King James shifted his gaze to the boy “You've got a big voice for one your size”. The kid seemed quite sure of himself but his demands weren't that far fetched. “Esta?” He hadn't heard much from them over the years and had just assumed they drifted apart. It happened sometimes after big events. If you slay our murderer, or bring him back to me, I'll handle it.” He waved his hand and a young girl dressed in plain clothing moved to his side “Note that for me” She scribbled on her parchment, bowed and retreated. He scratched his scruffy chin as he considered the second part. Restore them? He could send them the gold and give them the supplies but ultimately it was the people who decided. He wasn't sure how a discussion like that with a boy would go. He sighed and leaned forward to rest his arms on his knees. “come here boy.” he called to Gyel and motioned with a finger. With the other hand he gestured at the guard to return to his post. He had the two beside his throne and his own daughter in the room so he didn't feel as though he was taking a risk.

“Father...?” Rey asked with slight confusion but she was silenced just as the guard had. She looked over to the blond at her side. Other than the strange story about a theft, she was surprisingly quiet about all of this. The blond's eyes were zoomed in on the child. She couldn't read the expression but it wasn't friendly. Was she going to have trouble already? She needed all the help she could get but maybe it was too risky with tribe members? She sighed and rubbed her temples unsure of what the King was up to.

'He's trouble Yunari thought to herself. The scar on his neck and the mention of that tribe. He was just a child but as the king beckoned him forward, her body grew tense. She could feel the palms of her hands heat slightly but nothing had sparked yet. She didn't want to cause trouble where there was none but an innocent man wasn't generally branded a traitor.

“If you keep glaring like that, you're going to set that kid on fire” Ray teased and lightly tapped the blond's shoulder. Yunari snapped her attention to Rey and pushed her arm away with the back of her hand. Raven stepped back slightly.

“We work towards a common goal, but we are not so friendly that you can touch me as you please. I don't know what you're thinking, but that boy, I wouldn't trust him.” Yunari spoke in a hushed tone as to not be overheard by the others in the room. She took a slow breath to calm herself and better mask her emotions before turning her attention back to the boy. What were they talking about?

“ I don't know you but I'm sure your presence here today is an omen.” The king stated with a heavy sigh. He stared the boy down for several moments before continuing “What do you hope to achieve? You were brought here by money but plan to keep none of it. I don't understand your motive” He glanced over to Rey for a moment unsure about sending her out with such an omen. He would have to add a bit of his own detail to her group if necessary. “For such a scrawny boy, you've got a pretty big voice. Do you think you have enough strength to bring in this murderer? You're talking about killing a person, heh well some think it a beast. Maybe that would be better“ He watched the boy carefully though it yielded no information. Whatever the boy was thinking, was lost to him.

Lyna glanced back at him with a small tear in her eye remembering her beautiful staff made out of the rarest white wood the way it was twirled and twisted around to make a fine point with a small emerald in close in the head. " you haven't heard It was taken from me" shrugging off the thought and pushed back the tear she wouldn't let him off all people see her up set she wasn't that little girl anymore! She was just as strong with out her staff the only differences was she had to be touching the person she wanted to heal now and not just be around them.

She saw the confused look in his eyes "Ren" she said with a sigh " I couldn't save him I tried but he wouldn't let me I was to late" she said chocking back more tears. " We where out on a hunting party my father and I and out of no where this thing appeared it cast our weapons away and struck him and then with in that moment it was gone again." I'm sure my father protected me in that last moment but I couldn't fix it. "..Then he was gone I tried to heal him but he was already gone and so was his sword and my staff."

After that no party wanted her because she couldn't heal the mass she could still use a bow better then most but there where many more that where stronger so they disbanded her after all she did to help them they, they still couldn't find a place to put her.

There was a long pause before she realized the men behind him getting made and overwhelmed by all the people now crowding the street. "What are you doing here anyway and with so many guards it's really unlike you to have so much protection?" she said with a small smile.

