The newcomer to the fight smiled as Kai performed a flawless manoeuvre away from him, "You have more power back than expected in this amount of time. Those scientists are careless to keep you above ground," the man said. Kai wouldn't understand what he meant but below ground level in the facility is where the less controllable subjects resided. Where several other members of Fairy Tail, Sabertooth and other guilds were being kept and they soon expected more, "I guess you live and learn," he continued. He was surprised with how quick Kai's reflexes had gotten in such a short amount of time as he dodged the iron-make wizard's sword and as the blade snapped in the dragon slayers teeth, it was clear a lot of his strength had returned also. Determination was surely part of his motivation to push himself to fight harder regardless of his weakened state; a well-known Fairy Tail trait. Fortunately, the lightning dragon slayer wasn't the only one who was fast. Keeping observant, the guard noticed a bright flash of light heading straight for him. He hadn't realised Kai could summon lightning within the building. Another thing the scientists hadn't put in his notes. The man leapt out of the way, leaving his still-recovering comrades in the line of fire. There was no way he was wasting energy in moving them, he had his own welfare to think of. Turning to Kai, he held his arms out, "Iron-make: Mace!" In his hands a chain appeared which became attached to a large ball covered in spikes. Using all his might, the guard swung the mace towards Kai.

What's in there?," is all Kai could think of after hearing what the elite guard said. "Well, now I know where to go once I'm done with this lot." Kai mumbled to himself as the wizard made a mace out of thin air by using his iron-make magic. Kai braced himself for the upcoming attack. Luckily, the mace was moving slow enough for Kai to easily jump on top of it and blitz himself across to the other side. Kai emerged once again above the guard with his hands tight together and electricity emitting from them in a furious manner. "Come on now! You gotta do better than that! Lightning Dragon's Jaw" Kai brought down his lightning-imbued hands to slam down on his opponent, causing a crater around them in the process. ◇◈◆◈◇◈◆◈◇ ϟOOC: ϟ

Hearing Kai's quiet mumbling, the guard snorted a laugh, "Good luck with that," he said, "It's high security down there and even if by some miracle you did find a way in, you'd never get out again. Besides, you might not like what you find," he smirked. The lightning dragon had been in the facility almost as long as some of his guild mates but unknown to the slayer, they had suffered a far worse fate than he had. The idea of Kai managing to get to the underground holding cells was more than a little pleasing to the iron-make wizard. He was almost tempted to escort him down there.
As the guard swung his mace, he knew from the moment it left the ground that it wouldn't be fast enough. It was a heavy object which was better suited for breaking walls and doors, not for combat. A bad decision. As Kai retaliated with an attack of his own, the guard had to drop the chain of his weapon in order to jump away. However, he wasn't quite fast enough and he found himself on the receiving end of a hard blow to the chest with a powerful fist of lightning with an aftershock that caused the ground beneath his feet to crack. This wasn't good. If the floor were to collapse onto the level below, the dragon slayer would be one step closer to freedom and Master Kimura would be one p*ss*d off lady. Hauling himself to his feet, the man decided snarky comebacks were out of the game now. It was time to get serious. The man placed his fist over his palm, "Iron-make: Lance!" Multiple lances made of sharp iron flew towards Kai with intentions of piecing his skin and holding him in place.

I'm going down there. Stop me if you dare," Kai shouted at the guard and continued, "Besides, I already have a fool-proofed plan to get in there AND get out!" Kai grinned as he bragged of his plan that he had concocted for the past couple of days while in captivity. However, for this plan to work, it was of the utmost importance that he beat these guys, and fast. Kai really didn't want to stay in this place for another second. A barrage of iron spears flew in Kai's direction. They came fast, but Kai was faster. He couldn't help but smirk ever so slightly as he spread out his legs, leaned his back backwards and inhaled very deeply. To the point where his belly inflated like a balloon. "Lightning Dragon's Roar!" A large lightning beam shot out of Kai's mouth as it destroyed all the spears and continued right at the wizard guard. ◇◈◆◈◇◈◆◈◇ ϟOOC: ϟ

The iron-make wizard laughed heartily at Kai's comeback, "Such vigour you have! So full of wild spirit! It just makes this all the more exciting," he said with glee. The statement that Kai had already formed a plan brought even more joy to the guard as his determination to beat the dragon slayer heightened. It had been a long time since he'd had so much fun. Though it seemed that fun was also mixed in with slight irritation as his target dodged all of his iron lances and aimed a roar in his direction at close range. Attempting to jump out of the way, the guard wasn't quite quick enough and the blast caught the left of his torso as he tried to jump to the side. Hitting the ground hard, he growled in annoyance, "You really are something. I can see why Master Kimura wanted you in the first place. You should feel honoured. Especially since your magic is the one that's produced so many semi-successful experiments. In fact, we allowed some of them to go and visit a few guilds recently. From what I hear, Sabertooth are having a fabulous time dealing with one of them," he grinned, referring to the information he'd overheard about Third Street in LA being set alight by a flaming figure who was releasing fire and lightning all over the place. He'd heard nothing of the girl who'd been released in a Republic Square in Austin but he was sure she'd reach the news soon. Hoping his disturbing news would distract Kai, the guard jumped straight into an offensive, "Iron-Make: Arrows!" A shower of sharp iron arrows flew towards Kai.

