and a pessimist, it was not from lack of faith but simply an understanding of the reality of what they were about to embark upon. Something that Choumei clearly did not understand if she was this hyped, maybe he had changed after all. For the first time in his entire life, he did not approve of his friends behavior. While he took her words they did not help her case at all. He greatly disapproved of the previous Hokage and his devil may care, throw lives at things, policy. Why did this bother him so much? What caused him to fear the future? On the one hand Choumei did have a point. They were trained, they just needed polishing and instruction on how to fight this specific enemy. That was something he was entirely sure he was capable of. So what was it that he was afraid of? They were shinobi. Men and women who are born bread and die for their cause. He knew that, he could rationalize that. But could he bear it? If one of them was injured could he accept the blame for it? Could he bear the weight of a headstone on his conscious because he did not train them well enough? While did not want to go to that route of thinking it was where his logical and realistic brain took him. Letting out a soft sigh he began to recite the ten prayers of the gods in his head, though he changed the order around so that he would say the prayer of Tsukuyomi first. Why did she have to pick him.....

The sound of her name being called made her look to the man. She disliked hearing her middle and last name in tandem. The meaning was not lost on her. (See: Moody Blues.) Still, she looked to Nobu and smacked her hands on his shoulder. "I'll see ya around I suppose. Kya, heading out." With that, she would leave.
Well her squad leader seemed to be quite the serious man. That had its positives and negatives but in the end there was little that she could do about it. At least other than doing her best to prove him wrong. His order was straight forward if curt, and as far as a training ground went the river would please Naomi since it had a decent source of water nearby. The clone walked over towards Yasu before bowing to him and sounding off, "Naomi Senju, orders acknowledged." With that the clone walked off to go find its original and transfer the memories.
Naomi was on her way back to the classroom when the clone appeared. Reaching out with her hand to touch the clone she absorbed its gathered memories before dispelling the jutsu. Oh? So that's my squad leader and squad mates huh? Well at least Taka isn't going to hold me back to try and keep me safe.... guess I better get over to the river. With her orders now in mind the girl headed off for the meeting place.

Was some one talking? He'd pretended to miss half that noise for feigned sleep, at least up until the point Choumei slammed her gauntlet on herself and 'woke' him up, wiping the drool from his cheek. Where were her gummy bears? Was this serious, or was she as deranged as he was? He stood up and stretched, letting his neck and shoulders pop a few times while she went about her introductions. Out the door she went, and Kanzaki would follow right behind, yawning."Is the brief over? I missed it."Someone caught his eye as he left, or more specifically that someone's chest. He hadn't seen that one before, so he just gave Mitsuru a wink, heading out the doors of the damned Academy again. Wasn't he supposed to be a Genin now? Why was everything taking place here? Assurance from the Hokage aside, Sumika didn't feel much better. Silently she sealed her puppet, choosing instead to roll around in her sand like the pitiful little idiot she was. After a minute she commanded it back into the pockets of her somewhat pointless flak jacket, and wandered off towards the exit. "Guess I'm gonna go break some rock." She said, somewhat bored by the prospect of not doing anything interesting involving the mission. Might as well do some other crud, at least. And maybe mining would help ease her melancholy.

Zin entered into the Academy not long after departing form the Kage office. Ready to start truly concentrate his talents in formulating a series of techniques that will make him as competent as the masked shinobi that he observed when he was first brought into the village. Heading into the all too familiar Academy but this time actually seeing the children within. His fellow peers that, sadly, he wasn't able engage with during his time training with them. Maybe one day....
For now, Zin went into the library to collect a series of scrolls that would begin to try challenge him beyond the basics that the Academy teach. One particular jutsu, "Makigai Ben", that Zin spotted one of the masked men utilizing in interrogation. Of course he could only assume it was the technique as it held the same context. Basic. Simple. But efficient. Finding himself a place of solitude from the rest of the crowd, at least with his serpent Nagi who'd slither himself up upon the tree and watch his master train while he himself began to pick of the population of birds. Such a precious snake. Zin would give the scroll a few glance overs and began to break down what he was to do. First was the creation and manipulation of raw chakra. Then molding that chakra to take the shape of a whip. Which then can be used as a blunt but cracking-damage weapon. Nodding to this, Zin pulled up his oversized sleeved jack and opened his small hand to begin focusing chakra into it. 1/3 Makigai Ben =============== As the chakra began to manifest and make itself into a visible form in Zin's palm he worked on manipulating itself into a proper whip. Considering that it was based on the imagination of the user, slowly an onyx whip handle would begin to manifest itself from his hand. Gripping the handle within his pale fingers he focused further on the whip itself. Letting the coils start and being to snake out from the tip of the hilt. Working slowly as Zin teetered his chakra to continue it's manifestation in a perfect balanced state. 2/2 ==== Eventually, Zin made it to the point that the whip gained full fruition. Five feet of length, or barbed tapered, chakra spikes protruding from the four straps that sprouted out from the tip of the handle. Though Zin needed to focus, mostly on keeping the jutsu active while he began striking the tree with his vicious creation, having the chakra-created Cat-O-Nine tails ripping portions of bark with every firm strike. Making sure the loud whip crack would echo lightly within the portion, that gave something of a spike of interest to what would happen if it was the flesh of another rather than bark. Releasing the focus of the whip and letting the technique began to loose it's mallability, Zin would look up to Nagi cheerfully as he was in the process of crushing an unsuspecting Avian creature, "I think we might have a new device to work with people socially Nagi." Zin said as the amused snake hissed a little before the excited pale youth looked back down to his scrolls in curiosity of what else he could manipulate with his chakra! 3/3

