"s**t happened, trainee. Now we deal with it."
She gave the demon trailing her a look that was one part relief, one part pity, and moved on to Team Unicorn. Planting her sword down in the ground, she went to work with the gentleness of an angel and the temperament of a saint. "C'mon," Kick-kick-nudge, "...ripe young Candy darling. Do you really want H to give you an examination? In that outfit? And you...guy....Jerry." Kickkick-poke. "Move it. Up. Monsters are wandering around, molesting your womens, polluting your crops." She paused at Harrison, fished around in her robes for a moment, and then produced a bright pink Hello-Kitty bandage. She quickly slapped it on his forehead before giving him a particularly vicious kick to the side, "Wake up, Harrison."
Noticing the other trainees trailing out of the tent, she gave it a look of quiet apprehension before giving them a nod of approval. "Anything that looks dire should be taken to the infirmary tent," thankfully still standing, "...everything else? Walk it off. I know most of you just had your battle cherry well and truly popped, but any second-guessing and soul searching needs to wait until we get back home."

Tika just stayed still while a team of random hunters gave her a look over. She was fine apparently. They hadn't stayed long. That was just fine by Tika though.
"Don't worry bout me," Her eyes were closed, "Just go find Ariane. I can just lay here a little longer. If you want to be some help get some tylenol or something." The teen winced. Talking to much wasn't a good idea.
The headache was making her just a tad on the bitchy side.
Thank god Atti was being quiet right now. Her head couldn't take the annoyance.

[ entering from the tent ]
Gale was not injured in the least; at least, not physically, except for the fact that he felt slightly lightheaded. But he arrived back in the backyard moments after the incident had happened and just in time to see Clarice waking up the unconscious Hunters quite gracefully.
"Bix," Gale said, making his way over to the white haired young man. He ducked down and grabbed for Tika's wrist - she had helped him when he had needed it, after all, and it would be only fair to return the favor, however small and insignificant it was.
"You guys all right?" he asked, once they were all back on their feet and Tika had been taken aside by a few of the trainees "Where's Boss?"
Gale raised his voice to a shout. "BOSS!
"ARIANE!"

"I... okay. Deal with it. Yeah." Madison took a deep, shaking breath and tried to focus past the headache. Robert and Petra were laying next to her, and Jordan was a little ways away - she could even see Jerry and the rest of his team. There were others here too now, like Bix and Gale... but where was Ennea? A sudden stab of panic hit Madison hard as she realized there was no bright pink hair anywhere to be seen.
"Ennea?" she cried out as she staggered to her feet. "Ennea! Where are you?!" She couldn't get the image out of her head - Ennea's weapon, in its unsummoned form, laying on the ground ignored as the younger Hunter cried in frustration. If Ennea hadn't grabbed her weapon in time when all hell broke loose...

Harrison came to and groped for his Luigi hat with a vague sense of deja vu. He half-expected to be in the pod again. Instead, hovering over him, was maybe the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Clarice was a welcome sight too. Holy s**t. That was the biggest- stabbiest- glowing pinkest weapon possible. You couldn't get more of those things packed into one object than that. He felt, at that moment, as if he could die, because there was maybe nothing in the world worth seeing. Except maybe seeing it in action.
B0nez made a sad, electronic hum.
"Not yet," Harrison gritted out.
There was another sound.
That's more like it.
"I'm up," he said, fitting the hat over the bandage.

Barth stayed meekly quiet out of something very like terror. He felt...off accompanying somebody waking other somebodies up. The adage let sleeping Cerberus lie was one he felt very strongly about.
Not strongly enough to risk his neck over it.
At least Clarice's sword seemed large enough. If he sort of slouched and stayed quiet, maybe nobody would have to notice him at all. This tactic had never worked for him in the past, but he very much hoped it might now.

"aAahhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT THE ******** someone just PINCHED HIM AWAKE? Robert rubbed his poor, undeserving chest, and pulled his shirt out to check - yes, he had lost some precious chest hair, DAMNIT CLARICE!
He took a second to gain his bearings, before wrapping his arms around the body that was still on his chest, and sitting up. He turned, looking at Madison with complete, and utter confusion.
".. did we win?"

Madison whirled, blinking back tears - the sight of Robert looking up at her was one of the more reassuring things she'd seen in a long, long time. "Thank god you're okay," she whispered, then brushed her hair away from her face. "I... I don't think we did, I... Boss is here, Jerry too, I just can't find Ennea... Ennea!" she cried out once more, her heart pounding.

Jerry groaned as he was suddenly prodded awake, and instinctively picked up the silly red hat he had gotten from Candace, resting it on his lap as he slowly crawled upright. What... on Earth had happened? He was just about to go into the fray when... lights out.
Candace- Candace! Where was she?? He glanced around frantically, skimming for any sight of her when he spotted their superior rousing Harrison. Well... well, good, Harri was alive, so Candace had to be around here som-
"CLARICE, SIR, LOOK OUT! THERE'S ONE BEHIND YOU!" He suddenly wailed, scrambling until Roar was firmly in his hands and locked on the lurking, half hidden but definitely *horned* demon behind her.

"Oh, err, no, I'm not- err," Barth squeaked, doing his best to position himself well-behind Clarice, "what do you humans use for cease-fire?"

