Not really a catch.

"You do have to keep visiting your homeworld after your transcend." He supposed that was a catch, but it had never really seemed like one to Encke. "It's how you keep those reserves full, whether it be for energy or for more power. Your homeworld is what gives that to you," he rubbed his neck. "That's not really a catch, though? It's your planet. Your home."

The infomercial was working. He could tell.

Especially if she thought it sounded too good to be true.

"Why wouldn't you want to go?"

"Depends on what your planet needs." His best guess was something to do with the ruins, to be honest, but what his planet needed and what her planet needed could be very different. In reality, it was hers; whatever she did to restore it would probably be right.

He was excited she was so excited about space, excited that she wanted to see other places in space too. He spread out his arms with a laugh. "I can go twice a week. Whenever you're ready, I'm ready. Just let me know when you'd like to go?"

Encke wasn't about to whisk her there that night, but when she was ready, he would likely be ready.

He winked. "Sadly, not really sure how much a snow bike costs, but I am pretty sure being bad at hide-and-seek is a good exchange for the benefits, eh?"