When Zin successfully completed one technique, he'd look up to Nagi when he found his other scroll holding some interest to him. Oh this will definitely make his serpent happy for that little bird wouldn't be enough to truly fill that boa; and even though Zin had some food rations in his satchel, it was nothing in comparison to what was around the Academy. Nice... fresh...blood kills. Deciding to surprise his snake before calling him down to get ready, Zin would travel over to a nearby pond where Koi fish would be swimming around. For a moment the child would stare at the fish that was to be unsuspecting prey for him. Using the same hand that was already out of the confines of that oversized top that he had, Zin would start to apply the workings of his last technique, but instead of forming his chakra in a raw shape, Zin would do the same but with a bit more precision. Such as coating his forearm with chakra wherein the Raiton element would being to be infused through the limb from finger tip to the forearm bone. 1/3 Dendou Karyou no Jutsu ======================= Zin would snicker a little as slowly the black chakra began to coat over his hand. Though he learned the concept of the technique with the last one he learned, this one was a bit more difficult and seemed to deserve it's own time for him to learn considering that the technique was making his arm the weapon as opposed to something that was purely concentrated. "Naaaagi~" Zin called out, making the boa's head jut out of the trees to the calling of it's master, "Time for dinner." The child chimed as he locked his eyes fiercely upon the koi. Letting his slitted eyes become focused on the fish and start to get used to it's pattern in how it swam. 2/3 ============================ When Zin's arm soon cackled in black Raiton element at it's purest, he'd wait for his partner to come over before he began to lift up his arm to be pointed like dagger. Waiting patiently before striking out into the small pond with his serpentine prowess that he gained from spending time and observing his pet would have his arm gain a moment of intangibility and extend an extra distance to compensate for the fish jutting off once the surface what was struck. Hitting the fish, whom Zin only needed but a touch to get the fish to feel the effects of the technique before he retracted his hand and flexed his little arm a little watching as the fish struggled against the jutsu while it floated to the bottom. "Give it a bit for the electricity to fully dispense then get you a meal." Zin said before he'd see an array of fish getting latent shocks from the Raiton element and snickered impishly, "I think you'll have quite a feast my Nagi~" He said with a giggle, patting the boa's head who'd wait for the water to be safe before slithering in to start collecting his easy meals while Zin returned to his little cache of techniques that he planned on working on. 3/3

Zin would begin to return back to his scrolls where he'd collect another scroll that came from the assortment pile he brought out with him. This one, would be what he'd utilize to begin working on the art-style of Puppetry. Though his puppet was nothing more than a simple wooden punching tool, it would do until he got the resources to make him something a bit better. Reading over the jutsu, Zin noticed that it was nothing more than a simple summoning. Not that of the living variety that people typically gain once they reach the status of Chuunin, but something that is not sentient. A perfect technique for him in case someone gets close and puts him in an uncomfortable position. 1/2 Kuchiyose Kugutsu: Ichi (One) ============================ The technique wasn't really that complex. He had already built himself a puppet while he was at the Academy. Standard issue after all. Creating a seal with his hands, Zin would focus his chakra to be perfectly molded before a crack would be head and his puppet that was within the Academy would be summoned to him. 2/2

Completing that technique, Zin felt that it was time for him to be a bit challenged. Returning to his pile of scrolls that he collected, he shuffled through the documents until he came to one of the higher level jutsu techniques that he collected to push him a bit; Jibun Teki no Yuujin no Jutsu or Friend of One's Enemy technique. It is supposedly, a technique that once casted, brings the user to seeing their loved ones or people that they have lost to be "reunited" with them in such a way, that may demoralize the opponent. Something that in the world of the shinobi that holds so much traumatizing death, will have to cause quite a pause in his opponent wanting to make an attack. Taking a seat and observing what he needed to do, Zin noticed that in order to trigger the jutsu, he needs to formulate the hand-seals in such at fashion that it would start the hypnosis affect while he's within their LOS. 1/5 ==== Zin would then start to implement and study what fashion in which the technique was manipulated. One being the affected sense of "Touch". That would make sense, as what would be more demoralizing than having the very people you love or have died to be attempting to kill or touch you? This could bring the more mentally unstable shinobi to start to fracture and leave openings. 2/5 ========= The second aspect of the jutsu, was of course "Sight". This was possibly the most important, at least in Zin's eyes. It would mean that he would need to focus on implementing his chakra in the portions of the brain that will trigger the most vivid and harsh visuals based on the memories that the opponent had. If he can manipulate them just right, he may freeze the opponent up just enough to get them perfectly debilitated. 3/5 ====================================== Now was the hard part. Implementation. Zin would wave to Nagi and hiss softly to him to bring Nagi before him. "Nagi, I will need to practice with you. What you may see... Maybe horrific. But I promise I won't have you suffer long." Zin said as Nagi would give an hiss of agreement where upon he would slither before Zin and look his master in the face while Zin locked eyes with his pet and formulated a hand-seal in a slow fashion before snapping his hands into a single seal. 4/5 ==================== Upon formulating the seal and releasing the visually activated Genjutsu, Nagi would find Zin fading away, or rather his visual being obscured by the sight of familiar looking Green Boa's of different sizes and colorations. Each being to his diatribe against the snake that began to make the serpent coil up to the violent hisses that were being placed against it. As if the encroaching snakes were preparing themselves to attack. Before the technique got any more volatile, Zin would smile and place his hand upon Nagi's head and immediately say, "Kai!", to relieve his friend from the illusion and horrors of the technique which stopped the defensive coiling of his pet and lean gratefully into Zin's hand, "I told you I would not allow you to suffer long Nagi. But this technique gives me quite the ideas of what to do to my opponents. I will attack their Frontal, Occipital, and Temporal Lobes with my chakra instantaneously. That should keep them from so easily figuring out the technique." Zin said aloud to Nagi who'd return with his own opinions so that he may give Zin a view of the technique based on someone whose actually been in the jutsu's technique. 5/5

