Ryo just stared at the map for a minute, then hit his forhead with his palm
"I KNEW I forgot something when i came here!!! I can't believe i left my school map!!!"
He laughed a little though. It was I ronic, though. The ONE thing he needed, he'd left at home.
He looked up from the map and smiled again the Daisuke. He had a small smirk that was too cute for Ryo to handle.
"Yeah...I guess the teachers will be a little loose for the first couple of days."

"We can only hope" He said and continued eatign his food "Oh and you can keep the map if you want. I'm good for finding my way to classes and if I have any issues, well I'll just steal my brothers map" He gave a cheeky grin at the thought of Kenshin wondering around the school mapless.
"Ya know, it'd be cool if we had classes together...if we are in the same year.. how old are you anyway?" Daisuke asked bluntly, unknowing this could be a touchy question to ask "I'm 16"

He smiled wider as Daisuke told him his age. "I'm 16 also, maybe your wish of having classes with me will come true."
Ryo thought it over. he would really kile to have classes with Daisuke. he seemed nice enough, and he was cute. If nothing else, Ryo saw a friend withing Daisuke.
"Do you mind showing me your schedule? I want to compare it to mine. Who knows, we may be in EVERY class together."

Daisuke beamed when Ryo told him his age, for some reason it made Daisuke immensely happy. "Okay!" he said and began rummaging through what was clearly a new shoulder bag for him until he found the crumpled paper that was his schedule.
"Here" He said presenting the paper to the other boy after attempting to smooth it out on the table.

Ryo took the paper from Daisuke, accidentally brushing their hands as he did. Well, HALF by accident anyway.
It only took him a minute to compare the schedules because every singly name, room number, and period of the class...were eaxctly the same!
"Looks like you got your wish Daisuke."
he handed the schedules back and smiled sweetly. "Is there anything else you'd like to wish for? Apparently I'm magic."
Ryo haden't touched his food since the boy joined him, he was too wraped up in conversation. Honestly, he hadn't studied the boy up close either. He'd only seen him from far away. Up close though.....WOW!

Daisuke seemed to think for a while before smiling "nope you pretty much covered them all already" His paw tingled a little from when the other had touched him, but he figured it was due to his excitement of successfully socializing with someone. He felt so giddy he wanted to fly. Though right now it was perhaps not the best idea. So instead he continued to observe and talk to his new friend, who it seemed he'd be sharing all his classes with.
"Hey.. aren't you gonna eat your food?" Daisuke asked noticing Ryo hadn't been eating since he sat down.

Ryo's grin spread wider as Daisuke told him he'd granted all his wishes. "Really? Wow, I really must be magic!" he winked again.
"Oh....um....." he blushed a little when his friend, he though anyway, asked him about his eating. "I .....no, I guess I'm not that hungry. Do you want anything?' Ryo pushed his plate a little toward Daisuke. All he had left was some eggs and last two pieces of toast.
Ryo was a little embaraced that the other boy had noticed that he'd stoped eating. He wasn't quite sure why, though. he mentally shrugged it off and looked Daisuke over once up close. Soft, tan skin. long black hair. Slim, muscular figure. Ryo thought he was going to get a nose bleed. His new friend was, look wise anyway, just his type! Same height, mucsular, but not like he'd been on steroids, and his skin and hair seemed so naturally soft and smooth. "perfect" he accidently whispered, just loud enough for anyone with acute hearing to...well...hear.

Daisuke perked up happily when the other offered him food, sometimes Daisuke ate like a pig, though of course it was never an issue at home and he quickly swiped the toast "Thanks" He said already munching on said food,
Daisuke was happily looking around the cafeteria, his tail swishing back and froward beneath his chair as he looked around so many people! And maybe they were all nice like Ryo. He turned around to look at Ryo again the most adorable happy smile on his face. before he blinked "Whats perfect?" he asked cocking his head to one side.

"Huh!?" he gasped. 'Did he hear me!?!? Oh no!!!'
He blushed even deeper and tried, unsuccessfully, to hide it.
"Um...I...Uh.....nothing.....I didn't say anything"
Ryo felt his face burning with embarasment. He had just met the kid for crying out loud! How well did he think it would go if he randomly said 'You! You're perfect!!!' ?
He noticed daisuke's cute expression and snapped. he couldn't take it anymore! "I um...I have to go.....I'll see you in first period." Ryo grabbed his tray back and got up, walking unusually fast to throw away his left over eggs. He left quickly, accidentaly leaving not only the map of the school, but his schedule! He didn't really know where to go, so he just went outside the school building and sat at the first empty bench he could find.
"I'm so embarased!" he whispered and put his face in his hands. "Ryo no BAKA!!!!!" He always yelled at himself in some other lauguage.....he had no clue why though.

