XD Tell me about it. I'm still getting used to the cool-ness! n_n Although I haven't exactly done anything yet, I checked out the new control panel thingy that we get, and that was awesome. We can invite people!!

Hehehe.
I've just been reading past issues of the Press - I loved the random interview-type-thing with the staffies in the Beyond the Box for issue... 2 was it? or 3? The only names I knew, though, were Serieve and Jahoclave. Where did everyone go?!
*stretches* I definitely have far too much free time. I come here every day and post random nonsense - and I have enough time to read past issues - whereas most of the GP are too busy to come here every week.
I really need something constructive to do. X3 Should I write another review?

X3 Should I write another review? yeah, I also like the passed issues, but I can't clue you in on who anyone is...I wasn't there for about the first year, I think. Free time, eh? well, you could write more reviews, or work on one of those column things you were thinking about doing. Even if you have to edit it later once we figure out what it will be like, it could still help to have something to work with.

Yeah, good idea... what I was wondering when I read the past issues was how the Writer's Aide section worked. Did one person do it or did different people submit things for each issue?

I really need something constructive to do. X3 Should I write another review? Everybody went about their own ways. Some people may have left Gaia, others left the forum, others just left the 'zine. Writer's Aide: If I'm not mistaken, somebody had set up a thread for it in the original Guild. So, one person did a majority, but those were up for editing and revision.

Alrighty, hope no one minds, but I'm antsy, and have some free time, so I thought I work on further developing the new guild.
Current Plans:
-create the main threads, such as the info thread, introductions, etc., following Serieve's guide on the front page.
-if possible, working on transferring stuff over from the old guild, like the Archives, etc.
-add intros to preexisting threads, like the HQ, etc.
well, that's the plan so far, I'll check stuff off as I get it done, and add to it as I come up with new ideas, get more specific plans, etc.

I feel for you crying Edit: got the Info and Navigation topic mostly done. Give it a look see and tell me how it looks! There were a few things I wasn't sure how to do, like the section I want to have on the history of the Press. I've only been around for a little over a year, so I don't know how it all started, but I know it would be interesting to include. I also changed a few organization things based on my own preferences, and of course those are still completely open for discussion. -Rushifa

I feel for you crying My teacher is insane. You shouldn't do this to people their first year of high school. cry (Although, a large portion of it is creative writing. So...I guess it's a good thing?) EDIT Is there a way for me to get ahold of retired staffies? Cause if it just involves looking at the old guild or somesuch, I'd be happy to make the Staff thread.

That does seem pretty long! Well, it is cool that it's creative, though. I think it's just a matter of going through the old guild, or the archives, etc.

That sounds like a good idea ^^ I have a lot of free time too, but I'm spending quite a bit of it at wired squared, a comic studio that I've recently become leader of (o_O) so I haven't got round to writing the Writer's Aide thing yet.