Zin would head back over towards the pile of scrolls that he had, and would prepare himself for learning another technique. One in particularly, that he witnessed the "Masked Men" utilizing when he was under the tutelage of Dr. Mayen. It was a particularly interesting technique that upon binding the opponent, they would utilize the water molecules of the air to surround the head of the opponent, and then begin to forcefully extract information from the individual in a series of echos. Reading through the jutsu, Zin would first prepare himself by looking over the technique's seal which was rather intricate, but at the very least it was only one. 1/5 Mizu Shinmon no Jutsu ================================== As the seal was implemented, he'd get his fingers used to twisting and intermingling them together while focusing his chakra. Rapidly surging his chakra level to be able to manipulate the water molecules in the air at such a level, that it would form the water dome that would ensnare the target's head. 2/5 ==== When Zin started to see that the technique was actually beginning to get easier, or at the very least, he was being able to more easily surge his chakra up to the level required to effectively formulate the technique. With this in mind, Zin would start smacking his fingers together to be interlocked while he hissed out the technique. Creating small goblets of water but they'd dissipate before they'd become anything. 3/5 ================================== The next time Zin formed the seal, the water would start to actually take a spherical look around the a general direction. Though the water goblets were closer, they were still divided into four sections. Leaving the actual technique once more closer than it was his last few tries, but still not quite at the technique. Thinking of taking a small breather, Zin would relax his mind and focus on a point in the air in which he was going to get the water to surround, and hope his second round would change something. 4/5 ========================================= After gathering himself, and his chakra, Zin would push his small fingers into each other and hiss, "Mizu Shinmon no Jutsu!" This time, the water molecules in the air rapidly congregated into one spot and created a sphere that mimicked that which was on the scroll upon someone successfully completing the technique. Nagi hissed in a congratulatory manner to his owner as Zin gave a cheeky, fanged smile. It wasn't an offensive technique, but it was at least something for him to extract information from a target, without having to go through the long drawn out process of talking. 5/5

After the success of one technique, Zin would move on and begin to head towards focusing on another Suiton technique. One that he felt would be a perfect combination to the techniques that he's already learned. Slowly unrobbing himself down to his boxers and placing them on a neat pile to the side of the pond, Zin slowly stepped out into the water and would let the chakra under his feet be dismissed so that he'd submerge into the water. Focusing on trying to strip the oxygen from the water to be breathed as normally as he would at surface levels. 1/4 Suimenka no Kisoku ============================== Zin had to resurface, as despite the simplistic value of the technique, it was much harder to do in practice than what was stated on paper. After all, he was changing the molecular value of the water to suit his needs. This may take a longer time than he originally anticipated. After getting some air, Zin submerged himself back into the water and tried to change the molecular structure which...was starting to beckon to his call, as he stayed under for a little while longer but alas he still had to resurface. 2/4 ======================================= Popping his little head back out of the water, Zin huffed a little seeing Nagi hiss to him in a humorous manner. Almost laughing at his master's attempt to do something that was causing him a bit of difficulty. Giving a soft, venomous hiss, Zin submerged himself back into the water where this time he'd do his best to focus his chakra in a more delicate manner to the surrounding water molecules to be converted. This began to work, but it worked a little too late, considering Zin ad to resurface. But at the very least, it shed light of how he needed to really approach this technique. 3/4 ==================================================== Zin would then give it one last chance, but this time around, make sure that he converted his chakra to be utilized in the surrounding environment in a delicate manner. Whereupon he'd swim into the depths of the water and focus his chakra to surround him in an aggressive yet delicate manner to convert the water molecules into oxygen. This, Zin noticed, was something that seemed to be a rather cumbersome technique after a while. But, he could potentially drown his opponent within water before the technique begins to wane on his stamina too much. 4/4

Raichi finally made it to the Acadmey, and even after all that had happened he managed to make it on time, three minutes early even! Walking through the doors he made his was to the Admin section to let them know he was here. On his way he bumped into a secretary that he remembered from his time here not so long ago. "Yo." He gave her a wave as he passed by. He wasn't expected her to respond to him for they never really got along, but to his surprise she spun around and called out after him. Apparently she was his supervisor for today, at-least until a proper replacement could come and relieve him of his duties. She lead him along the winding halls until they finally stopped outside a pair of closed doors. A loud commotion could be heard emitting from the other side of the doors. The woman slid them apart and stepped into the room. The children instantly calmed down and started to pay attention. She introduced Raichi and informed him that he was a temporary teacher until a proper one arrived. The class groaned and she started to leave, bidding him well wishes before closing the door. Taking a seat behind the desk in the corner of the room Raichi kicked his feet up onto the wooden structure and leaned back in his seat. "Okay, lesson numero uno, the Senju. Who here can tell me about them?" There was a moment of hesitation from the students before one from the front raised their hand. The Genin gave a nod of his head and to his surprise, the little bugger gave quite a detailed response. "Let me guess, you're from the clan aren't you..?" The student nodded and Raichi sighed. Before Raichi could carry on with the studies, he noticed the secretary from before starring at him through the window in the door out of the corner of his eye. He gave a wave and she ducked behind cover, obviously embarrassed that she was caught. He had a feeling that wasn't the last he would see of her today until he was done. "So then, the next lesson will consist of what the