"It's my spot...I stay up here when I want to be by myself," Typhon sighed as he laid back down, then he looked over at her and saw that she had her back turned to him. He stood up, "Well, if you're going to stay here I'll go find some other roof..."

"--mew. I am a healer. If you need aid, I live in that building across from here." Alena pointed to the building that she had jumped from. "....." She stood, walking to the point she landed, ready to jump back through the window.

"So if I get my arm chopped off I can come see you?" Typhon said sarcastically and started laughing, but then he stopped when he got an idea, "Hey, maybe you can help me out. Follow me."
Typhon jumped off the building and landed on the ground.

Alena followed him and landed without sound. She gazed at Typhon. "Help?"

Typhon walked into Konoe's home, leaving the door open for Alena to follow, "Hey! Konoe!"
Konoe came out of a room holding a mess load of parchments, "Mm..yes?"
"This girl's a healer! She lives across from here, so she can help you with your stuff," Typhon smiled.
"You are funny. I'm glad you've at least cheered up some," Konoe placed the documents down onto a table, "Any friend of Typhon's is a friend of mine. My name is Konoe, and what is your name, miss?"
"Hey...I didn't say me and this girl were friends..." Typhon grumbled.

"Oh..by the way, can you explain something to me," Typhon lifted up a hand and forced a spark which burned the tip of his finger, "That...why is it always blowing up in my face?"
"Eh?!" Konoe screamed, "How?! Your body can't accommodate it!"
"..." Typhon was confused, "What the heck?"
"Think of it this way...your body is like an hourglass, and the sand is your power. But what you just did was like forcing the sand through the neck. If you apply enough force, eventually the sand will stop, and the further you go, the glass will break. That is your scenario...you are not built to use that power. Though...you can widen that neck of the hourglass through long and extensive training," Konoe sat down, "You must not use that technique again. If you want power, you should focus on your other abilities. Like I said a long time ago, your talent is in weaponry..."
"But there are times where weapons are of no use," Typhon spat. He was frustrated and left immediately, leaving Konoe and Alena there. He headed towards the market area to distract himself.

Reia passed through the village and was confused to hear a sound of a slight explosion coming from one of the homes. Her heart skipped a beat and she began to run, frightened, to help what she thought were people trapped inside.
She stopped suddenly when she saw that there didn't seem to be any danger, and raised an eyebrow when she heard raised, angered voices.
"Your body can't accomodate it!"
She stopped dead and thought to herself, This is a private conversation... I really shouldn't be here...

As Typhon exited he was careless enough to not pay attention to where he was going, and accidentally bumped into Reia, "Wha..? The village sure is busy today.."
He looked at her. He didn't know if he should apologize or not.

Reia looked to the boy, and her heart fluttered. She looked down, and stuttered out an apology, then ran. She knew if the boy found out who she was, he would shun her, and possibly laugh at her.
Needless to say, she was frightened of that.

Typhon was shocked. He didn't want the apology from her since it was his fault and not hers, "W..wait!"
He dashed after Reia, maneuvering around people and objects that happened to be in his path, and he shouted after her, "Hold on a minute!!"

Reia stopped dead after she heard the boy screaming after her. After all, he wanted her, and she wasn't going to disobey a direct order.
She turned slowly to see the boy panting slightly, and gave him a somewhat scared look. "I... I didn't mean to bump into you. I apologize."
Reia bit her lip and when the boy didn't say anything she looked up into his eyes.

"I am the one who should be apologizing to you, not the other way around," He placed his hand on Reia's shoulder, "So, sorry bout bumping into you like that...I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

Reia's guard immediately went up, and she looked up to see a smiling face.
"You mean... you're not mad at me? I didn't do anything... wrong?"
Reia watched the boy's face go from smiling to confused. "Wrong? You've done nothing wrong. It was I who bumped into you."
Reia smiled slightly, pleased at the way the conversation was progressing without the other person running away in fear or anger. "Oh. Well, that's... good. Normally it's always my fault. Ha ha. Yeah..." She looked down, unsure of what to say, hoping her paws might give her some insight.

"If you keep blaming yourself for things that aren't your fault, then you're always going to feel guilty," He placed his hand in her hair and messed it up a little, "Cheer up."
Man...I sound like Konoe... Typhon almost shivered at the thought, and he felt slightly older than he should be.

"Hey!" Reia screeched, and grabbed her head. "What was that for?!"
Typhon laughed at her as she immediately licked her hand and smoothed her hair back into place, looking like the cat that she is.
"So what was up with the explosion back there?" Reia asked, and immediately realized that she shouldn't have said anything. Typhon tensed, and looked away.
Reia apologized and backed away. "I didn't mean to make you upset. You don't have to say anything that you don't want to... I mean... uhh... oh dear."
A violent headache came on, just like those that come when she is afraid. She tensed immediately, waited for Typhon's attack, and winced. She opened her eyes slightly when it didn't come, and she reeled from the pain of the headache. She sat, holding her head in her hands. "I... don't feel so well..."
