"I will have my revenge." Demetri watched as she left, shaking his head as he sat down on the mattress. Stretching his arms, he began to grow back to normal size. He frowned, shaking his head and unbuttoning the shirt the fox demon had given him. Other than that, he also unrolled the cuffs on the pant legs and shook them out. The clothes essentially fit him in either form, which was why he'd chosen those pants. He leaned back against the pillows, glaring bitterly up at the ceiling. "Damnit," he growled. Nothing was going according to plan.

Lunora changed into her fox form and trotted down to Jethrow's room and nudged the door open. She walked in and transformed back and looked at Jethrow. "I'm sorry I was gone. But I have a boy with me and I want to make sure he won't be a threat." she said, unaware on how just completely exhausted and frail she looked.

There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow jumped a little from where he sat, the scrying potion he was using moving out towards the wall. He looked over at Lunora, raising his eyebrow. He glanced over his shoulder at Anya for a moment. "Not a problem," he said quickly, standing and waving his hand so the chair he'd been sitting in came towards her. "You look like a ghost," he stated bluntly, crossing his arms and tilting his head. "You say you have a boy with you?"

Lunora gratefully took the chair, sitting down. "Yes. I do. I ran into him while I was out." she spoke, rubbing her head a little. She was tired, but she wanted to boy checked first. Don't want to be sleeping with the enemy. "He's in my room right now. Hopefully asleep..."

"I will have my revenge." Demetri finished counting everything he possibly could on the ceiling in very little time and began to glance around the room, taking in random details he might use against the fox demon. Shaking his head irritably, he closed his eyes and searched for Anya's consciousness. She must have healed Jethrow's wound farther than I anticipated, he thought, realizing she was still fast asleep. He'd known she wouldn't be able to let the old man die, Demetri's orders or not. That was exactly why the wizard had told her to merely stab him, not directly kill him. Such an order would have cost him her powers, and he couldn't have that. Then again, now that I've escaped my prison, I need only raise my strength and fight Jethrow myself, leaving me no need for the half-breed. Once I've defeated Jethrow finally, I can force them all to be my servants. That would give me three demons on my side, as well as that creature I created. With a satisfied smirk, the wizard opened his eyes and stared at the door. He could pose as a little boy for long enough. If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya struggled to wake up, against the thick layer of sleepiness that threatened to keep her down. She wasn't aware of what was around her, but she'd felt Demetri enter the castle, and she knew she was needed, either by him, or by someone else, if need be. There were more people in the castle as well, but it was difficult for her to identify if they were threats or not. I let the healing get out of control, she thought to herself angrily. She did the only thing she could think of: she reached out with her mind. There were one...two...three extra consciousnesses, besides Lunora, Luke, Jethrow, Searan, and Demetri. Desperate, she latched on Searan's, but was met with a firm wall against her push. Anya? she heard him ask hesitantly into her own mind. Of course! she responded irritably. What's going on out there? We are preparing. Anya waited a few moments, expecting a further reply. Jethrow hopes to release you from Demetri's control. Fear spread through Anya faster than ice. Release her? That didn't sound good. Either she would experience heavy pain, someone would die, or she would loose her sanity... She wasn't sure which was worse. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow nodded, glancing over his shoulder at where Anya was still slumped in her chair. "I'll go check in on him, then," he said, standing. "I suggest you rest while you're in here. It's been rather stressful around here lately." The wizard left the room, and walked down the hall to where Lunora's door had been left cracked open. Quietly, he pushed the door open further, peering inside. As she'd said, there was a little boy curled up against a pillow, wearing a shirt a few sizes too large for him. The vulnerable expression on the child's face softened Jethrow's own suspicion, and he gently prodded the boy's subconscious. He found that the little kid didn't have many memories, having lost all recollection of his past. Jethrow exited the child's mind, and smiled a little. "You'll have a home now," he whispered before leaving and returning to his study. "An innocent orphan--you can go to bed now," he said reassuringly.

Lunora looked to Jethrow as he left and soon returned. When the wizard gave his pass on the boy, the fox sighed deeply. "Thank you Jethrow." she said, exiting his room and going back to her own. She closed the paper door behind her and slipped her sandals off. She didn't even spare a glance to the child as she laid down int her own bed on the floor and stoked a small fire in a fire pit. The fox demon yawned deeply, taking off her plain outer kimono, revealing a vibrant one under it. The vibrant one had kios swimming among other demons of power, the obi around her waist accentuated how much of a figure she had. She never much cared for her figure, but men did, which is why she hid under an outer kimono. Less gawkers...
(*hugs* You're back!)