Senju are-.." Raichi's sentence trailed off as his attention became focused on a low murmur from the back of the class, more specifically a student next to a window seat who was starring out at the training grounds. He wasn't the only one, other students too were staring at the kid. It didn't take long for the child to notice that he was being watched by the entire class. He quikcly stopped his singing and hid his face in his arms on his desk. "Hey kid, what's your name?" Raichi asked. "Akashi.." The kid replied begrudgingly. "Those were some sick lyrics, wanna try again but louder this time?" The child hesitated before standing up and clearing his throat. "Yo, I'm the most underrated. Everybody say they spitting fire like a dragon, homie, watch me come and slay them. Coming from the basement, double XL, man. I want the cover, there's no way that I'm not in the conversation. I don't have no patience unless it's patients from playing operation. I'm castrating anybody that's hating; I ain't tryna be famous, I'm just tryna make payments from what I'm making, I'm frustrated, 'bout to go Super Saiyan.." There was a moment of silence that fell over the class, Raichi included, until there was an eruption of hype, also Raichi included. "Okay, that was legit. "Okay Akashi, I'll drop the beat and go first, and once I pass it to you I want you to finish it off, think you can do it?" The little bugger gave off a cocky smile and nodded his head. Raichi removed his feet from the desk and sat up straight. Placing his hands atop the desk he awaited the signal that Akashi was ready before beginning to tap his knuckles and corner of his wrist against the top of said desk in a musical fashion. The result was a pretty sick-nasty beat. Taking a deep breath Raichi hesitated, even stopping his beats before jumping right in full force. "Always talk s**t but my breath don't stink. Flow been runnin', better rest my sink. Cookin' these homies, got the recipe. If they mess with me, rest in peace. Got drive like uber, never let the head rest. Mic always on like bald dude with a headset. Hit it 'til she squirt, damn, got the whole bed wet. Rock out like Led Zep." Raichi went to take another breath to continue but before he could Akashi jumped in on that beat. "Uh, one take what I do, who you? Look at your whole crew, I don't know who's who. You look confused, think you need a Blue's Clues. Two girls one cup, you fools is doo-doo. All about business, I need a new suit. For us, by us, my label is FUBU. Microwave a homie if he think he too cool. I'm a misfit like I switched to a new school. Upload a pic to the Gram. Your girl with my d**k in her hand, gross." Raichi couldn't help it, he busted into a hearty laugh and the beat stopped. "You're like ten bro, whatchu doing with those kinda lyrics man." Akashi simply responded, "All I did was follow your lead, Mr. Squirt." Raichi was left sitting there with the look like "you'se right". The secretary from before opened the door to the room to check on what all the commotion was about. Like before, the children calmed down instantaniously which left the woman staring at Raichi. "I guess they are hyped about learning about the Senju haha.." She gave him this whatever look and closed the door before walking off. [[ Substitute Teacher - Rank: C Complete ]]
"Mister Raichi, what about an actual song? Freestyle is cool and all but it's not same." Raichi was a bit surprised by what Akashi had just asked him. "Okay, let's make a song then. I already have a beat and some lyrics laid out. I'll show you what I got, and then we can all work on it together okay?" The class gave their approval. "First off, I want to let you know, the song is about having a good time while being alone, so keep that in mind." Raichi started up a new beat, this time with the help of a pencil, and it was already obvious that this beat was more upbeat rather than thick and heavy like before. "I'm fresh to death, I'm in the zone. I checked my head, but no one's home. The mood is right, the party's on. Looks like tonight, I'll be drinking alone." Raichi was singing in a singsong voice, but after the hook he kicked up the beat a bit more and got a bit less souly with it. "<******** everyone else, I'm a party by myself. Do this s**t all night, I don't need nobody else. ******** everyone else, I'm a party by myself. Higher than a kite, with nobody but myself." It was at this point Raichi kept going with the same beat without singing to indicate it was their time to jump in. The room was silent aside from the sick beats but eventually a child at the front hopped in. "By myself, by myself, by myself, by myself." This seemed right, or rather it just felt right to Raichi, so he started to slowly speed up the beat and the rest of the class joined in singing the same lyrics another four times, making the total eight now. Raichi changed up the beat for the next part of the song and then another student who had been simply enjoying himself before stepped into the limelight. "One more shot, then it's time to roll. Smoke these pots and I'm out the do'. Chug some rock, but I sip Patron." Raichi gave his nod of approval and await for the next set of lyrics. "Hit that spot till you lose control. You died? I'll go out alone. b***h, you must be out your dome." This time Akashi stepped in to give the class a bit more leeway to work with. It worked. "Fresh new kicks, I cut the floor. Ludicrous, I throw them bows. Life of the party got the bitches laughing. Funny on-point, his joke's cracking. Grind on the wall just to get some action. Looking in the mirror like I'm Action Jackson." The double action at the end felt a wee bit weird to Raichi, but it would be fine for now. He was surprised that at kid that looked like that could think of such rhymes. Was this a trouble class? If so it would make a lot of sense. "Cause this is risky, don't try to diss me. I get more p***y than a bowl of Friskies. I roll so low, can't keep up with me. You go home early like you're ******** sixty." Raichi stepped in this time to give some more leeway, as well as to stop them from being the one to use all the dirty lyrics. That should be his job as the adult. "You're coming down my highest peak. And think you're having trouble speaking. You a freak and I like freaking. Me, myself, and I've been drinking." Another child or pre-teen stepped in that had previously been quiet. Good, they were coming along nicely. "Blowing up my soul but I don't think I'm a answer. I'm all by myself so I don't think I'm a answer." Raichi stopped the beats and looked at the kids with an approving look. "It's okay guys. Like Akashi said, making a song is not the same as doing freestyle. I think we did fairly well for what we were working with. I'm proud of you." It seemed that they were not used to positive reinforcement because most of the class tried to hide their embarrassment. Around this time the secretary form before busted in once again, this time saying she had complaints from other classrooms about noise, and that from now on she would personally be sitting in to observe. Something about she wanted to make sure he