People, wielding his magic are running amok with his magic. This made him mad. Really mad. But he didn't want to lose his cool and risk getting captured again. Kai simply looked down, his bangs covering his eyes threateningly. Deep in thought, Kai was trying to process all of this. The very idea that these bastards stole his magic and gave it to others, bad people, at that made him sick to his stomach. He wasn't really worried about Sabertooth, as he was confident in their strength. He was certain that they could handle it. Yet still, Kai couldn't help but feel responsible for this. He felt like he had to stop them personally. Now, Kai had another reason to get out of this hellhole. Without looking up, Kai simply moved slowly forward towards the shower of arrows coming his way. Just before the first arrow would hit him, he teleported past them and appeared in front of the wizard. Kai's face was mere inches away from his, as he stared the guard down with wide eyes. "Oh, I wouldn't worry about Sabertooth right now, if I were you..." He said this in a low, menacing tone. Almost whispered it to the guard. Kai immedietly jumped back, placed his fingers on the floor, taking a sprinting position and charged up his body with electricity before charging at the guard, head first. "Lightning Dragon's Sword Horn!" ◇◈◆◈◇◈◆◈◇ ϟOOC: The reason there's multiple quotes is because I tried the 0-6 but immedietly changed my mind after posting ϟ

Whilst the iron-make wizard had been keeping Kai busy, the other guards had reloaded their guns, once again using the non-fatal rubber bullets. As the lightning dragon slayer faltered upon hearing the news of his unwilling and mostly unknown part in the experiments that had been occurring on the levels below him in the building, they took aim, awaiting an opportunity.
The iron-make wizard watched his arrows fly. Even at half-power Kai was proving to be a difficult target but the guard didn't want to give away that he was in any problematic position, "You're doing well for someone who had their magic drained several times. Glad we didn't go for that little lightning mage of yours. She probably wouldn't have survived the first round," he smirked. However, his expression was soon wiped from his face when none of his projectiles hit the dragon slayer. Somehow, Kai disappeared and only when the iron-make wizard saw the shining figure of the lightning-engulfed slayer did he realise what had happened. Kai's head smashed into his, causing pain in the area of impact and a shockwave to run through his body due to the contact with the electricity surrounding him which sent him crashing to the floor. The guard groaned and slowly sat up, "You're certainly getting your speed back," he grumbled. He needed to make sure this battle didn't last too much longer or he woukd likely find himself in a position where he would be facing a near-full powered dragon slayer with a major anger issue. Perhaps taunting him using the experiments wasn't such a good idea.
Behind Kai, the guards had been waiting patiently for I'm to come into range, "Fire!" one of them shouted as all four released a round. At the same time, the iron-make wizard joined the barrage of attacks, "Iron-Make: Sword!" he cried, leaping at the lightning dragon slayer, intending to slash him and cause blood loss in order to slow him down.

He dodges them easily, but doesn't pay atention to how many they were, until 2 of them hit him on the abdomen and leg. Again, it didn't even make Kai flinch, as jumped really high and came down on the wizard guard with a hammer-shaped lightning in his hand. "Lightning Dragon's Hammer!"◇◈◆◈◇◈◆◈◇ ϟOOC ϟ

The guards were only able to momentarily smile at their semi-success at hitting Kai with the rubber bullets. It seemed that their effectiveness wasn't as accurate as they were lead to believe.
Kai was slowly recovering his strength. This was obvious; painfully obvious as the iron-make wizard failed in his attempt to leap aside from the next attack which came surprisingly quickly from the lightning dragon slayer. Unfortunately the corridor was too narrow of an area for him to completely avoid the large hand hammer. He grunted in pain as it hit his shoulder, sending electricity through his body in a powerful shockwave. However, it didn't quite knock him off of his feet. "You're becoming more than a little annoying, seventy-nine," he said, purposely using the boy's number instead of his name to anger him. The more someone was angered, the more likely they were to lose focus. He swung his iron sword again, aiming to maim the slayer's arms. It seemed he used them for a lot of his spells, so he was determined to cut them until they hurt too much to use. Though this would be difficult due to the incredible resilience him and his kind had.

This resulted at a semi-successful dodge from his swing with the sword. While it was intended to maim Kai, it instead grazed his arm and left Kai with a bleeding arm. It didn't affect Kai much, though, as he was able to ignore the tiny sting left from the attack. Realizing that he shouldn't lose his focus and to stay composed during this intense battle, Kai simply ignored what he had just heard and continued to fight for his life... and his freedom. Kai sharged his arms and proceeded to charge at the guard, hoping to electricute him and send him flying in the process with a "Lightning Dragon's Wing Attack!"◇◈◆◈◇◈◆◈◇ ϟOOC ϟ

Kai was becoming more and more of a problem. His power was returning, as was his speed, agility and determination. Even though the iron-make wizard managed to make contact with his blade, it didn't make much of a difference and he paid the price for not hitting his target well enough when the dragon slayer released another attack that hit him full force. He was moving too fast but it wasn't over yet. He wouldn't let this brat get the better of him, "Little b*stard," he growled, creating a second blade on his other hand and rushing forwards.