Gyel took a step closer to the King, though he did not bow before him. He stood there, he had been in the presence of mighty people and a king was no different. His green eyes starred at the King, almost empty if not for a deep fire that burned of hatred and contempt. "I have no desire for riches, but I don't want Esta to be forgotten for a mistake in judgement to turn for becoming assassins at one point." He said calmly as though he was not standing in front of a King, but a man his equal.

He took a step away from the King, his hand clapped together and a soft glow appeared around his body. The guards in the room almost leaped forward, however stopped as Gyel spread his hands apart and a blue stream of lighting echoed between his two palms, his eyes continuing to stare at the King. He knew that the King would know this power, a power which was feared and respected in the tribe of Esta. His hands dropped to his sides, his skin burnt badly from the use of direct power contact. "I will kill this 'being' and you will pay my terms." He stated his eyes glancing towards the guards who had drawn their weapons, but awaited for the King's response.

The sound of dripping blood came from Gyel's open wounds, but slowly just as before the skin healed itself. He knew he wasn't as powerful as he had once been, once he had been forsaken by his tribe he had lost the term of control over his powers but he knew he was a strong enough person to make those around him acknowledge him. He turned on his heel in a swift movement and went back to join the women he was accompanying. He didn't bother to look back, he knew that some of the guards had lost their nerve, his powers weren't something you saw in the outside of his tribe and likely only known by King and those who he trusted. He had shown his hand, his hidden trump card in order to make sure the King knew that he was not filling himself with big words, but actually action. "Let's go." He said calmly as he passed the girls, continuing to the door. His foot steps as silent as the night like an assassin.

“Hmmm” King James frowned and folded his hands in front of his chin. He hadn't heard anything fro that tribe sense the formation of his nation. To see this boy and his ability, it was unsettling but bound to happen sooner or later. He watched as the boy displayed his power and chuckled softly. As the boy walked away from him, he leaned back in his throne and watched after him. The boy joined the two girls but kept walking, clearly this group had just been thrown together by his daughter's whimsical ways. Raven trotted after Gyel until she caught up and picked up her pace so she could take the lead once more. She didn't want to be over shadowed after such a show down with her father.

The blond, however, strayed behind for a moment longer. She glared up at the King on his throne “You can fool the rest of the world, but you will not fool me. It will kill and feed and kill again until you return what you stole.” The man showed her no openings and kept his face as unreadable as stone. He waved a hand towards the guards and they moved in a little as she was non-verbally dismissed by the man. A low growl escaped her but the woman turned on her heel and followed after the pair who were now leaving her behind.

“And Ray, Make sure you speak with the guard. I think a little extra detail wouldn't hurt.” Raven heard her father fall behind her as the grand hall doors closed. The dark haired woman groaned in response and rolled her eyes. She didn't want to deal with anyone her father held close. They would likely report all her actions back to him and then she would never get out of his grasp.

“What's that place you spoke of? Esta? Is that where you're from?” Gyel had almost seemed sad when speaking of them. She couldn't put her finger on it but there had to be a much bigger story behind all of this. Hell the boy didn't even react well to his own name when he introduced himself to her. “Oh and your pay. Are you a few coins a day kind of guy or did you want a lump sum.” She didn't know if he still wanted gold from her with the job they now had. She'd pay him to tag along with her but she wouldn't force him to.

Yunari kept to herself at this point. She followed two steps behind the others and her eyes bore holes into the back of the young man's skull. Would he kill them all as they slept? Or maybe he was going to kidnap Raven. The ransom would likely be high. She hadn't seen his ability but from the way the kind and his daughter acted around him, it was a powerful one. The people to the south were once very strong, wielding dangerous but beautiful abilities. Was this boy the same? She looked down at her empty palm and bit the inside of her lip. Would she be strong enough to take him on if he decided to turn true to the mark on his neck? She could control her powers but they were linked with her emotions which often caused trouble. The other spellbounds called her a walking natural disaster but they weren't here now.

