Watcher quickly moves his head in front of him taking the attack. Luckily thanks to his ability the attack was rendered ineffective. Giddeon let out a long sigh. He really was not in the mood to deal with some punk but clearly, he was not being given a choice. He would just have to battle him and then report him later. "Fine, we can battle. Just leave me alone after. Watcher gets ready." He walked to the other side to create a battlefield away from the cemetery. His Pokemon flew down ready to fight. "One on one, fine with you? You just wanted to see who has the stronger Noctowl right?" He was really hoping that this would satisfy whoever this guy was.

"Battle?" Ross asked with a hint of confusion. What was with everyone and wanting to battle all the time? Clearly his intentions had been mistaken. He opened his mouth to say something more, but shut it. No, that was fine. They would battle... for now. This could be beneficial. "Alright, we'll have it your way. Noctowl, Fly!"
Noctowl flew quickly up into the sky.
Location: Hau'oli Cemetery with Giddeon. Wearing/Possessions: White long-sleeved shirt, black sweatpants, black and white sneakers, green backpack.
Crystal and her pokemon were resting in their room. She wasn't wanting to make her wound worse than it was. Crystal had ordered some food for them and it had just arrived. She had a suite that for her and her pokemon to stay in privately.
Crystal sees Yuki sleeping next to her and Sebastian was nestled beside her as she ate her food and left the pokemon food for them to eat when they wanted. She sighs as she looks out the window, wondering what she wanted to do. She wasn't much of a trainer, and contests didn't seem like a lot of fun to her or her pokemon. She smiles as Sebastian looks up at her. "I'm fine, Sebastian. Just thinking." she says as she smiles at the shiny Zorua.

He watched as the owl Pokemon flew high into the sky. He had no moves to counter this while he was in the sky right now. He stopped to think before deciding he would have to be ready for when it came down to land the attack. "Watcher, land." The Pokemon landed without any doubts and looked up into the sky. "Get ready for when it comes." He said hoping his idea would work. He had not had a real battle in a long time but he still had a few tricks up his sleeve. He had another hand on another Pokeball feeling it might be needed for him to leave after the battle.

Ross
Ross eyed the enemy Noctowl and trainer, wondering what they were up to. It was too late to stop his own Noctowl's Fly attack though, especially when he did not know what he would be stopping it for. If Noctowl got hurt, oh well; That was what Pokemon Centers were for.
Noctowl reached a sufficient height and then turned around and pinned his wings back to dive down. He would collide directly into the enemy Noctowl.

He stood there and watched the battlefield. He and his pokemon waited, staring at the spot it would come from. Soon the wait was over as it started to make its descent to deliver the attack. Now was the moment. "Extrasensory! Now!" The Owl's eyes glowed and it opened its mouth unleashing the multi-colored beam at the Pokemon to hit it while it was locked on performing the attack. He watched hoping for a favorable outcome as he got another Pokeball ready to go along with the one he already had.

(OOC: I'm going to use the RNG to determine if Extrasensory causes Ross' Noctowl to flinch. It's a 10% chance, so I'll roll 100 and a number of 10 or under means he flinches.)
Ross
Noctowl was struck by Extrasensory as he had no way to dodge it, but as he was locked into his flight path, he would still finish his Fly attack and collide with the enemy Noctowl. After finishing the attack, he would hover at a neutral point in the air to wait for another command.
Ross could not tell how injured his Noctowl was, but he would push it until it fainted if need be. Hopefully the other man's bird fainted first. "Confusion!" he commanded. Noctowl's eyes lit up as he used Confusion on the enemy Noctowl.

Chris was sleeping behind a large tombstone in the Hau'oli Cemetery until a Pokemon battle woke him up. The vampire yawned as he decided he should get up anyway. He stretched and a pain in his left side made him gasp, "I must have slept wrong.” Chris whispered before peeking over his “hiding place” and saw two mean fighting. The man decided to duck back down and wait for the battle to be over so he could come out of hiding. Chris was still terrified of almost everything due to what happened to him in the cave so he didn’t want anyone spotting him and striking up a conversion.
The vampire sighed softly as he hoped neither man saw him and took out one of his three pokemon balls, this one contained his level 43 Cofagrigus, he might not be strong enough but if things got to dangerous for Chris, hopefully Spooks, the Cofagrigus could at least scare them off.

Typhlosion had been keeping watch on the battle from where he was laying. From his periphery, he saw something appear from over one of the tombstones and this made him jump up to his feet and look more closely at it. It was a scrawny, pale man. Where had he come from? Was he a zombie?! No, no, that was ridiculous. But he might be someone who was looking to butt into the fight or jump Ross from behind. The man had ducked back down into hiding behind the tombstone, but Typhlosion arced around and walked up behind the man. The man had let a Cofagrigus out of his Pokeball. That did not deter Typhlosion, though he stopped at a further distance than he would have if this had been a human by himself. "What are you doing?" the Pokemon asked with a rumble of a growl in his throat. He knew the human would not understand him, so his words were mainly directed at the man's Cofagrigus.

