Well you could of had Cobra Commander commenting on him watching DragonBallZ again. They had the Tri Form technique that could of explained the three of him, and it still be funny cause Tommy is too serious to watch cartoons.
Minbender was a clone, but I don't recall them saying where he came from. He just showed up one comic.

I don't really watch DBZ anymore, so I wouldn't know about that technique. sweatdrop Besides, this way, even if someone had no clue about anything related to G.I. Joe, they could still find this mildly amusing, where if it had a reference to another show, the joke would be completely lost.
I remember the Rise of Serpentor trade had a page that showed a bit of the technology used to make Dr. Mindbender's clone, but it wasn't very much, and they don't explain the process other than growing the new clones in big tubes in a secret lab of some sort.
Ah, but anyways, let's change subjects. Who's your favorite characters? Does anyone else besides me hate Footloose? surprised

What's wrong with Footloose?
My favorite in the cartoons was Scoop and Lowlight, in the comics I'm going to have to cop out and say Snake Eyes.

Stalker is probley one ofthe best developed character in the series.

I don't like how Footloose is in the cartoon, and the way he talks annoys me to no end. 3nodding Since seeing him twice in the shows, I've developed a strong dislike of him, and cartoon Bazooka, ...and the pacifist doctor.
The guy who runs my local comic store likes Snake Eyes as well. He went so far as to draw a picture of him for a store exclusive America's Elite #1 cover. Snake Eyes gets a lot of attention from the people who write the comics, so it's kinda hard not to have him as at least one of your favorite characters.
Pandy is fond of:
Beachhead
Firefly
Tunnel Rat
Cobra Commander
In that order, and from both comic and the cartoon. I'm a bit more fond of cartoon Cobra Commander over the comic one though, because he's less serious, especially in the new movies.

I personally liked the comic one better. He was a normal person gone bad and not some creature from a weird civilization.
Along the lines of Cobra I really like Destro and Zartan. It's interesting to see the two of them swap sides so often.

Hino Recca I personally liked the comic one better. He was a normal person gone bad and not some creature from a weird civilization.
Along the lines of Cobra I really like Destro and Zartan. It's interesting to see the two of them swap sides so often. I used to not like Zartan, until one night when I dreamt I was forced to eat lunch with him at his table in high school, and I found out he was just a quiet loner underneath his dangerous rebel biker look. I don't know what sparked that bizarre dream, it was wierder than the one where I dreamt Shatterstar beat up Cobra Commander at Serpentor's command. sweatdrop xd

Why?! gonk I liked the cartoon Cobra Commander because he does silly things.. like putting prisoners in the arena for sport, allowing them a chance to escape. It''s the stupid things that endear him to me. whee

Why would Shatterstar work with Cobra? Unless he joined Cobra as an excuse to fight Snake Eyes.

I don't know why Shatterstar was in my dream, I haven't even read Marvel comics in years. He was just making an appearance I suppose. xd

FireFly is back in the comic again Yay! i thought he had disappeared for good after the battle on Cobra Island but i was wrong. And he even ends up teaming with Snake Eyes what a twist though he retains his evil intentions