“And you, blondey, what's your name? This is Gyel and I'm Ray. If we're going to be working together, I think we should know at least that much.” Raven glanced over her shoulder at the strangely silent woman.

“Yunari of the Spellbound, Flame of the North and child of the lost.” she rattled off her name in a soft tone and forced her eyes to shift from the boy to the woman. “Do you have a plan, princess?”

“Just Ray... and yes actually. We'll have to wait till dark 'cause that's when the murders happen. Every good mission starts with some investigating.” She wasn't sure what the addition at the end was about but she'd heard of the spellbound from her father. They were a superstitious tribe wrapped in mystery. Her father once referred to them as crazy kooks but this woman looked very sane.

Gyel's fell into step with the woman in front of him, his mood had turned sour even the taste in his mouth was sour. The King had not reacted to his power and he knew that meant the man likely had run into his father. His hand raised to his chin as he began to mutter to himself, his body move in toe with the girls not once missing a step and even taking caution to avoid a rock on the ground. Though his thought was broken as the woman known as Raven spoke to him.

His eyes glanced up towards the two and thought for a moment before responding only to hear the blond respond about her background. 'Spellbound' he had heard of that before, but to actually meet one he was surprised. They mostly kept to themselves and were rumored to be rather strong.

"Kind of.." He trailed off in thought of how to continue. "Esta was once a tribe that had helped the King to form this nation, it is said at that time the tribe had no equal in power." His voice trailed off, but he stopped and starred at the two women in front of him. "But they were power hungry and turned to assassinating however paid the highest price and the King turned his back on them, and we fell into a world of darkness." He thought for a moment before taking out his coin purse and throwing it towards Raven.

"I don't care about your money, the King will uphold his word, buy me some new clothes if possible something dark." He said with a smirk as he pulled his hair back into a ponytail, and wrapping it with a piece of cloth from his clothes. It wasn't until he did this, that you could see the scars around his neck and likely those that continued down his body under his clothes, the X simply the newest over older ones. He pointed towards the blond "Try to keep up, I would like to end this tonight." He said with a tone of inpatients.

He had never cared to be a team for anything, and these two woman were likely inexperienced in to much combat, so if it came down to it he would likely save Raven, he likely wouldn't get a reward if the Princess dead, so it would leave the blond up for grabs and if it came to it a good time to strike the blow to whatever they were facing. His mind was already in methods of combat outliving each experiences whether it beast or man.

Ren sighed and rubbed his face, she had always been like this. It saddened him to hear about her father's passing, but it was likely to happen with all the hunts the man had taken on of recent. He motioned his hand for his men to go on ahead, at first a few of them looked around in question, but his next in command took the helm and marched them forward.

Ren smiled as he extended his hand towards Lyna. "Lets go get your staff." He said, the likely of them find it was rare, but he knew that they could do it if they hurried to the location, and this way Lyna got some revenge with his help. His smile was true enough as he starred at her for a moment before tilting his head.

That sounded like her father alright. He'd mentioned something about an our of control tribe. They were powerful and at one point angry for some reason. He didn't give her any details other than he'd cut ties with them after the formation of Hammerash. That was about the time he'd met her mother, a woman from one of the many tribes that inhabited their islands. She had no memories of the woman, as she died giving birth to Ray, but she liked to make up little stories in her mind about who she could have been. This all made her wonder if maybe this boy left his people because of their ideals. She turned to continue her questioning but her voice was cut off as Gyle threw something at her. Raven didn't move to catch it. Her mind flashed back to her training as a child. When things were thrown at her she had to move. It was the most painful and unforgettable memory she had. The violet of her eyes glowed for a brief moment and three dark, whip like, tendrils shot out from under her dress. They caused the fabric to sway slightly as they swatted the coin purse to the ground.

