[[Louis : HT : Oogie's Pit]]
Louis froze as the cards rose, towering over him like skyscrapers, their shadows taking up all of his vision. He'd killed plenty of heartless to defend Jenny, but this, what was he supposed to do about it? The cards began to fall, and his mind began to race. He looked around for an exit, finding no opening or reprieve. His eyes darted to Jenny, locking on her.
I have to use it...
But I can't...
But I must...
I Have to...
If I don't, we die.
Louis felt as though his heart was sinking at the thought of his least favorite form of travel. It was a given for his position, and he had several times, not that he liked it. Something always felt as though he lost a bit of himself whenever he did, but this was no time for that. Jenny was in danger, and so was he, there really so no other option. The shadow beneath Louis and Jenny darkened and turned the shade of ink, as well as a similar texture. Suddenly, going from a standing position to a falling one, both sank into the floor just before the giant card fell flat on top of where they were moments before.
The two exited another portal in the air above the card, Louis falling out first, followed by immediately by Jenny. He hadn't thought things through fast enough to direct the exit initially, so they ended up a bit higher than Louis had intended. But Louis made the shock easier for Jenny, as he hit the ground first, then softening her impact with himself. Unintentional or not, Louis had only one thing in mind, Crap! Can't.... BREATH! Put simply, he'd gotten the air knocked out of him, otherwise, he was unharmed. |

Cory gritted his teeth as the Dualblade's weapon came down on him, knowing he was going to have to cancel his charge in order to save himself. Screw this...
"Iai Blow~" The renegade ronin vanished from sight as a white glint zipped through the fireballs thrown by the Gargoyles, followed by the Gargoyles themselves. It was then that the glint returned to Cory's blade, revealing his new location at the other side of the enemies. As soon as the glint vanished, the fireballs and one of the Gargoyles fell, leaving only one Gargoyle left. It was, after all, an iffy technique. Killing two Heartless at the same time was questionable.
He looked back to the Duablade, the darkness and Indomitable Will beginning to gather around his Revblade again as he noticed his new ally on the scene.
Perfect, like hell I'm going to spend all night trading blows with this thing. He dismissed the energy gathering around his weapon, soon followed by the weapon itself as he started running in the girl's direction. "Alice! Drive with me! I want to test this new power out!"

Nanaki continued working his way in towards Oogie Boogie in hopes of catching the burlap bag of bugs in his teeth and tearing him to pieces. He occasionally had to dodge a card, however due to the many attacks flying around, he was running into less and less resistance. He finally got close enough to where he felt he could do some damage when a horde of Heartless were manifest, some right in his warpath. With a growl, he leapt at one of the nearest Wyverns and tore at it with claws and teeth, taking out his frustration at the Oogie Game on the dark creature.
Bobbi yelped in surprise as a Wight Knight popped up in front of her. She jumped back, swinging Taulmaril at the Heartless like a really freaking large, weirdly shaped stick. It connected, sending the Heartless careening into the nearest wall, it's loose lightbulb-eye swinging wildly from the blow.
Without pausing to analyze the situation, Bobbi began blasting every Heartless in range with her Ice arrows. The ones she didn't freeze dissipated into darkness.
Finished with the Wyvern, Nanaki concentrated on the other Heartless, leaping on them and tearing out whichever appendage appeared to be the most throat-like, ensuring that they dissipated before moving on. When Sora's Magnega spell kicked in, Nanaki focused on getting closer to Oogie again, but was interrupted once more by those infuriating cards! Luckily, he was out of the trajectory of the large falling sheet metal.
Bobbi sighed in relief when the Heartless nearest her were sucked away, and used the brief moment of respite to catch her breath and finally-FINALLY-assess the situation at hand. It didn't look good, especially not when Oogie manifested a dome of cards around himself. When the cards fell, Bobbi stared at the one falling towards her, and looked around for an escape. As it neared, she noticed she wasn't far from one edge, and dove into a roll to get out of the way. She somehow managed to end the roll with herself on her knees, an arrow trained on Oogie Boo--
Well, s**t.
Her silvery-blue eyes widened in surprise when she saw the weight contraption, the cages, and the occupants. One was the Enchantress they had come to save, the other was...
"Raerae?" the Archer whispered, heart hammering in her chest. Rae was her friend, maybe not close, but regardless, she was starting to think of the hyperactive White Mage as a sister. On the other hand, she had a duty to rescue the Enchantress.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
Entire WORLDS needed her to help the Enchantress. Her friends needed her to help Rae.
Conundrum Cauldrons, anyone?
She let some slack into the bowstring, studying the contraption. If she could freeze the mechanisms together, everyone else could take out Oogie, and she'd just concentrate on keeping the scales frozen. Or maybe she could freeze over the tops of the cauldrons? Not likely, with the way they were steaming.
Nanaki was almost as confused as Dawn. He had seen and smelled Rae on the train, but didn't remember fighting alongside her in the last couple of battles. He didn't know her as well as the others, but he knew by their reactions that she was someone near and dear. He wasn't going to lose her to Oogie if he had any choice in the matter, but the Enchantress came first. If it came down to a choice between her and the Enchantress, he would take the Enchantress no questions asked. But the heartache and worry on the childrens' faces was enough to make him hesitate in his choice...
ʆand of Ɗragons
Riku landed one last blow to Kurt Zisa's neck before the monster rose up, coating itself in some sort of shield. He didn't like the looks of it, and when he heard the slight crackle that heralded the Thunder spell, he instinctively dove out of the way, rolling to his feet and unleashing a Dark Firaga at the Heartless.
He heard several cries of pain and dull thuds that told him others hadn't been so lucky in dodging, but when he heard the rapid fire of two guns, he knew someone at least had managed to get out of the way in time. He glanced at Amy out of the corner of his eye just in time to catch her face-palming with her gun, and couldn't help but grin a little.
Kid had to learn somehow.
When he saw her cast her Cure spell, he sighed in relief. He was halfway afraid they didn't have a Healer in their group, and knowing at least someone had that spell was a huge weight off of his mind. With that bit of reassurance, Riku got as far out of range of the blades held above the Heartless' head as he could, and fired off yet another Dark Firaga.
Demyx was so proud of his water spouts that he unleashed a second wave right as Kurt Zisa did it's floaty-zappy thing. When he noticed the LIGHTNING BOLT FLYING RIGHT AT HIM, it was too late. It caught him square in the chest, sending him flying several feet, and if his hair didn't have such a ludicrous amount of gel in it, it would have frizzed out into the worlds' most awesome blonde 'fro.
Ears ringing, world white, body tingly, Demyx lay in a spread-eagle position about five feet backwards from where he had been. Patches of his vision came back momentarily, rather like there were flashes of ceiling here and there.
The Melodious Nocturne decided since he had just been struck by lightning, things couldn't possibly get any worse. Until the bolt that was supposed to strike Amy struck him as well, causing electricity to dance over his body and spark from his fingertips. He expected if he coughed, there would be minor sparks erupting from his teeth. |