wasn't disregarding his duties as a substitite teacher like he did his studies when he was here. Raichi rolled his eyes and motioned for her to take a seat. "Now class, who here would like to catch Ms. Nakiri up with the rest of us?" There was hesitation from the studends as well as an uneasy shroud covering the room. They weren't sure if he was being serious or not. The one to step up to the plate was the Senju from before. Luckily he was well versed in this kind of thing, thus he knew exactly what Raichi was looking for. He gave Ms. Nakiri the same very basic standardized, yet slightly more informative response he gave to Raichi at the beginning of class in regards to the Senju. It worked, she seemed impressed. "Now sadly, I myself have not trained in the arts of Doton and Suiton just yet, so I can't teach those of you with said elemental affinities anything. This next bit will be for the Senju present. So far that would be little Isshin over there. If there are any others, please make your way to the front of the class." Aside from Isshin who was already at the front, three other students out of the roughly thirty made their way to the front. Raichi walked out from behind the desk and took a seat on the floor just short of the small group of students. He motioned for them to join him and so they did. "The technique I am about to teach you will be a bit out of your league but don't worry. It will serve as a good foundation for your training. If you start early, you surely will flourish. What I am about to teach you is called the Tree Limb Technique. The Tree Limb Technique, like most of the Senju Clan's jutsu, has versatile uses. The technique creates three to five large roots which erect from the Earth to shield, attack, or shelter the user. Alongside those, many combinations are certainly acceptable, as not all roots needed to do the same thing." Raichi placed his hands together, slowly forming the various seals needed to perform the technique rather than using only one hand. He was sure not all of them were proficient as he when it can to the Clan techniques. With the final seal formed, chakra gathered at his core, before being sent down his legs and into the floor then earth below. His chakra expanded below the earth, controling the roots beneath and enlarging them in size as they erected from the floor. Sending them straight up, he bound them together like a braid to create an even stronger defense. The large root shield stood in front of him now, partially obstructing his body from view so the students could still watch. Removing his chakra, the roots were sent back into the Earth below, returning to their normal state. "This next lesson is for everyone. Yes, even you Ms. Nakiri if you wish to participate. Meditation is fundamental for all Shinobi. It is a crucial step for deepening and nurturing your chakra. Nobody can ever do enough meditation. It also doesn't hurt that it's quite relaxing. So, shall we begin?" Raichi closed his eyes, his thoughts running through the universe, escaping with the winds that lightly struck his face with each passing moment that blew in through the open windows. The Genin informed his students to calm down and empty their minds. Raichi slowly released his breath, lightly feeling his stresses leave as he focused in upon his chakra as it began swirling deep within him. "Like before, this is not something that will have an imediate effect upon you. It's something that will take time, but if continually practiced, will be your saving grace." As his chakra pulsated throughout his diaphragm, Raichi controlled it's precise movement, allowing the focus to shift from his core to his arm. Eventually he allowed his chakra to evenly form a veil around his physical form. Raichi informed the students to the best of his capability on how to achieve what he himself was doing, going out of his way to explain it in a multitude of ways. With each passing breathe, his chakra seemed to pulse, to become more refined. Slowly, the Senju's eyes popped open and he looked around, his eyes dancing from side to side. With a faint smile, he would close them back and continue where he left off, or attempted to at-least. The students were taking this seriously, and even Ms Nakiri too. Riachi would clear his throat and the students along with Ms. Nakiri would stop their meditation. A mischevious grin played across his features as he stole a glance towards his supervisor. "If Ms. Nakiri would allow it, I would like to show you all a high-mid level technique that I believe every shinobi should learn. That technique would be the Shadow Clone Jutsu." Ms. Nakiri started to object but stopped herself short of accomplishing her goal. Raichi had been a decent teacher so far, and what he has taught them was for their benifet and not simply to get a paycheck. Hell, even she was learning something and she had been a ninja longer than he. Semi-reluctantly she agreed to his request. Raichi pulled out the scroll that contained the teachings for the Shadow Clone jutsu and passed it around the class for them to get a first hand experience with what they would be working with in the future. He did his best to answer any questions that they may of had with answers that they should be able to understand. Ms. Nakiri chastised Raichi for taking the scroll without permission but he reassured her he would return it after class. The next portion of the lesson was about teaching them the handseal needed for the technique as well as how to hide it. It didn't take long thankfully, which allowed them to move along with their studies. "Mister Raichi, what is the use of using this technique over the normal clone technique we are currently learning from Mister Todoroki?" Raichi smiled and gave a nod of appreciation. "Excellent question. Let me show you. Is there anyone here who can already do the Clone Technique? If so, please make a clone." A student did so and Raichi went to pull the clone over to himself but his hand went through. "See? The Shadow Clone is a physical clone, even though it disperses in a single hit. The best feature of the Shadow Clone though, is that it can retain information." Raichi made a Shadow Clone and asked a student to tell the clone a number. Once it was done the clone dispersed itself and Raichi said the number given to his clone aloud. The class erupted with awe and amazement. [[ Substitute Teacher - Rank: C Complete ]]