"I will have my revenge." Demetri opened one sleepy child's eye as Lunora came in, following Jethrow. He'd just managed to fall back into his little form before his brother had come in, much less construct a series of false memories. He looked up at the fox demon as she stoked the fire, and he raised his eyebrows. He kept his sleepy expression, but he was surprised to find that she'd been hiding. He looked down at his small feet, scolding himself in his mind. Now is not the time to be flirting, Demetri, he told himself, reminding himself that he was not only in the form of a child, but he was in the territory of the enemy. "M-miss?" he said tentatively to the girl. "Are you still sad?" There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Sighing, Jethrow pushed himself back from his desk, having finished up the work he was doing before Lunora had come home. He stood, stretching and walking out of the study and down the hall. He knocked on Luke's door, intending to inform the wolf demon that his sister was home.

Lunora glanced over at the boy, having forgotten he was there. She rolled over onto her back and stretched. "Just a little. But not as bad as before." she said, glancing to the boy again. She was a little curious about him, but sleep was a more pressing matter on her mind. She sat up and grabbed a blanket and pulled it up to her waist, yawning deeply. She took her long red hair down out of its pony tail, letting her long crimson locks cascade down her back before laying down again.

"I will have my revenge." Demetri nodded and burrowed himself into the makeshift bed Lunora had made for him, closing his eyes. "I hope it gets better... Nice, pretty people like you shouldn't be sad," he said in his little voice, yawning and closing his eyes, though he wasn't really tired. He just needed to pretend to be so. This just may be easier than I thought... There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. "Luke?" Jethrow asked, knocking on his door. "I'm sorry to disturb you this late at night, but your sister is back."

Lunora looked at the boy and rolled back on her side, playing with the flames a bit. How she doubted his words. If only he knew. And was old enough to comprehend it. She sighed and rolled back onto her back, tucking her hands into her large sleeves, only to find the belled charm bracelet form her mother's shrine. "I could have sworn I put this back..."
Luke had been sleeping in a chair before jumping awake at the knock on his door. He yawned and opened the door, hearing Jethrow. "Thanks Jethrow." he said, rubbing one of his eyes. "I'll talk to her tomorrow."

There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow nodded at Luke, and took a step back. "Thank you. I'll get to work on Anya's antidote, but as I said, I'll need you both to help me release her. Get some rest," he said, turning, and walking back down the hallway towards his study. He closed the door and sighed, staring at Anya where she was still curled up in the arm chair. He'd cast a charm over her so she wouldn't wake up again until he released her, to prevent her escaping in the night or making a scene before the potion was ready. With an exasperated sigh, the wizard began to pull down ingredients, having already memorized the list he would need from the spellbook. The only other way, should this fail, is death, he reminded himself whenever he felt like falling asleep.

Luke yawned again and closed his door, going to his bed, climbing in. It was a very large four-post bed, and he liked it very much. And it was quick to put him to sleep.
Lunora got out of her bed and going to a cabinet and pulling out an ornate little box. She closed the cabinet and placed the box on one of the shelves made from the lower cabinets, opened the box, and placed the charm bracelet inside it. The fox returned the lid to the top of the box, closing it, before returning to her bed for some sleep.

There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow collected the ingredients in a circle on the floor surrounding him, the fire underneath the black cauldron sizzling as he added various bits and pieces of the potion. It took the wizard a few hours to finish, and by the time he was done, he was exhausted. The potion sputtered and he grimaced at the color. Most of the liquid had evaporated, leaving just enough for Anya's dose. Of all the people to be completely useless when an antidote needs to be made, he thought exasperatedly, putting a cover on the cauldron and standing. The wizard stretched his back and cast one last look at Anya. It was a cold night, so he waved his hand, creating a blanket that fell over the faerie-demon before he retreated to his room, not even bothering to undress before he collapsed on his bed, easily falling asleep. He felt Searan stir a little, and heard the dragon hybrid push its way into the study to watch Anya while Jethrow slept.

Zuuko stared at the black wall of his room, unable to sleep anymore. He'd gotten only a few hours of sleep, but he was used to being on the move all the time. A comfortable bed was hard to come by, usually, and he had never stayed at an inn an entire night. Unsettling, he decided. That's how it felt to be in the castle. Standing up, he moved around his room in a restless pacing, listening for signs of life around him. It seemed that everyone else had retired for the night, but he just couldn't fall asleep. What is that wizard hiding? he wondered to himself curiously, knowing that though that wasn't what kept him from sleep, it would make him feel better to try and figure it out. In the morning. I'll investigate when the sun's up, he decided firmly, stopping by the window and judging by the stars how close that was. Damn...

Lunora could not sleep as she laid in her bed. She sighed deeply as she rolled over onto her side and stared at the fire. Lunora changed into her smaller fox form, looking like just a regular fox, as she crawled under the covers of her blanket. She laid there for a moment before slipping out from under the blanket and went over to little Demetri. She plopped down against his back and went to sleep, her back against his.
