1. Twilight - Stephanie Meyer 2. Lullaby - Chuck Palahniuk 3. New Moon - Stephanie Meyer 4. Haunted - Chuck Palaniuk 5. Harry Potter Series - If you don't know the author, then you fail at life.
I felt special, so I added the authors too. In case you were wondering, Palahniuk and Meyer are 2 of my favourite authors ever. ^^

Fav Books...
1) His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. 2) Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle Carmody. (Why can't they hurry up and publish The Sending... I mean for God's sake haven't we waited long enough?!?) 3) The Legendsong (Books 1-2 since the 3rd is not yet published... domokun ) Also By Isobelle Carmody. 4) Old Kingdom Trilogy by Garth Nix. 5) And how else could i finish up if not without ANOTHER book by Isobelle Carmody, Alyzon Whitestarr.
But just for referance i'm pretty much for anything written by these 3 authors. I also like Anne McCaffrey, John Marsden, Marianne Curley, Tamora Pierce, and... well heaps and heaps of different authors.
Plus of course J.K Rowling... how could anyone write a list without adding her... though to tell you the truth as I've grown I've come to embrace a greater range of books and authors so she doesn't come into my top 5... sorry all.
And Tolkein... though it's been a while since I've read any of his books and he has slipped back as a result.
Ooooh... I like all of Dan Brown's books as well... I actually went out of my way to buy them... I also own pretty much all of the books I losted which is testament to how much i liked them as i only buy books that I really. really like.

TintedShades 1)Out of the Silent Planet 2)The Hobbit 3)Narnia 4)Sherlock Holmes 5)Alice in Wonderland
Not all of my favourites, just a few. i would love to see C.S. Lewis' Space Trilogy turned into a movie series! Silent Planet would be an instant classic, and Hideous Strength would be a serious social satire.