Raichi glanced over his shoulder to look at the clock hanging up on the wall. He had spent the rest of his day at the Academy it seemed. The proper substituted teacher had yet to show up and it was doubtful they would with so little time remaining. With so little time remaining for the schoolday, Raichi decided it was best if he simply recapped what they went over. He along with Isshin recapped what the Senju Clan was capable of. They also recapped the brief history of the clan while they were at it. Next, Raichi went over the seals for the Tree Limb Technique once more and the fundamentals of the technique, answering any questions that they had this go around compared to before. Once this was done, the young Senju Genin rediscussed the importance of Meditation. He went over how it probably the most important thing they could practice on a daily basis and what the benefits would be for doing so. Finally, Raichi went over the Shadow Clone technique once more. He recapped everything they discussed and threw in some extra information that he previously forgot to divulge. He finished in the nick of time too, for as soon as he stopped speaking the bell rang to signal the end of the day. The students thanked him and gathered their things before leaving. Coincidently, that left Ms. Nakiri and Raichi alone in the room. She thanked him sincerely for not only teaching them on such a short notice but for also staying the whole day even though he was only supposed to cover a single lesson. She also thanked him for teaching her a few things too. Taking the Shadow Clone scroll from him, she informed him that when he made it to the front desk to claim his dues for his time he would be well compensated. Upon reching the front desk, Raichi saw that he was paid for the full day and not just the single lesson, as well as having several mission completions added to his record. Before Raichi could leave, the elderly woman behind the desk grabbed his attention and asked for some help in dealing with some gardening problems for her. She usually did the gardening for the Academy but today she wasn't feeling so well, so she was wondering if he could do it for her and she would sign off of some missions for his help. He had already spent most of his day here, a little longer couldn't hurt. He accepted her help and gathred the supplies he needed from a nearby closet. Slipping on the gloves and throwing the pesticide over his back he made his way to the first garden patch. It seemed that someone had already pulled the weeds here, probably another student during break, so he sprayed the surrounding area to kill the unwanted insects before moving on. [[ The Weeds! Arriving at the next garden patch, Raichi could already smell a strong aroma of pesticide. However, looking at the ground he noticed that nothing was wet like it had been sprayed. Upon closer inspection he noticed that there were some plants in this patch that were acting like natural pesticide. Sweet, that saved him some time. The last garden patch looked like a mess. There was clutter from trash, weeds galore, as well as bugs everywhere. It seemed this one got neglected, and that was a shame because it had the prettiest of flowers compared to the other two. First, Raichi cleaned out the trash, bagging it and then taking it to the proper disposal area. Next came the weeds which tore easily so he didn't have to spend much time with them. Next, he picked out the non-harmful bugs and put them in a nearby grassy area before going back and giving the patch a good spraydown. [[ The Weeds! The Weeds! - Rank: D Complete ]]
Raichi made it back to the front desk after putting away his barrowed gear and was greeted with a overlyhappy elder woman. She thanked him repeatedly and slipped some coin into his pocket for his work. As he was about to leave he noticed that she had put a mission completion for each garden patch he had done. She held her word, even though he would have done it for free. With a successful day down the drain, all Raichi wanted to do was go eat some grub and get home and sleep.

Mizu Kagami no Jutsu [ Water Mirror Technique ] Rank: E Raichi was planning on leaving to go get some food, but he felt that he had underwent a transformation of sorts and could learn more than before. Walking off to the part of the Academy he would gather the scrolls needed for the techniques he wished to learn and took them outside to his little hut. Next, he decided that if he were needed again for teaching, he should practice doing so. Thus, he began image training while learning techniques, pretending his was teaching to Ms. Nakiri. Raichi would wave the imaginary Ms. Nakiri over in his mind before bringing a hand to chest level, he would form the tiger seal. "I will honor you with some knowledge in a few Suiton Techniques so that you may relay the information to your original okay? Not only will it be easier than learning from a scroll, but it will also make me feel at ease knowing that she will be more capable in defending herself. Shall we begin? As with all jutsu, you will need handseals. Luckily this one only requires the Tiger seal because of how simple it is. Seeing as how attacking from behind is a great advantage in any fight, this jutsu helps to counter that. Instead of seeing directly above and in-front of you in the reflection of a puddle, using your chakra you can change it to reflect what is behind you and to your sides, ultimately ripping that advantage away from your opponent." And as if on que, he would feed his chakra into the water and as they looked into it, it would show a mirror image of Raichi behind him. His clone had snuck up on them and he was practically impossible to detect had it not been for the jutsu.. Well.. unless they were sensors.
Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu [ Water Shuriken Technique ] Rank: D "Water is one of the most amazing elements because of how well you can chain jutsu and how efficiently they work together." Forming a few more seals he would hold the last one before glancing at the imaginary Ms. Nakiri. "On the same subject as before, with their new disadvantage, you gain a greater advantage, and you would be a fool not to utilize it like so." As his chakra bled into the water once more several shuriken composed of his chakra and the lake water would fly up and rip into the clone's limbs before dispelling into a mist after they had done their damage. "Almost every time it is guaranteed that your opponent will not expect an attack from you when you can't even see them, even more so if they believe they are in your blindside. That jutsu there was the Mizu Shiriken no Jutsu. By bleeding your chakra into the water and molding it with it, you can create several razor sharp weapons at your disposal that can attack from anywhere. However, they disperse after they do their job, hit or miss and you must make more."
Suirou no Jutsu [ Water Prison Technique ] Rank: C "With your opponent now stunned or mid-retreat, you can turn and make use of their break in guard." Running through the necessary seals with his hand, Raichi turned ninety degrees and outstretched his arm, fingers curled in slightly as if cupping something on a woman's voluptuous figure. In just a moment water rapidly swirled around the clone and came to a central meeting point just above its head and formed the complete sphere prison. "You have to remain in contact with the water for the technique to stay active. Normally you would make a bunshin to fight for you while you are stuck here, but since our bloodline has very special clones that can take a helluva beating, you can simply have a clone come out of your body and perform the technique, or simply switch places with it so you can go on the offensive, not having to worry about a one-hit kill on your shadow clone or other form of clones."
