*thud* "aargh bas-.." *splosh* Lyx didnt expect the brickwork to be THAT shabby, flat on his face he fell. drenched ion the putrid stench of the sewer rivers he whined...and whined...and whined...in a wimpering sort of fashion,

He heaved himselvef up but to no avail *SLIP* and flat on his back side again, it seems the slime residue had become something of a troublesome conpanion to him. When he finaly got his correct fotting on the damp brick work at the side, he screamed and endless sould crushing screetch

"NOOOOOOOOO!...MY NEEEWSPAPERS, ALLL DESTROYED!!!!". he shook them furiously as they fell to pieces in damp soaked up sections. he discarded the pack of the days evening news as it was proberly weighing him down anyway. he started to pace himself in trying to find a way out. Obviously that old senile homless man on the surface lied to Poor Lyx about a 'short cut' to the countess's 'Jagseigh' mansion...

Lyx clenched his fist and ground his teeth and yelled in sheer anger "How will i deliver the countess's evening paper nooow!!!!!" He punched the wall before whimpering again....mainly in pain...

The girl now trying to calm herself down, now trying to wipe her tears from her face with her ragged sleeves only making her face more dirty "are you going to help me?" she asked the woman

On the far north side of the sewers, I walk a slow pase. I had sensed a member from the unknown clan I've been hunting down. But alsas, it is gone. I lost my lead again, no matter, it shall not be long tell I seak them out again, but now I need to rest. I Sniffed the air looking for something to eat, only the smell of pure blood and human came to my nose. I guess I have to keep looking, as I start my way down the sewers again.

Onyx removed her canteen and a white cloth from her bag, and proceeded to wet the cloth with the water. When she was done, she cleaned the dirt from the little girl's face. "Nice to meet you Iles," she said with a smile. "So...about these vampires that are bothering you. Care to explain a bit further?" she asked as she returned the items to her pouch.

"I have already said I would help you." Onyx said, as she painfully stood up. "So, do you know where these vampires are?" She asked Iles, and she held out her hand for the little girl.

"Hm...seems like quite the challenge..." Onyx thought aloud. "Just how do you expect me to help you? Why don't you just leave the town?" Onyx asked, trying to better understand Iles' situation.

Lyx Looks in a bug eyed gormless expression back at the 'hooded figure' before hesitating and waving his arms about.

"I LOST MY PAPAERS!!!"

Lyx began to run around circling the Hooded figure possibly the most stupid mannor of crying. *BAMM!* he tripped over the boot that was concelealed under the robes of the Mystery man. face first (again) into the bloody waters of the sewers, which was for some reason becoming a very bad habbit of poor old Nyx sad . He regained his posture and all of a sudden he out bursted,

"WAIT!, I HAVE AN IDEA" *SHOOOM!!* the water skimmed behind Nyx as he jetted down the dark catacomb of the Sewer out of sight of the hooded figure.

*SLAM* he found a set of ladders leading up to the surface again, complete with manhole cover. He pulled his face off the Steel he had just come in contact with (aww) and dashed up as quick as he could. He pushed up the entrance to streets.

Lyx was welcomed from what seemed to be light of the outside world, but there was no light, just the blood shot red of the skies above. he heaved himself out and slid the hole over. quickly he brushed himself off and squeezed out the water that had Jumbo sized his best t-shirt, sagging at the bottom just passed his Knees. Lyx sighed and looked around...