Daisuke blinked at the sudden retreat hsi so called friend had. Had he done something wrong? But if he had why would Ryo say he'd see him in first period? Wow friends were confusing, he noticed though that Ryo left the map and his schedule and Daisuke gathered them up and quickly followed the boy out, stuffing the last of the toast into his mouth.
He followed his nose outside where Ryo apparently had gone and heard someone yelling in Japanese.
Cautiously he approached and held out the brunettes forgotten items "Your not an idiot" He said with a shy smile. He really hoped it wasn't he who had upset his friend. "you um left in a hurry and forgot these" Daisuke continued on "I just wanted to make sure you got to first period alright, so i'll umm see you later right?" He didn't know why he was being so shy all of a sudden, perhaps it was his nerves acting up, or the random outburst Ryo had had moments before, either way the neko's confidence was lost and he felt like a lost kitten.

Ryo slowly took his things from Daisuke and looked at his feet. he didn't think he could face such a cute guy right now. "I'm so...so sorry Daisuke..."
He whimpered slightly and looked up "Please don't be mad at me...I just........." He looked away again, not knowing what to say.
"It's just that....you're so cute" he blushed deeper and stood up so he was eye level with his friend...he hoped Daisuke was still his friend. "I'm sorry, I'll go. I'm being an annoying jerk to you...if I hurt you by leaving, I'm sorry.....and I know you probably want to be far away from me now that you know how I feel about you.....just please don't start making fun of me like everyone else did last year."
he took a few steps away from Daisuke, hoping he hadn't hurt him too badly

Daisuke stood his ears twitching as the thought about what his friend was stammering about. Ryo had called him cute, he had heard that word before. Remembered Kyo using it all the time.
Daisuke burst out into a huge grin, his friend thought he was cute! and cute was good. Though Kyo had failed to tell Daisuke that cute when used by someone who isn't family had a whole different meaning, and he also failed to explain to Daisuke the differences between sexes and about homosexuality. Somewhere off in the hills Kyo got a shiver down his spin.
Daisuke on the other hand was happy he hadn't done anything wrong and pounced his friend with a big hug "I think you ka-wai-i~ too!" he said emphasizing the syllables of the word. though his naivety and innocence had this whole situation spiraling outta control.
"You're very silly though Ryo" he started still hugging the other and using all his resolve to stop hismelf from purring, normal humans did not purr. "but why would anyone not wanna be near you, your nice, and a good friend, and you gave me toast!" Daisuke ramble don nonesencally "and I would never dream of making fun of my first friend" oops he had let the friend bomb drop.

Ryo froze. He tried desperately to move his body, but he couldn't. He was euphoric as Daisuke hugged him. He didn't think his friend had any idea how he was being impacted by such a simple touch.
"Kawaii!?" he muttered "Really???"
He snapped. It was official. he pulled Daisuke closer and hugged him back "Thank you!!! I'm so glad you still want to be friends!!!" Ryo started spinning himself and his friend round and round, not realizing what he was doing. "To tell you the truth, I never really had many friends either. My closest friend is my little brother, Yuki."

Daisuke beamed and couldn't resist the urge to nuzzle his friend especially when Ryo did confirm they were friends and hugged him in return. Daisuke was just really happy.
Daisuke laughed as Ryo spun them and he got a little dizzy from it. releasing his friend he shook his head to get his bearings back "Really? and I thought you woulda had lots of friends, since your so kind" he beamed and flopped down on the grass. "I guess you could say the same for me, except my best friend would be my twin brother. though he'd never admit to that" Daisuke shrugged and flopped back starring up at the sky.

Ryo was so happy he thought he would burst. "Well.....I have a few things that are obvisouly wrong with me" he smiled weakly, half reffering to his sexuality, half reffering to his powers.
"Plus I always had to protect Yuki. I didn't have time to make friends. But I was never mad at Yuki, not even once. I love my lil bro with all my heart."
He sighed feeling more then a little nostalgic.