[Alice :: "The Gorge"]
The girl's eyes widened in surprise as a brilliant light surrounded her, the rays getting progressively stronger until she was forced to close her eyes. There was an overwhelming feeling of strength that welled up inside of her. Finally, the bright red behind her eyelids began to die out and Alice opened her brown eyes to see a faint glow from her body. Cory was no where to be seen and she glanced down to see that her outfit was altered slightly. The theme was still predominantly blue but she could tell that it blatantly held attributes of Cory's outfit also. Her brows narrowed in certain disgust but she shook it off and looked to the Dualblade.
She turned her head as Alys began to glow a steady blue, as if an ethereal spirit was spreading forth from the plush bunny. It was a gentle glow at first that but gained luminosity as it spread outwards. Its silhouette was obviously that of a rabbit as it towered over the animator before concentrating into a smaller form of a white rabbit. It bounded around Alice, leaving a trail of mist behind it's steps as it opened its beady black eyes before rushing forth and dissipating into the barren ground. The pebbles along the floor began to tremble, skipping across the floor before giant cracks skittered across, breaking the ground apart. Large pieces of the earth surged forth, levitating upwards and covered with a black and blue fire, dripping towards the ground in all its dread. Hmm... that's a nice touch... Alice mused as the tossed her miniature islands towards her victim.
"Fancy that..."
"Samurai abilities, how intriguing." Cuchulainn commented, a hearty chuckle following. "I wonder what other abilities you've obtained~"

The Dualblade did, in fact, follow after Cory, but at more of a slow walking pace. Doing so allowed it to easily dodge the first boulder that came flying in its direction. As Cory reached out for Alice, the Heartless seemed to quicken its pace before being stunned somewhat by the flashing light. As it died down, the Dualblade scanned the area... and then just stood there.
"C̗̣̪͈̤̻̲̎͒ͯ̓͘ͅo̧̡̳͈̝̪͚̍ͩ͗ͫ̎̿̉ͣ͆̕r̤͎̲͊͢y̢̪̟̙̟̅̍͢ ̨̰͍̾̂͂̈́̓̃i̴̊̈͊̍ͧ̀̒̐̊҉̱̠̼̦̲͕s̨̠̯̟͙̤͛̏͠... g͔̳̽ͧ͊ͫ̄̆̀͘͝o͓͊ͯ̀n͎̖̠̦̰̗̞̤̓ͬ̐͑͂͘͡e̛͓͚͖̥̘̭̱̲͋̚͠..."
With those twisted words (which sounded more as if they were spoken inside their heads rather than through the air), the Dualblade dropped its guard, seeming almost statuesque before being pummeled by the massive amounts of stone and rock.
When the attack was over, they would see the remains of the Dualblade lying on the ground, crushed and shredded. It slowly began to disintegrate into a fine black dust; however, the dust didn't simply vanish, nor did the Darkness that had been inside the armor. Instead, the black dust began to swirl a few feet in the air, with the dark aura once again possessing it before gaining form.

An all-too-familiar humanoid form, shaped identically as one known Joker-Dragoon, its golden eyes having the same indigo pupils as the Dualblade.
The Antiform seemed to shudder, its mouth open and in the shape of a grin, but no sound came out. Instead, they would hear the loud laughter in their minds, just as before, followed by...

The (mental) voice was obviously Cory's, but it sounded as if it were some sort of broken or scratched recording.
At that point, the shadows all around them began to move and shudder, slowly growing from the ground, from the walls of the Gorge, from the underside of the bridge above them... each forming an identical Antiform. There were easily a dozen of them; it was hard to tell due to the lack of actual lighting and the infinite amount of shadow.
They all looked at Alice and Timmy, sizing them up... waiting. |

[Timmy : The Gorge]
After being pushed off the ship by Alice into the dark portal he found himself landing in an area where Cory was fighting a giant heartless. Cory was definitely having trouble with the Heartless, but then he shouted at Alice to drive with him. Timmy was quite curious to see how this would turn out, and after Alice agreed, the two grabbed hands and a flash of bright light came forth. He put his hands in front of his eyes, and after the light faded away, there only stood Alice. She quickly disposed of the for, and Timmy didn't know what to say about that power.
Suddenly from the defeated armor came dust, but it began to form their next foe. Its appearance so distasteful to the boy, and yet he trembled with fear against the devious antiform. A while back, that same appearance caused quite the chaos and without much time, more of them came to be. "Tch, this is definitely not a walk through the park," he said while bringing forth his shields and getting ready for a fight.
