Her gentle smile was still there as she looked back at him once more, the yellow sun casting a hue upon the world as it gave it's last good bye for the night.
"People seem to forget the magic of the world. We think that simply because we know the mechanics of how it happens it must not be magic. Just because we know how each piece of the body works together to keep us running makes it no less a miracles. Which... is really just another word for magic...," She paused and laughed slightly, "Though. I think I prefer dragons and spells to mechanics. I like believing in something that would never happen."
She couldn't help but think of them when she said that. She had wished so hard to it to come true, knowing all the while that it never would. That too many of society's rules were against it. And yet, here she was with the man that she had longed to be with. The one that had trumped all before him.
"It's good that you never lost adoration in your love. I personally think that's a good trait. Even more honorable is to teach that to those that come after you. It's what makes you such a good person."

Logan looked back to Kendra, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. He placed his hand on the back of her head gently and kissed her. It was so perfect there. They probably weren't the only ones who had kissed there. Or where even kissing there at that moment. But it really didn't matter.

She felt a rush of warmth all around her as his lips met hers and her eyes fluttered shut. She still wasn't used to this. The action or the feeling. It was all too foreign. It didn't stop her from loving it though.

Logan didn't pull away for some time. He had been sucked into the moment. But he finally pulled away. His eyes lingered on her for a moment before he looked back out the glass.
"Ah, heh, we were supposed to be watching the sunset. I'm sorry. I'm a bit of a distraction, I suppose," he said as he glanced off in the distance.

She felt her face grow warm as she flushed. As they parted she stared back at him, her cheeks blushing deeply. She slowly removed her hands that had somehow found their way to his lower back. She looked over to the cityscape and laughed slightly.
"A very good distraction though. You make the sunset much more exciting in my opinion."
This was it wasn't it? What boyfriends and girlfriends did. They stirred this insane feeling in each other that made them want to be with the other. This adrenaline pump that turned them into junkies for love, itching for the next boost that sent their heart flying. She could see why. She loved it herself.

Logan stared out at the sunset still. Ah, they were still in the awkward 'just started dating phase' weren't they? He still felt slightly embarrassed around her at times. How odd. He hadn't felt this way around someone in quite some time. Perhaps it was because he liked her so much. He didn't want to do anything that would make her angry, or embarrassed or dislike him in any way. He smiled to himself. It was like he was back in high school again. Well...he was dating a high schooler.
The sun was slipped behind the cityscape by now and he glanced over to Kendra again. "I suppose we should get going soon then, eh?" he said, slipping his hand into hers. A pair of figures caught his eye. He glanced behind them and a couple stood there, staring at them. He looked at the two. Their stares, to him at least, seemed a bit judgmental and they didn't seem entirely concerned with hiding it.

Kendra hummed something before squeezing his hand. "Sure," she said with a smile, looking up at him, "I suppose we should...."
Her smile widened as she stared at him. She felt so silly.
"I like you a lot you know." she tried not to seem too goofy but hey, that's what he did to her. Made her feel all funny. Like she could laugh and never stop.
She hummed once more, swinging their hands. "So back down to flag a cab or are we walking to our next spot?"

Logan looked away from the couple behind them to look back to Kendra. He smiled. Her words really did do something for him, even if they did sound a tad silly. He was glad. It was always reassuring to hear that one was liked.
"Walk, catch a cab, either way," he said with a shrug. He tugged at her hand as he turned and began walking away from the viewing spot. They walked right next to the couple who, he thought, were still staring at them. It didn't matter. He wouldn't let their stares ruin his day.
"I think we should at least catch a cab back to the hotel. Perhaps getting one there would be a good idea too. It's going to be dark by the time we get there. And I don't think either of us really know our way around."

"Ah yes, we don't want to be lost out in the night. Not that I'd mind. I have my strong Logan here to protect me from the shadows."
She held his arm tight as they walked back to the elevators and rode to the ground floor. This time Kendra wanted to catch the cab and ran to the sidewalk's edge. She waved her hand out wildly and beamed as a yellow cab rolled to a stop before her. She turned and smiled at Logan, waving him on to catch up with her.
She opened the door and hopped in, waiting for Logan to join her.

Logan followed Kendra to the cab and smiled slightly as he quickened his pace to catch up with her. "Figures you'd get a cab that easily," he commented as he got int the cab. He gave the driver the directions and they were off.
They arrived shortly to a large area. It would have been empty if it hadn't been for the numerous people that had filed in. Many had brought their own folding chairs, blankets, food baskets, etc. Logan skimmed the area before turning back to Kendra.
"Well it seems we weren't the only one's interested. Guess we'll have to stand, though."

"It's fine," she said happily. It was odd, she was never in a mood quite like this often. To be just happy... without anything bringing her down. She beamed at the thought and hoped that she could stay like this. She liked it much more. Though, she hadn't gotten to tease him yet,... and that indeed was a bummer.
"I'm not surprised. I was however surprised at how few were in the tower. That was lucky I think. For this.... eeeem. I guess I was just expecting it? But no matter, I'm just happy cause you're here." She felt herself smile as she stared out at the people around her. They were all so different from her with the exception of one thing. They were happy. Even when one couple would argue slightly it would end in a hand squeeze and a shy smile to one another. A silent apology. It lightened her heart to say the least.

Logan glanced at her for a brief moment. "Perhaps that's because they're all here," he offered with a smile. He shook his head as he took her hand. "Come on, let's go find somewhere to stand."
He started walking towards the crowd and the cab drove away behind them. He glanced around at everyone in the crowd. Unless they wanted to shove through the entire crowd of people, he doubted that they would be able to get very close. But in a light show, being close wasn't all that fantastic. So it would probably be okay that they wouldn't be right up front.
"Tell me if you spot a good place," he said as he continued to scan.

Pft, tell him? There wasn't time for that. She smiled as she ducked to the side and pulled him along quite quickly. There was a nice little path in between the people that lead to a cute little opening by a fountain. If they got there, if being the operative word, they would even be able to sit upon the fountain's edge and listen to the water.
The words "pardon me" and "excuse me" passed her lips more than once as she wove between people, doing surprisingly well at not hitting them. She felt bad for Logan since she assumed he wouldn't be doing half as good of a job. At least she wasn't running. That would be bad. She wasn't doing more than what a normal person walked... so it wasn't that fast. Still, she felt slightly bad for jerking him over. But hey, she kind of enjoying tormenting people. Kind of.

Logan followed Kendra as she pulled him along. He found it very difficult not running into people and felt himself bumping quite often. He continually repeated 'sorry' and 'excuse me'. He felt particularly bad when someone tried to cut in just after Kendra passed them. He rammed smack dab right into him, closing his eyes as he did so. "I apologize," he shouted over his shoulder as they passed.
He ducked through the crowd, avoiding running into anyone as much as possible. It was quite difficult, especially when he wasn't paying attention. After a few moments, he finally got himself together and dodged more and more blows. He still ran into numerous people, but he was getting better at it.
"Are we going to stop anytime soon?" Logan asked, kind of joking.

"Maybe," she said with a smile as she turned and stopped, letting go of his arm and putting her hands out and against his chest to stop him from pushing her into the fountain.
"Sorry, but it was worth it. See?" she asked as she glanced around at the surprisingly empty area. It would be filled soon ,she thought, but at least they had gotten there before that.
"Sorry again... I know you said to tell you but I was afraid it would vanish by the time I said something."
