Wings of Aegis I haven't run into any 'hunters'. And if I did, it would NOT be good for me--the inside joke here is that I wouldn't fight back even when a 'bad' spirit was attacking me. I generally won't defend myself. Quote: from what I hear, if you are sensetive you can sense another otherkin by energy. . like, an otherkin will generally have more energy than a normal person. Hmm...I don't know about more energy, thought that does sound fairly accurate. I can 'read' a person's energy signature, it's kind of like their auric fingerprint. I don't have a whole lot of control at this yet, but when someone's frequency hits me, 'what' they are generally is encoded in it. I can tell humans, and angels, but that's it at the moment. And it's not always 100% accurate. But, you CAN sense otherkin by their energy. oh, that is an interesting skill. . the person who told me about the more energy thing, he can read energy signatures as well. . he said that it is possible for an otherkin to not have a whole lot more energy than a normal person, but generally if you have a lot of energy you usually will be something more than human.. . but, how did you learn to read energy signatures? I wonder if you do it the same way as my bf does.. . he senses the energy, and will also get images as well. .

I didn't really suddenly 'learn' it...it's like, I realized that two of the people I'm closest to, give me different feelings when I think of them. So I experimented around with it, and realized that this isn't just something that my memory adds, since it gets STRONGER when I'm in direct connection with the person (Talking to them, in the same room, etc.). And by now, the initial 'wave' just hits me naturally. I think it always did, I just didn't realize it. I get feeling...not images. But, if I wish, I can take that feeling and dissect it. Then I might get images, colors, sounds, emotions, numbers, words...you name it. What I get...is like taking an entire orchestra piece, and condensing it down into a split-second. It just sounds like a quick blip of noise...but if you dissect it, slow it down...it's so much more.

It is really interesting how you never even know you can do something untill you just try to do it, or try to make sense of something you are already doing.. my freind was telling me about a freind of his that he sensed had something odd about him. . so, he showed me the pic, and I tried to read him, not really expecting that I would get anything..but, wow, was I wrong!. . now, i am not so good at this at all, but, I just looked at his pic, and then I started to feel all this energy. . and, I could feel my will being suppressed eek . . it was really weird. . so, I told my freind that I felt the guy was overwelmingly powerful, and asked if he was what I got from his pic, controlling, dominating, very strong will, egotistical, etc. and it turned out he was. . I took the pic to my bf who reads energy signatures, and he identified what the guy in the pic was(kin), which what I thought he was. I could sense him becuase he was blatently insanely powerful, it was just seeping off of him, and I had heard of that race before, so when I felt that it clicked. . but, I usually cant really tell that great with people that arent so blatently powerful. . well, yet anyways. sweatdrop do pictures work for you?.. I have actually met several people that can read or see auras and energy with pics. Last night someone tried to read my pic to tell about my energy and was very accurate. He actually picked up something that I was shocked he did. 3nodding

I wonder what I'd do if a hunter came up to me... first shot gun to the face, (no not a gun my jutsu move) then..if he isn't dead, a wolf claw... and if he isn't dead after that... I don't see that... my friend used wolf claw and broke a boulder, sooo... wolf claw would most likely work mrgreen us martial artists should be "otherkin hunter, hunters"!!

I usually do tarot and vision readings just by reading what someone wrote, and sort of piggy backing that energy back to the source, the person. . a pic works for me too, and both usually make it even easier. I dont have much control over things right now either, but am working on it. . sweatdrop

I'm finding it exceedingly easy to read people's emotions. My girlfriend is the onyl one that really takes some work. She's had a very difficult past and works very hard to conceal her emotions. I seem to be the only one who sees through the mask she wears so i know i'm doing pretty good with this.

If I may interject here...
True hunters do not exist on the physical plane. A real otherkin hunter exists solely on the astral plane because it is the biggest gathering of otherkin. I've been harrassed before by the christian club down the hall from my psychology class but I wouldn't label them as hunters. They are just a bit ignorant is all. I'm not saying that people who wish to go out and kill otherkin on the physical plane are completly unheard of and I'm sure many have encountered them but there are many more on the astral plane. Usually though they wont come after you for a bounty or anything, they are just a clan and if you do something to anger one of them, the whole team comes after you. So as long as you don't go around pissing off every thing you meet on the astral plane you shouldn't hear or see much of them.
