Great! Not sure yet. We may have to keep it way for one more month, until the Event is over. I'll have to talk to Icee.

Anyone else going to be able to do their articles this month?

I like that the this month's Monthly had more articles than usual. We should definitely do more of those!
Can I write an article?? It'll be about the college students in the guild... An article about the members of the guild who are doing double classes/duty... an idea in progress!
Let me know what you think Tina! ((If you like it, I'll make a thread in the Hallway asking who's in college so I'll know who to interview for my article)
(would you believe I thought of this idea as I typed it out. I'm weird =/)

We can do it for this month since all the Trivia has (or should have been) asked by now

Hello :3 I've just joined the guild today and I'm super excited about it. Thus, I've been reading around the guild and checking out all of the different things. I have to admit, when I first saw that you had a newspaper/magazine type of thing, I didn't except much. I didn't expect anything really, maybe some random crap, but I actually really like it a lot.

I just finished reading your latest issue and found it very informative and interesting. The Hogwarts Monthly is extremely creative and I can tell that you guys really put a lot of effort into making those articles :3 I love the recipe for butterbeer that you put in it D: i mean i haven't tried it yet but i'm definitely going to! It could have done without the horoscopes in my opinion, but I am a huge fan of the HP lexicon and recognized the dates from it for your past events article :3 I really appreciate it and look forward to next month's issue!

As a side note inspired by miss head elf's suggestion on having an article about college students, I think it would be really interesting to see what kind of things the graduates are doing even if they aren't in college. When 'Beyond Hogwarts' finishes construction, I hope you guys do an article all about what goes on in there :3 Also, I certainly hope there will eventually be trivia and more 'meet the mods'; the meet the mod you had with the head elf was such a pleasure to read. More book reviews sound interesting too.

Thanks for applying and for reading around the guild for Rules and such (I've had to tell the past several Elfs several things that were clearly marked in the past day, which is fine. I just don't like repeating myself I guess, haha).

Thanks for all the positive review. I (we) are glad you liked it. It does take quite a while to post everything, as well as edit.

As for an article about "Beyond Hogwarts", we did one recently. However, when it is all finish you can be sure that there will be a big featured article in the HM along with a surprise. There will definitively be more Trivia and more Meet the Mods. I hope there will be a lot of book reviews to come as well.

Icee: Gotcha.

(I was going to ask her the same thing, lol.)

Umm...well, I like the idea. It really goes with Lyra's Muggle Story (that she brought up a long time ago). I'm just trying to think if it should be in this month's issue or next months. There are pro's and con's to both. Let me think about if for a few hours and I'll post back here or PM you Icee.

(I can't believe I missed your first post! My computer must have lagged and went right over it. Sorry!)

Yay, a writer/artist! *Does happy dance* I could use your help with so many things. Do you prefer to write or do art?
PostPosted: Sat Aug 21, 2010 5:18 pm

i don't mind either; whatever needs to be done most, i can try to find time to do it :3 i don't do graphic art though ... all of my art is hand made so i can't do very much with my computer in terms of art ... i'm decent with MS paint though :3 here are some samples - this is my latest, testing my new 'cartoon' style [x], and this is a sample of my 'regular' style - made in MS paint [x]
