"Daelen? No, No, that's my cousin also. He runs a ferry on the other side of town. It's called 'Daelen's Cheap Hover-Ferry.' It's off Main Street near the East Gate of Gambino Port." The dwarf looked at him strangely, "How exactly do you a-know his name, anyways?"

"The Jewel of Nirrador? Dorlen gave you the Jewel of Nirrador!?" The dwarf realized something then.

"You must be a great warrior for Dorlen to trust you like that." He sighed, hating the fact that his relatives had died, "I should explain. I didn't like the dwarf's a-life, so I left that cave long ago. Daelin came with me, but seeing as he likes adventure and I like gold, well... you get the idea. Still... that doesn't mean that I like hearing about their deaths. Dorlen always travelled with his a-nephews, a brown bearded dwarf and a black bearded one? They were also blood."

He shook his head, closing his eyes.

"He knew you would not fall. That's why Dorlen trusted you with this assignement. But I warn you, Daelen will not want to become Clan Elder. He's a louse. A lazy louse. If you could get him away from that ferry service, maybe then he'd finally take that yoke around his neck."

The dwarf turned back and smiled gruffly, "Thank you for your honesty. I don't think I got your name?"

"Well, it was good to meet you, Revan. I am Dr. Khalukik." He bowed politely and then said, "Now I need to make sure your companion is in working condition after the truggle he put up. I wish you well on your journey."

He started to walk away, but then stopped, "Don't go alone, by the way. It's a dangerous road. I know you may be a powerful wizard or maybe a skilled warrior, but I have seen some skilled bandits in this area. Be careful."

Dr. Khalukik walked away to check the readings they got on Bolt, to determine how best to help him.

The nurse returned to Keioko and tapped her quietly, "Miss, we don't allow animals in here." She motioned to a tired puppy at Keioko's feet. It was curled up next to the bed and chair. It was the dwarf's puppy, obviously having heard about the Hospital. It had followed Revan earlier, and somehow got into the Hospital and found them. "You'll have to take him outside," the nurse said.

The nurse stamped her foot and huffed, "Fine..."

She walked out and the puppy whimpered, "It was so hard to find you..."

THe puppy opened it's eyes and licked it's lips.

"I only found you because you said you were going to the hospital. This the hospital my Master stopped at before, when visiting brother. Was like you didn't want anyone to follow you. Covered your tracks well."

"Them too?" He meant Bolt and Revan.

The puppy didn't understand. He tilted his head oddly and barked, "And you not take me?" The dog walked over to the doorway and looked out into the hallway, then it turned around and barked, "Other guy smell like master."
