"It would be, if you're the kind of person who needs to know where people are," Ryushi said.

The docks were full of people moving between boats, hauling cargo on sledges and backs and animals. Full of people waiting for voyages to start out, full of people getting sick over the edges of boats. The last part sort of killed the mood of expectation for Ryushi. "We find someone who's going to... wherever your island is."

Azur eventually wandered into the temple courtyard, enjoying the cleanliness of the area and the nicely sheered hedges and bright blooming flowers.

There were a few other people within the area - none that she recognized however.

"All the way south," she said, a distant look on her face, "and I doubt there's anyone going there, no one ever goes there.......the waves are too dangerous, the whirlpools too close together, and too few reasons to go in general......there's a reason it was named "Ocean-blood"...."

Ryushi's expression grew taught, doubtful, as he listened to her. He began to think, though nothing particularly helpful came to mind at the moment.

"Then how did you manage to get here?" he asked, turning away and looking at a few ships moving through the docks. "That seems like an awfully long way to swim."

(( ^^;; Forgive me, haven't been myself lately. You can ask my rear end for proof. No joke. >.>;; Try having shots for the past couple weeks because they can't find any other place with a lot of meat. ~~;; How rude...don't they know that s**t hurts like hell. ~~;; Anyway. I'm done with that horrible thing. Now I'm on some nastey huge pill that I have to break in half it's so big. And your right Sunny, it is morning. >.>;; Hey I've been drugged for weeks, then sleeping most of the day. I'm entitled to some boo boos. >.>; wink )

Celestra found her spot.
The crossroads of mana, the ley line.
Where many lines crosses each other, becoming something like a node at the center.
It wasn't power that she really needed.
The ley lines helps one to travel though it like a road of sorts.
But much faster and instantanious.
"Here we are little one. A crossroad. We'll get there faster though this. Mmm. I think...they are something like that in your place? A physical way of transportation. What was it called again? T-train?"
Tapping her chin, "Hmm, wonder if your people has found the flying ship yet? Even if they did, it would be a long while before they figure out how to use it? Well...if I'm to reintroduce the lost knownledge, I'll wait to see how your people will act with it. And put it to good use, and not a war fare material."
Pulling something out of her earrings. A couple of colored crystal orbs that acts like fashionable beads.
"Ah here, this key should do. Ready little one. It'll be a bit nausiating at first and some dispostion, but it isn't dangerous. Now, just picture the place in your mind. And I'll tap into your memories to get there."
Caressing her hair softly.
"I won't pry into your mind little one, just the direction only. So make sure you think of it clearly as I start the spell eh?"

Raising the orb like objects as a booster of sorts, the chants begin.

"Goddess, I, your Avatar, bounded by the holy contract. Bounded to the law to the mother of mana, Lilith. Grant me access to your forbidden magics. Allow me access to Mana of the Earth and Air. Bind them together for instantaneous travels!"

The air around them started to spin and get heavy.
The earth below them opened up.
Green blue glowing lights were visible and moving like a stream both up and down.
The mana attached to the temple were flowing around, visible to those that can see or sense it.
Like dancing little sprites being summoned that speaks it's language.

"Here we go, hold on to me, don't want you to flow elsewhere if you get yourself lost."

Smiling softly as little voices starts to tickle the ears.
Voices of the two mana's, even that of water that lives abudently here.
Welcoming a breathern to Lilith. And an Avatar to a goddess. She was something they respected. For who she represnts rarely pick a human associate to do their biddings willingly.

"I have my ways of getting to places I need to be...." she said lightly. She'd tell him what he needed to know when he needed to know it and not before, she didn't need him thinking she was attached to him for some reason or anything.

"Well, the place we need to be is your little village," said Ryushi shortly. His doubtful face was progressing into a frown. "So unless this is a one person way of getting around, I'd rather not look for a boat going somewhere that sane people don't sail to."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 07, 2006 4:19 pm

"Oh, we could sail there, if we had a death wish, which I do..." she said the second part under her breath so he couldn't hear her. She looked up at him again, "I could take you there the way I got here, but it would require a bit of effort on your part," she said, "How good are you at manipulating water mana?"

"I'm as good at it as I am with any, if not a little better," he said. "And better than usual, too," he added, though he didn't say why. "Why? We're not going to float ourselves there, are we?"

"Why didn't you mention all this back at the temple?" he asked as an afterthought, without waiting for her to answer.

"Because it wasn't important," she said, brushing his question to the side. "I suppose we're going to have to do this the hard way," she sighed, raising her arms. A semi-hard surface appeared on the water surrounding the boat and she stepped onto it. "Well," she said to him, "let's go."

stare (( Hmm, I need Sunny to tell me where in the area we are to land. ))

Soon with a feeling of falling down a deep hole they are plunged into the mana flow.
The feeling of great speed, and an icy sensation to the skin envelopes around them.
There is no light, no sound, smell, none of the senses works here, because here is no where. A simple void that they are currently going though.
Moments later, what seems like forever.
Everything comes to a stop.
The warmth of the sun suddenly graces their faces.
The air, the smell of the place different from the orginal place they were in.
Not so hot, or wet. But it was a bit windy.
They open their eyes. Finding themselves not by the temple but a whole different place.
"Is this..your country little one?"
Looks around. It was a strange place. There are some form of technology of sorts left. Ancient machinas. Truley a strange place for Celestra. For someone from the cold mountains.
" . . . The mana flow is weaker here then the other place. . .But. . . there are still some, waiting to be reopened for use. Deep down within the Earth. . . ah. it must have dugged itself deeper when it was replenishing itself."

Ryushi's frown returned to that doubtful, taut-lipped expression as he stepped on it. "Great. A disk... This'll be a while, won't it?" he asked in a tired voice. Then, a realization. "Where are you storing the mana to do this?" he asked, curious.

((Yo Sunny! I'll be at the Dashna thread!))

Iro smiled slightly at Ryu's questions. "Yes," she said lightly, still slightly amused, "it will take a while, so I'd make myself comfortable if I were you." She silently willed the solid surface to move forward, then addressed his second question, "as for the mana, a sword isn't the only thing sheath will hold..."

"No, they'll hold daggers too," he joked lightly, before sitting down, with his right leg propping up his arm. "As a matter of curiousity, how is this disk going to be any safer than getting a boat?"

The man on the barge simply waved cheerfully at them as they went away, not seeming surprised at all that they were floating. He turned back to his work. "Ah, those kids. I wish I had that much mentalist power."