His Noctowl is hit hard by the fly. Before he can give a command the enemy used another attack hitting his Noctowl again. "Hang in there! Use Roost." Watcher started to relax as it felt its energy return to it. "Now follow up with Moonblast!" The owl Pokemon focused an orb of energy. It unleashed the orb of energy at the foe. However right as it did something caught its eye as it quickly sideglanced. Though he refocused on the battle for now.
When Spooky was set free from his ball, he could feel how nervous his master was but before he could see what was making the vampire afraid, he heard a growling voice behind them. The Cofagrigus didn’t turn around to see what it was since he didn’t want to alarm Chris even more but spoke nonetheless, “My master is scared so I am just here to protect him, why don’t you go back to where you came from and leave us alone.” He said answering the Typhlosion before placing a shadowy hand on Chris to let him know he is here if things get out of hand.
Chris had his back up against the tombstone with his knees up to his chest and his head was down as he prayed that the battle would hurry and end but when he heard a growl from a pokemon, the vampire lifted his head to see what it was. A frown was upon his face when he saw it was a Typhlosion, he was scared of fire but it slightly went away when he heard spooky speak to him, although he couldn’t understand what they were saying, the reassuring hand on his shoulder from his Cofagrigus told the man everything was alright. “Hi there, I don’t mean harm, just want to get out of this place with no trouble,” He spoke softly to the other pokemon before placing his head back down as he waited for the people to leave.

"No you don't!" Ross said when he saw the enemy Noctowl using Roost. "Confusion again!" Ross' Noctowl used Confusion but was too late to stop Roost, and then he was hit by Moonblast in return. He fell to the ground in a flutter of feathers and did not get back up. Ross groaned. He returned Noctowl to its Pokeball. "Useless bird. I should get a better Pokemon." He was about to reach for another Pokeball when he saw that Typhlosion had found something. He looked that way and could see a Cofagrigus sticking out from behind a tombstone. And a human? Ross thought he heard a man speaking. He grinned, a gleam in his red eyes. He looked at the trainer with the enemy Noctowl. "Fine, guess you won, so go now. Go back to whatever weird stuff you were doing with your camera in a graveyard." He turned and approached the tombstone.
Typhlosion determined that this trainer sitting up against the tombstone was scared for some reason. His body language said as much. His Pokemon was trying to defend him. Perhaps Typhlosion would not have bothered with them if left to his own devices, but he saw that Ross had noticed them and was coming this way. Typhlosion snorted smoke from his nostrils. "You're too late. You should've run while you had the chance."
Ross jumped up on top of the tombstone and stood on it as he peered down the other side to see the Cofagrigus and its trainer. He grinned. "Did you like our battle, you little peeping tom? That's a nice Pokemon you've got." He grinned but his voice sounded like that of someone who was about to start trouble.

Giddeon was satisfied with the victory he got. He noticed he was ready to send another Pokemon despite his win but then stopped and after a few unpleasantries left to see what his Pokemon was looking at. He looked to be harassing someone who was just watching the battle. He guessed he assumed he would be an easier target. However, he noticed his Noctowl watching him very intently. Noctowls were good at picking up the supernatural he learned once. Shutting his eyes he used his powers to reach out and find out about him. Seems Noctowl was onto something. He could tell he was not really human, he was something else. While the guy he battled was unpleasant this new guy could harm him. The supernatural world is not one to be taken lightly. Making sure he would not notice he let out Witch and Banshee. The two could work together to create something that would hopefully help everyone get out of this alive. "Alright, you two. Get ready. If things go bad we will need to break this up." The two of them nodded and watched with him ready to go. He waited for an opportunity to pull off his plan.
When the battle was finally over, the vampire was about to sigh with relief before he saw his Pokemon tence up when the fire Pokemon said something to him and right on cue one of the men from the fight leaped on top of the gravestone he was hiding behind. Chris jumped to his feet and took a step or two away from the marker as he listened to the human's "harsh" words. He was about to put Cofagrigus back in his ball and high tail it out of there but then this kid said he had a nice Pokemon with a smile that would make the devil proud.
The former Pokemon trainer looked at Ross and growled loud enough for both him and Giddeon, whom Chris didn't know was watching him closely, to hear before looking at the one who just spoke to him like he was the trouble maker here, "I am not a peeping Tom…You woke me up while I was sleeping and as to my Cofagrigus…I may not be all too brave to fight just for me but if you hurt him….I will have to attack since he is my family!" As he said this the vampire stroked Spooky's head. "Now all I want to do is leave, do you think you can let me go elsewhere without a fight?" Chris asked with a slightly raised eyebrow.

Ross was fully aware that he had turned his back toward his prior opponent and that he might attempt to attack him from behind, so he held that expectation in his mind; although he did become a bit distracted in his interaction with the pale man on the other side of the gravestone. He laughed at the man. "What kind of weirdo sleeps in a cemetery? What, are you a zombie?" He continued to grin, red eyes still gleaming. "You're confused, it's supposed to be the Pokemon who defends the human." The trainer was going to attack to protect his Pokemon? This was fantastic! "No, I don't think I can," he told the man, refusing to let him leave. His malicious grin remained the entire time. "You heard him, Typhlosion. He wants to fight instead of his Pokemon! Flamethrower!" Typhlosion opened his jaws and spewed fire out, aiming at Chris.
Ross then let out another Pokemon; the Seviper materialized on the ground beside the grave marker upon which he still perched. "And you, watch the other guy in case he gets any stupid ideas!" he commanded it.
Seviper did as she was told. She turned and watched Giddeon and his other Pokemon. Oh Arceus, there were three of them! Seviper wondered if she would be able to slip away if things got hairy.
