Katrea sat up and looked at Ikki at the window, then he took a look around the room it was fancy not poor at all. It had been a long time since he had seen a stable building in the desert.

"This place seems high class."

Katrea then looked over at the toilet it had a working shower. Katrea stumbled to his feet and spoke out a bit forcefully.

"A shower I have not used one for so long it’s almost like an illusion; I am going to use it, seeing I have the chance."

Katrea walked in and closed the door and twisted the tape to full. Cold water dripped from the shower head. Katrea took sometime taking off his scarf and wrappings, but when he was done he stepped into the shower and felt his whole body rejuvenate in the water. As he looked down with his hands on the wall he could see his refection in the water pooling in the shower bottom. His body was a bit decrepit with scars covering all of his skin and his one eye missing, then he felt the empty eye socket. It was his right now that was missing. Odd why did the man in black do such a strange spell on him. Then he saw it and walked out of the shower still in the bathroom looking at the mirror. His eye it was in fact the eye he had lost before he could even remember he knew it to be true.

"What is this" and still even more odd the small veins not visible from afar where purple. This all confused Katrea and now he had to reveal the scar that creped over his eye to his forehead from all the way down at his chin. It was the only scar on his face but it still made him feel sick to look at it. He then got dressed and started to wrap up his body again. He did his head first so he didn’t have to look at is scar there.

Katrea heard Ikki and replied.

"No, I have no money I used what little I had back before I had the trouble in the sand cave."

Katrea walked out fully dressed and said with a smile on his face.

"There is always, the getting a job option."

Katrea had lived in the desert for a long time now and if he has learnt anything, its that someone is always look
ing for a man in his line of work.

"Lets go look, ill pay the hotel back later." Katrea walked over to the window and looked down the drop was not that far and he jumped out landing on the sand.

"Well my friend time, for you to find out what i do"

katrea took ikki around town for a bit not really telling him what they would be doing, every now and then katrea would speak to some one and eventually he came to a man who seemed happy to see and speak to Katrea, he was chubby and had small glasses on that made his face look bigger then it already was.
"indeed sonny, the warehouse is out to the west dug into a mountain, but that dam pack of monsters keeps stealing water and food from the truck."

"i see. what are they?"

"i don't know, they got horns and long tails or somethin like that"

"Ill take the job for 5000gil"

"Done my sonny. Go to the warehouses and say i sent you. take my map"

katrea took the twisted up paper and put it in his belt and turned to ikki,
"You ready for a job?"

Katrea walked to the place the man had pointed to before and said to Ikki as they came to the outer town.

"Ok the Idea is we stay with this shipment till it gets to town then we get paid as the last 3 shipments didn't get to where they were heading.”

They had now walked into the desert and it was dry, there seemed to be no wind blowing at all. After sometime of walking through the sandy planes there was a mountain face up ahead with two large iron doors at the front, but there didn't seem to be any guards.

"Ok this is it lets take a look at it and see if we can’t get in.”

Katrea looked about the planes of sand, there didn't seem to be any monsters around here but you never know in the desert they could be sandjumpers, that pop out of the dunes and bite off your head in a second.

"Why not, just don't brake it or hurt the people inside."

katrea grabbed onto Ikkis shirt and arm and said with a grin

"."

katrea then twisted him around fast and held on tight. He then started to lift ikki off the ground and at the last second let go of his shirt then arm to send him flying at the window."

"Hope my aim was good."

He said as he fell to the ground from the spin.

Katrae climbed the rope quickly, he took a look at the sand as he climbed in to the window.

"Still I do wander what these monsters are."

Katrea then jumped down to the inside of the building and just as the sound of his landing encode through the large room they had fond them self’s in, a voice spoke softly in the back ground, but to quiet to hear.

"What was that?"

Katrea said as he pulled his sword from his back and looked around. Then from doors all around suddenly men with small guns came running out and aimed at Ikki and Katrea

"Freeze"

Shouted one of the trigger happy men as he pointed at Ikki

Katrea looked over as the man spoke.

"Yes we are, what is it you want?"

Katrea put his sword away and said with a smile.

"We where sent by a man in town to help the shipment get there this time. He gave us a map and he had funny glasses on, too small for his head"

Katrea waved the map out as he spoke and waited for some one to say something.

"hahah that sounds right, ok we where just getting ready to leave there is some water at the back there, if you want some and the van here is the cargo we are delivering."

The man pointed to a large truck which Katrea thought to be a wall at first. but moving on from that Katrea walked to the back for a drink. the men had lowered their guns and seemed to be not so worried like it was a relief to know they where getting a bit of help.
