omfgNAMARI This is just me wondering, but as I'm trying to familiarize myself with the D-3 world (lol noob sweatdrop ), I was just noticing there isn't much on the info page about the world itself... plenty on mods and weapons and the like, but no map, or culture or history.... is that.. coming? or does it exist somewhere else that I could access it? It's making it a smidge hard to get into character xd Its left mostly open on purpose to allow the players more freedom. Instead of making everything exactly how I want, anyone in the guild can create a location within the city. For example, their are user made weapon shops, houses, and general locations. Hell, tell me what your thinking and Ill make a banner for the tread for you. The only thing I ask that you stay away from is making another city area [ie Central City, Spire, The Butcher's Field], that would be problematic for me in the long run I think. But besides that, its all up to the creativeness of our users to make Daitokai #3 a more interesting place to live.

well can we get details on some of the specs of things we will deffinately come across, or use?? I'm still confused at what the CENTAUR class S.A.A.Ss look like and what their specifications are...
And on an entirely different line of thought, What ever happened to the crew search??

.. Okay, I understand letting people have freedom to come up with ideas.. actually, I think that's pretty cool.
One thing I'm kind of unclear on is, is there anything comparable to the Internet.. like a "Net" or something of the like? I haven't really seen anything that would suggest there is (although I could just be dumb and am missing it completely), but the idea of a future without some kind of Internet network sort of thing like that seems.. odd. And if there is one.. can it only be accessed by people who are cyberized, or is there some kind of alternative interface that anyone can access it from? How would it work exactly? I dunno.. just a thought x3

[Please excuse any illiterary-ness . . . not totally sober when responding] Yeah, their is an advanced form of the internet in Cyberia, it just hasn't been too elaborated on yet. The Comm system that alot of people use and the internet have been incorporated into one mega structure known as the 'Net or Hive, or whatever you want to call it. All phone calls, Internet searches, any kind of information search has been compiled into the information collective. I haven't focused on that sense of the future because I firmly believe that the internet and the idea of 'free information sharing' has been integrated into the everyday facet of life. For example: Telling someone to go look up how to open a PDF417 decoder in Cyberia would be the same as having someone look up how to make chocolate chip cookies nowadays. Everyone has some sort of know how, and if they don't, they know someone they can get ahold of that does.

Well when I hear CENTAUR I think of the horse/humanoid. in the RP thread DOM called them horses so I guess either, there quadpedal or they have a nice maneuvering speed.
Only question I have about them is this. Are they like the Armed Suits in GITS and Appleseed, or the kind where you're legs move the legs and you have a control panel (mech -ike), or lastly are they purely mech-like?

Their more like the tachikomas from GitS. You plug into them and they use your brain's commands to move. Of course, they are more powerful, faster, and overall better than any human sized machine. And yes, they have an centaur look with your body resting in a pod in the front and your arms inside of larger arms, one with the SMG and grenade launcher and the other with grappling claws.

Ah cool, so it's still possible to do some re-scripting on them though right?

Yeah, their the basic model. Theres a couple mounting points on the back, and anyone that has a decent ammount of tech know how could mix up all kinds of fun stuff for them.

Marx_Zenuko Cool, any humanoid style S.A.A.S units? I'm sure if you designed some and submitted them, there would be...

Sure, if you want there to be. I mainly just did the CENTAUR because before that post I finally convinced my DM that I should be allowed to play a Centaur in his new game and to hell with the +4 level adjustment, I'll just be level one for a while.

S.A.A.S units should have legs at least, right? or some type of humanoid-ish component. Because when I think about their concept I get the image of those armored suits in GITS.