Giving Madison a measuring stare, Clarice nodded, "Good." Hearing Harrison wake up her eyes slid back in his direction, "Also goo-" she paused. Why the hell was he looking at her sword like that? "...good. Probably. JERRY STAND DOWN. This one's under control." She held up the red pendant. "It's fine. Really. See to Candy."
Turning her head to stare at her captive, the assistant couldn't help but sigh. "It's fine. Really. Just...keep close until they shake the adrenaline rush."
She gave the tent another glance, and then back to the demon, and finally to the slowly awakening field of trainees that had wiped so very...very easily. "Alright, so good news! You're all alive..." Remembering the calls for Ennea, she continued, "..probably. Now for the bad news: with the exception of the half-dead looking demon here, he's not really dying don't let him fool you I already checked, we've lost our captives. We need to get them back and possibly a few more to make you...us, less pathetic looking than our recent performance would suggest."
Taking a seat one the ground, she used her weapon as a convenient backrest, "Finish waking up your comrades. You can either go back into the house and try to find some asses to kick, or you can come to me with any other plans you may have concerning our current state of affairs." She paused, and then continued, with reluctant honesty. "I would suggest avoiding both Caelius and Dr. H for the time being."

[Entering from the tent]
Ennéa squinted and paused outside of the tent to let her eyes adjust from the gloom of the tent to the light outside. She wobbled a bit but leaned on her axe for support, closing her eyes and just focusing on breathing.
That was when she heard a familiar voice bellowing.
Her head snapped up, was that Robert? Her eyes darted around the battlefield looking for the hulking older phoenix. Ennéa didn't immediately spot him, but now that she was paying attention, she could could see Maddie standing some distance away and calling her name.
"Maddie...?" Ennéa breathed and then she was off bounding towards her fellow teammate. "Maddie!!" She shouted.
The older girl was facing away from where she was but Ennéa didn't care. She plowed into her friend and wrapped her arms around Maddie's waist, utterly heedless about the axe she was still holding.
Ennéa's throat was so tight she couldn't say anything but she fiercely hugged her friend as tightly as she could.

That look on Maddie's face broke his heart. He reached out and pulled the girl to his side, dragging her across the ground as he did so. The mention of a missing Ennea had him feeling a little sick with worry, but he wouldn't have much time to let the feeling sink in. The perky hunter was already on her way over, and Robert had to reluctantly let Madison go so they could have their sweet little girly reunion.
He hugged Petra tighter to him, and eyed the grounds for Jordan. "Where's the boss?"

Madison took a deep breath, relaxing momentarily into the comforting warmth of Robert's friendly embrace. "T-thanks," she mumbled, then suddenly tensed as she heard her name being called. Robert let her go and-
She stumbled forward as something hit her from behind, and a jolt of adrenaline thrilled through her. Kouki hissed, startled - and then she realized that she was being hugged, not attacked. "Ennea! Thank god," she managed, forcing the words past the sudden lump in her throat. And whoa hi there axe that thing was awfully close to her head...
"Hey, uh, axe," she stammered. "Ennea, what happened?" She heard and registered Clarice's words as well, lifting her head to focus on the woman. She nodded once, in silent agreement. She wasn't sure what they could possibly do - what she could possibly do - but a slow anger was starting to rise. This was how it had always been in the past; the monsters just did whatever they felt like, then left. And now they had weapons and training and everything, and... it was just going to be like always despite that?
Oh hell no.
"We'll get some back for you, or di- uh, get hurt trying," Madison said in Clarice's direction, before she turned and embraced Ennea properly.
"Jordan's over there," she added, to Robert, another stab of worry twisting her stomach - but Clarice had just said they were all alive. So he had to be okay, right?

Ennéa hung on to Maddie and tried to recover her composure. Now that the adrenalin was starting to wear off she found herself shaking. "I-I'm okay." She lied.
At Maddie's warning about her axe, she guilty let go of the other girl and took a step away, shouldering Baraz. "Sorry." She mumbled, sniffling.
Ennéa ignored Maddie's question. She didn't want to think about the chaos of the battle field and watching all four of her fellow squadmates collapse, leaving her alone. Instead, she hugged Robert. "I'm -- I'm so glad you guys are okay!!" She wailed.
Ennéa squeezed the larger hunter and even shyly gave Petra a quick hug before happily hugging Maddie again. She wasn't paying the least bit attention to the discussion the other hunters were having with Clarice but she perked up at the mention of Jordan's name. "Jordan's okay?" She butted in hopefully.

((ENTERING FROM TENT))
Jude wandered out of the tent mostly on his own, he looked a bit glum for the moment though he didn't particularly converge with any of his fellow Hunters at the moment - it seemed they were regrouping and in some cases waking up rather roughly.
His arms folded over his chest as his head tilted a bit downward, he felt a bit of disappointment in his lack of ability to keep any of the specimens around but oh well, nothing to do but to try again, right?
She uttered a soft unimpressed yawn in his mind, 'Don't be a pout face, My Jude is too pretty for that.' Yom murmured quietly trying to soothe his agitation.
He just waved a dismissive hand at a voice only he could hear.
