Showerstar sat outside his den as he watched Whitewind and Rainpaw.
He yawned another time before staring at The ground, lost in his thoughts.

Whitewind lets out a purr.
"Very good. That cat scent is Waterclan. Be sure to remember. It'll be easier after a few more patrols."
He taps her shoulder lightly with his tail, encouraging her, then begins to pad down the border, agian with an easy pace. Silentcloud pads up to his leader silently, noding his head a little in greeting.
"Hello Showerstar. Is everything alright?" he asks carefully, keeping his eyes and voice neutral.

Rainpaw sniffed the air a few more times to make sure she remembered Waterclan's scent and ran off after Whitewind. When she saw he was with Showerstar, she skidded to a stop, nearly hitting the two older cats. "S-sorry Whiewind, Sorry Showerstar." she mewed.

Showerstar lifted his gaze to his deputy.
"I believe so." He meowed. "Rainpaw will be officially apprenticed
today." He meowed, his Golden eyes showing pride in his growing clan.

He looks at his leader, eyes slightly narrowed, an unknown emotion hidden behind his calm gaze.

As Rainpaw and Whitewind were padding along the border, Rainpaw scented mouse. "Mouse" she whispered and tried to determine where the scent was coming from.

"No. I thought I'd surprise them when they return." He meowed.

Silentcloud nods his agreement.
"Anything else? I have to ready the next border patrol soon."
Whitewind nods, letting out another encouraging purr.
"Very good. See, your doing fine. Keep this up and you'll be a warrior in no time." he whispers, sitting down to give Rainpaw a chance to try and tell where the scent is comming from.

Rainpaw let out a small purr and scented the air again. She realized that the scent was coming from a nearby bush. She dropped into a crouch and slowly headed towards the bush. When the mouse popped it head out of the bush, Rainpaw pounced onto it and gave it a swift bite in the neck. She turned around with the mouse in her mouth and padded to Whitewind. She dropped it in front of him. "For you" she mewed.

"Exellent!"
Whitewind lets out a loud purr, his golden eyes full of pride. He looks at her for a moment, caught up in himself, then glances at her mouse, gently pushing it toward her with his paw.
"Its your catch, you eat it. I appreciate the offer, but I would never eat another cats prey. You go ahead." he says encouagingly agian, totaly at ease and slightly astounded by the young apprentices skill.
