*twitch* Chicken.. I've never been able to eat chicken..
My parents kept chickens before I was born, and I've heard all too many stories about Lucky the Rooster and Big Hen to feel comfortable eating other chickens. I think my aversion to meat in general just grew out of that- I'm a vegetarian, but more from a general distaste for meat than a higher motive of disliking modern factory farming. If I was really going to support that idea, I would stop buying eggs from the grocery.
...err.. in any case, I should try matzah.

I like steak, but not hamburgers, and chicken if it's prepared right. Pork I'll eat, but I'm not fond of it. Especially not hot dogs XP ...but I love bacon. Crispy bacon...okay, I want some now. >_> Turkey I only eat on Thanksgiving, and as for any other types, I don't eat them simply because my parents don't buy them. I'd never eat veal or some other meats. >_<
The only reason I still eat meat is because I think steak and some chicken dishes taste good, and meat is also my main source of protein because I'm a picky eater. If I could wean myself off of the savory taste, I'd go vegetarian. At school, I ignore the meat dishes they serve except for when it's popcorn chicken or grilled chicken, or bacon. I don't think I could go completely vegan though; I like dairy products, and eggs are in too many foods that I like.
Does fish count as meat? I'll eat salmon, and I've had fried calamari before, but other seafood turns me off. Shrimp, for example. They're like huge squishy bugs gonk

Heh, I'm a carnivore mostly.
Honestly, I'd LIKE to be able to go vegetarian (for health reasons mostly) well...mostly vegetarian, and still have meat. Just not have it as frequently...however, it's not exactly possible as I hate the taste of most vegetables.

Harvested Sorrow Heh, I'm a carnivore mostly. Honestly, I'd LIKE to be able to go vegetarian (for health reasons mostly) well...mostly vegetarian, and still have meat. Just not have it as frequently...however, it's not exactly possible as I hate the taste of most vegetables. I think you grow to them. I used to really enjoy bacon, and pea and ham soup. The smell of any meat these days, however, can put me off food. As such, I've grown to love other tastes. There's nothing I enjoy better than some lentils or tofu.

Meh, I find it hard to eat something that tastes utterly vile for the sake of having it grow on me. I can only choke down vegetables in small amounts although some (corn and potatoes) are pretty good when prepared properly.

I consider myself a vegetarian, even if I don't have the "purest" of reasons for it. Tofu, legumes of all sorts, veggieburgers.. all delicious. And I do prefer raw veggies, but that's just because they have a lot more taste that way.
I don't consider seafood meat, or at least not in the sense of my self-imposed dietary restrictions: I eat seafood of all sorts, provided that I like it.