Mizu Oni Kuike [ Water Demon’s Appetite ] Rank: C "If by the slight chance you thought, 'What if I wanted to kill him? That would mean releasing him and giving him an opening to retaliate!' Not quite. You could follow up the Water Prison technique with the Water Demon's Appetite technique, a skill which utilizes the water around the opponent for it to work. Below the opponent, a head made of water emerges and tries to swallow up the opponent, having sharp dagger like teeth. If the initial chomp misses the opponent, a tongue will emerge to wrap around the opponent to try and pull them back under for a second attempt." On que with his sentence ending, the Senju male formed the proper seals and funneled his chakra into the water below. In just a moment a shadow had appeared below them and contained two brightly glowing red orbs. The shadow grew in size as it got closer to the surface and quickly broke the water at a high speed. The head resembled that of a demon and released this type of diabolical aura. As its jaws started to close rapidly, Raichi began to remove his hand, only releasing the water prison on the clone at the last possible second before his hand would of been taken, his hand raising to his face and brushing the hair from his eyes as the head sank back into the deep, the clones screams soon becoming nothing but air bubble that traveled to the surface and popped. Just from that display it was pretty obvious Raichi was pretty confident in his abilities, but that's not all; it also showed his trust in his abilities and himself, and that he lacked what would be the fall of most shinobi... fear. That or he was just showing off for a pretty woman. "Of course you don't have to perform these techniques in that order specifically. You could go from the Mirrored Surface tech to the Water Demon's Appetite. You could also perform the Water Shuriken technique to cause your opponent to evade and at that time, have a clone use the Water Prison tech or even the WDA. The combinations with Suiton are nearly endless and all of them are sure to be efficient."
Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] Rank: D The young Senju male would give off quick rare smile as he accepted the imaginary praise, his cold as steel voice replying, "Thank you, Nakiri-senpai." The thought made the male chuckle slightly before he tried to imitate what he imagined Nakiri would sounds like if she were to ask him, "Raichi-kun~ Could you train me more in Suiton pweeeeaaaasseeee~?" The little joke made him laugh a bit more. Once the laughter subsided he gave the imagination a nod, "Yes, I suppose I can teach you some more. We will continue with Suiton for now, and after I will teach you some Doton. Sound good?" Bringing his hand back to chest level his fingers would curl and form into the Tiger seal as his eyes met with hers. "This technique is of utmost useful, especially with another technique that I will teach you at a later time. This is called the Mist Vision Technique. You funnel your chakra into your eyes and imagine picking picking apart mist, steam, or any other condition caused by water in the air. You don't have to do this every time however. Once learned, it acts as a passive and will activate whenever your vision would be otherwise obstructed by mist."
Suimenka no Kisoku [ Breathing Underwater Technique ] Rank: D Releasing his hand back to his side he would motion towards the water where his clone would arise from the depths and kneel atop the water with several gashes and lacerations across it's body, breathing normally as if it had went for a leisurely stroll even through it had been down there a good five minutes. "This technique is called Underwater Breathing. To perform it, you use chakra to remove oxygen from the water. How deep you can go depends entirely on your abilities though. The technique will activate once you breath in water and requires no hand-seals, another form of a passive ability so to speak."
Takitsubo no Jutsu [ Waterfall Basin Technique ] Rank: C Reaching chest level with his hand once more, he would start to form the needed seals before gathering his chakra and sending it down through his feet into the earth below. It took a few moments but the ground started to rumble and just like that, water shot out from the ground and started to spray into the air around them quite fiercely. "This jutsu is called the Waterfall Basin Technique. With this, you need to send your chakra into the ground and grab a water source that is hidden away. From there, you will command your chakra up and with it will come the water source. You can create all kinds of water sources with this technique. For this demonstration though, I only made a few sprinkler systems."
Mizu no Yaiba Rendan [ Water Blade Barrage ] Rank: B With his free hand, Raichi would wave his clone away and it would sink back down into the water and hover just below the surface so it was still fully visible. "The Water Blade Barrage technique is used to severely damage if not kill your opponent while they are under. And just like before, can be used in combination with the Water Demons Appetite technique. Once your victim is submerged, you will feed your chakra into the water and create water blades all around them. With that, you will use your chakra blades to slice and dice your opponent from various sides, cutting open their bodies and leaving terrible, fatal wounds." Forming the Tiger seal he would gather chakra at his feet and leak it into the water below where several blades formed around the clone, some looking like katana's and others meat cleavers. Once they were created he began to control them, hacking away at his clone, leaving large gashes in it's body before two of the blades both connected center mass and sliced the clone clean in half, splitting it right across the midsection where it separated and turned into wood before sinking into the darker water below.

Once he was lowered into the ground and would kick his way to behind the imagination of Nakiri and then 'swim' up. As he rose from the ground he would snake his arms around the imagination's figure and pull it into a tight hug before resting his chin on it's shoulder, voice but a soft whisper in her ear, "Gotcha~" Raichi would chuckle slightly before releasing the clone from his grasp he would stride back in-front of her where he was before.
Bakuyaku Iwa Kawarimi [ Explosive Stone Body Replacement ] Rank: C Glancing around the Senju male would look for a boulder of sorts, one about the size of him. Off in the distance he would spot a nice sized piece of rock that he assumed was there from debris from another Doton user. Nonetheless, it was what he needed. Taking a few steps away from the imagination of his senpai he would throw up a Tiger seal. "This technique is called the Explosive Stone Body Replacement. It's similar to the technique I assume you learned at the Academy before graduating. Instead of just whatever fits your size, you need a rock or boulder at-least half your size." Spreading his chakra throughout the area it would reach the boulder and in a second the two would immediately switch places followed by smoke coiling around both of them. Leaning down he would pick up a nice fist sized rock and hurl it at the rock. The stone soared through the air and made a hard impact on the rock. Light would fill the area followed by a loud BANG and a big kickback of dust and dirt and a nice breeze. Walking back over to the imagination he was teaching he would begin, "This technique not only switches you with the boulder, but it turns it explosive with about the power of five explosive tags at once. If your opponent is not careful, they would definitely lose more than just a limb."
