Kokoroki Eccentric Iconoclast I usually see "th" transliterated as "f" in such cases. ;D I'm pondering adopting an actual Russian name. I looove my middle name's Russian equivalent (Irene - Ирина), so I think I'll use that. sweatdrop And then my patronymic would be Ивановна. xD Irina (aye-ree-nah)(english) My friend pronunces her name like that in english But that's how it's pronounced in English. In Russian, it's pronounced ee-ryee-na. mad D Actually, one has to use быть in there or it comes out as "Only one can." Only one can what?

Mojet bit' tolko odin iz nih 3nodding (It can only be one of them... it sounds a little odd to say it otherwise) Thank you. Do you mean that it sounds odd in Russian? I know it's a little strange to say it that way in English, but it's more of a personal motto to mean 'I'm unique'. How is it written in cyrillic (I'm not much good at writing it)?
