What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of the roses that is near his wings because it is the rose closest to his heart.
Short IC Response: Briar Rose shook his hair away from his face and gazed at the wishing star. The star twinkled brightly like a faceted stone hit with light. The color reminded him of his mothers eyes which had been purple -blue color they were very jewel . His father used to tease his mother and call her his jewel both for her eye color and that she was the the jewel of his heart. Briar missed seeing his parents friendly flirting banter. It had been year since they died but it was not a surprise that when his mother died his father soon followed her. They could not be parted for long and they had to be together both in life and death. Briar missed his family but he hoped to soon be reunited with his siblings. He especially worried about his youngest sister who had always been very ladylike and dainty . He hoped she had grown up into a strong confident mare.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? A little golden star made of unknown material
Short IC Response: "Sam." Chase walked across the wilds, the star abnandoned at a childhood play area. Chase hadn't seen her sister in years though; perhaps Sam was dead, enslaved -- broken.... Chase didn't know, but, Chase did want her 'betyter' sister alive. To see her. The name was enough -- didn't stars see all? Then it saw Chase's nature. Wild, carefree -- then one had Sam -- the gentle one, who... Well.

Chase always did think her sister nurtured a secret Megalomaniacal side. She'd considered so many questions, of course... But Sam. That was all Chase wantyed. Her sister -- the star sought on her own bum marking. They'd been born together, after all.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? Some of Charnette's long hairs wrapped around a bouquet of flowers Veslorurn usually leaves on gravestones.
Short IC Response: A spooky couple approaches a lone gravestone. They look at their offering, then up at the wishing star. Veslorurn places it on top as the mare speaks. "Great Wishing Star, we ask for your blessing for a basket of our own. Our dear friends have known the joys of parenthood along with the hardships. We were there for them and so too experienced them. It's our wish to have a basket of our own too. Even if its not our biological basket, we would still love it with all our hearts."

Who is Wishing?: Claire
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Gregarious by nature but alone by default, Claire is a lonely Soquili. She frequently talks to and plays with herself. She roams the plains in solitude looking for a friend. She longs for a friend she can relate to and have fun with. Her ideal friend would be an Angeni like her but not Pokemon-related, that she can relate to but also learn from his/her differences.

10 Things I Like:
- Angeni (preferred, but cross could be fun, too)
- Wings
- Fluffiness
- Pretty

- Mini
- Aquatic

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? A few feathers from her Angeni wings and drops of her tears.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? Two long tail feathers previously shed
Short IC Response: Grovelling was not in Sarkka's nature. Indeed, it went directly contrary. In this instance however she found herself making an exception and knelt to carefully place the feathers and set a rock atop them to hold them in place.
"My brother." She intoned lowly to the ground before lifting her head to repeat herself to the star. "My brother. When we were foals, there was a flood and we couldn't escape. He was swept away. I've always thought that he was dead, but there have been the dreams....if he's alive, help me find him. Help me find my brother."

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? Itri had been carrying around these bits and pieces that he'd managed to string together for a long time. He'd been waiting for something, but hadn't known what it was until now. He found a smooth, flat rock that seemed to glow under the light of the moon and set his offerings on it: A smooth white stone that seemed to glow in the dark, a couple of beads in varying shades of blues, and the skeleton of a smaller fish. It was a motley collection, but all things that had drawn his eye.

Short IC Response: Blodeuyn hadn’t seen her brother in years, not since their fight about where to move to next. They’d wandered for so long and she’d just wanted to settle in one final place but he’d wanted to continue roaming. And so they fought, and in the middle of the night he’d disappeared without a trace. She just wanted her brother back. “Please help me get my brother back.”

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? A feather from her wings, with a garnet bead on the end.
Short IC Response:
Aurianna quietly slipped up to the Altar and placed her offering down, before kneeling down on all fours, eyes focused on the heavens. She did not miss the male she had thought was her love, before she learned the truth. She stared silently, then quietly prayed "I need to know... our basket, what happened to it... If I can find it, by some miracle frozen in time, or... No, I know that is not possible. So let me ask a possible thing... A child of my own, that would resemble my lost child, Spirits above... I yearn for a child of my own like I yearn for nothing else."

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? A small shell full of burning sage and a thin chain from his tail ornament
Short IC Response: Sweet tobacco smoke curled with the burning sage as it outlined the wishing star. The pipe Colm carried with him hung loosly in his mouth. His family was out there, the stallion was sure of it. They couldn't have all been killed by his stupid mistake. The retired warrior took a long drag on the pipe with a small snort.

"Out of all the spirits, you are the one my tribe has asked very little from," he spoke looking up at the sky with a forlorn gaze, "If my family lives please bring them back. Any of my family." He had cousins, siblings, a mother and father...but all were lost to fire and ruin. He had accidently led invaders to them, his cocky attitude getting the best of him. Though still overconfident, Colm now bent his head to a star he had never acknowledged much less asked favors of. But he was lonely and he yearned to wash the death of his tribe from himself. And finding any family left would start his healing. He needed it.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? Three seeds, which they plant before the star. One will grow into a pink rose (for Rosalyn), one will grow into a yellow rose (for Ambrose) and the third will grow into a white rose (for Rosemary, because she's still a valued member of the family as their mother, even if she didn't come wishing with them tonight.)
Short IC Response: Rosalyn had traveled to the Wishing Star for many occasions. The first time she had wished upon a star, it had brought her together with her brother. Ambrose now stood beside her and they gazed up at the Wishing Star hopefully. The second time, she had brought him with her again, for they wished to see their mother again. He did more wishing on that front that Rosalyn had, because she had only ever felt spited by her mother, but when Rosemary came to them (however of a stressed meeting it was initially) they too became a family again.

Yet, they were still missing a valuable member of their family and someone that Rosemary never really told them much about: their father. She wouldn't even mention the stallion's name, so the siblings new they couldn't bring her along to wish for his presence. They still had no way of knowing if this would work, but they had wanted to try anyway.

"Please, Wishing Star," Rosalyn began. "You've brought my family together again, but there's still someone missing." She looked to Ambrose, who picked up the plea.

"Please, Wishing Star, help us find our father again and make our family a whole at last." And with that, they both contributed a seed to the ground in which the star was shining upon, bright as the moon.
One was a for a pink rose, lovely as the markings on Rosalyn's back and the other was a yellow rose, for Ambrose's desire. They set a third seed, which would grow into a white rose, for Rosemary who would not come, but who was an important member of the family anyway and so needed some part of herself here. With the seeds planted, the two siblings finally turned away,
unsure if their wish would be granted.