Doryuu Jouheki [ Earth Style Rampart ] Rank: B Raichi would bend his knees slightly before leaping back through the air and landing on the other side of the lake. Bringing his hand back to chest level he would form the necessary hand-seals and bleed his chakra into the ground. The ground would begin to rumble and shake fiercely as if the Earth was trying to rip itself in half. In the time of a few moments however, a giant wall of dirt, rock, and stone would rise from the ground that equaled the distance of the lake and stretched as far back as the cliff-face behind it. Performing another set of seals, There would be the sound of water gushing about rapidly. In a few seconds the recently made wall was overflowing with water, the shimmering blue liquid rush over the top of the earthen wall and cascading down and crashing into the lake. It was obvious now Raichi had created a massive waterfall. Leaping from his perch and landing down on the water, he would make his way over to the imagination. "That is the Earth Style Rampart technique. Once you bleed your chakra into the ground it allows you to rip apart a large earthen wall from the ground and raise it to suit your needs. And like I displayed, it can be combined with the Waterfall Basin technique to create well.. a waterfall." Raichi would then go on to re-explain the seals to the imagination encase she didn't see them from being so far away.

Although the technique isn't as specific as some would like, being as you can't tell who it is that is moving, but the range can cover up to a half a mile. So it's especially good when in enemy territory." Raichi went on to explain how she would need to blend her chakra into the earth and the best way to make it go faster so she could get the intel quicker, thus giving her more time to react in dire situations. Kisuke walked into the classroom with Fang, it seemed that the teacher was sick with some bad sushi. So he was asked to take care of the class for that session. It was a fairly short session about animal partners and thier benefits. Since almost all shinobi have the ability to have at least 1 animal partner. They should know the benefits and disadvantages to owning one. Kisuke introduced himself to the class and they returned with a greeting. He began with the basics of animal partners and the Inuzuka clan. The Inuzuka clan has been a part of Konoha for a long time. Thier bond with thier animal companions is basically unmatched. They are able to comminucate even though they don't speak the same languages. The animal partner is able to understand commands given by the shinobi and vice versa.
Inuzuka also have the ability to Korabo with thier partner without more intensive training. If a partner is involved in a korabo the new technique is instantly raised 1 rank. While this can be accomplished with more training for Non-Inuzuka, it just goes to show how powerful the bond between the two partners is. He then introduced fang to the class, even though he was much larger he let them know he was pretty harmless to them. Fang walked around and all the younger kids got a chance to pet him. He even ran into one of the other Inuzuka kids and thier partners. After he was done he returned to Kisukes side. And with that thier time was up and he had to go. He thanked the class and waved goodbye as the next teacher walked in.

Kisuke was asked to come in the next day to teach that hour of class again, it seemed like the teacher had a serious illness and would be gone for quite some time. The children really seemed to enjoy his class the last time so they though it would be okay for Kisuke to come in once and a while so he could teach the children about Tamers. They asked him to teach of Korabo today, which was something he partly mentioned last time he was teaching. He agreed to do the class on Korabo. Kisuke walked into the classroom as all the young students fell silent and sat at thier desks. They had expected thier old teacher to be back but they saw Kisuke instead. They all began to smile since they had fun in his last class. Kisuke greeted the class and then they greeted him as well. He let them know thier teacher would be taking a little more time off. He had been assigned to teach the students more about Korabo. He first explained what Korabo was. Two jutsu users falling into a sync with each other allowing them to mix and stack thier jutsu with one another. This is something that must be trained with the individual person for every rank and combo ranks. He then asked the class if they knew anyone who was an exception to the rule? Many of them raised thier hands eagerly attempting to answer. Kisuke choose one student to answer his question. He said the Inuzuka, Kisuke informed him that was correct. Like he had mentioned before the Inuzuka due to thier strong bond with thier animal are able to Korabo with thier partners without additional training. It might be said that its because usually the partners are raised together that they are able to sync so easily. He had been explaining things so much he didn't notice the hour go by. He dismissed his class so they could go to lunch.

Kisuke came by the next day for another class, this would probably be the last one before the exams that he could show up. He needed to prepare for the exams himself anyways. So he walked in and the students stood up. As he arrived at his desk the students bowed and Kisuke bowed to them. They seemed pretty excited for his class. Last time he went over Korabo, and before that he went over the Inuzuka.
This time he was going to go over the tamer shinobi. He began to tell them that even though Inuzuka were known for thier partners and taming partners. That didn't mean they were the only people who did so. Many shinoi dedicated thier lives to work alongside there partners who were not part of the clan. These shinobi were known as Tamers, the same as Inuzukas. Though they shared the same goal, being an Inuzuka did have advantages which they heard about in the last lessons.
Inuzuka asked if they had any such tamer in the room. One boy raised his hand up slowly. He asked him what partner he had and he told him he had a snake. Kisuke was very interested in that partner. That was one thing that the Inuzuka couldn't have, He told them that Inuzuka need to have partners with 4 limbs. Something like a snake had zero, so they were not a suitable partner.
The class seemed very interested in the rare pet that even Inuzukas wouldn't partner with. He explained to the class it was simply because they were incompatible with thier clans jutsu. But a Tamer spends his life training and working with said partner can make him just as powerful as another partner. That was it for that day he bowed to the class and headed out.