Had she not been looking, Yunari would have missed it. The black things vanished just as quickly as they arrived leaving only the swaying of Ray's dress to indicate that anything had been there. She stepped back and her hand slid around to her back where she had a concealed weapon. Neither of them had seen what the princess could do and from the blank expression on her face, neither did Ray. The blond glanced down and watched several coins roll across the ground. One bumped into Ray's foot and pulled the woman back to reality.

Ray's eyes widened as she looked from Yunari to Gyel and then down to the coin purse. She bit her lip and immediately went to gather the coins “I'm sorry... here just one second” She retrieved the pouch and carefully reclaimed the coins. “I'm such a klutz.” She laughed nervously and Yunari slowly brought her hand back around. It seemed like everything was normal but for that one second, she'd felt a chill down her spine. This princess wasn't as frail as she appeared to be.

The blond turned her head up and eyed Gyel silently. Did he know? He'd been with the woman longer than she but everyone had their secrets. She decided not to ask about it. Instead she let out a sigh and shook her head. “I don't know how you two plan to deal with this, but i'm going to look at the last murder site.” If people were only dying at night, she had some time to spare before the killer showed themselves. The boy was too eager and the number of scars littering his body told a story of war. This boy was not a child, no matter how you looked at him. She would not be fooled by him. There were children in her tribe that could kill a full grown adult. Why would it be any different in another tribe? Especially one with such a shaded story. They were good people once, or she'd been told. Her tribe was very isolated. They mostly kept to themselves. Her home, the Forest of the Lost, was a place no stranger would dare enter. It was rumored that the trees moved at night and swallowed those who strayed under their canopy. It was her home.

Ray watched the blond as she began to walk away. Yunari was a strange person indeed. She sighed softly and stood back up as she finished collecting the coins. She glanced to Gyel and then to the pouch. There was probably enough in there for a few outfits and meals too. Why did the red head look so worn? “Let's get you something to wear then...” She knew a person who could help with that. She tapped her foot on the ground and began to walk once more, in the opposite direction of the blond.

Lyna watched as Ren's men walked passed them. Lyna looked back at Ren she could almost see the boy she once played with in the court yard of the castle before he became a knight and always thought he knew what was best. she sighed " We won't find it my father died two weeks ago plus they won't let me in close to that sight now because there doing an investigation".. Lyna paused for a moment realizing she was talking to one of the highest knights in the kingdom. "oh Ren? you could get me in there right then I could at less see if theirs tracks to follow?. She said with a half smile, cursing to herself inside, here we go again begging for help your not a child any more your twenty-one now!

"I don't have much to offer you for your help other then whatever bounty is on that things head that killed my father". Lyna new he was just helping but she would give him something for helping her it was the right thing. " come on" Lyna took his out stretched hand and began waving thought the the crowd she wasn't tall she only stood about 5'2 so moving fast though large groups was easy. " glancing back at Ren in his knights armor he seemed to be struggling to keep up she laughing. " seemed like you cant keep up with me anymore got all this nice new stuff and it slows you down". Lyna looked forward and saw the gates of the kingdom.

Gyel's expression did not change, his body had not moved for a good moment after the signs of power the woman known as Ray had showed. His right hand was behind his back and you could see his muscles had slightly tensed, though if you were looking at him he appeared normal in the sense of the word. He glanced towards Yunari, but she showed a even more lost look on her face, likely an expression of the unknown. A soft crackle was heard before Gyel took a step forward to follow Ray.

His right hand dropping to his side, a spark flickered out of existence. He had prepared himself for if Ray's power had gone out of control, but if you noticed his X scar had shown a sign of renewal almost like it was punishing him for the use of his powers. Though Gyel showed no sign of pain or acknowledge to this matter. His eyes focused on the back of the Princess, almost unnerving as he moved with her.

As he passed Yunari he glanced towards her. "Be sure to meet with us later, I'd hate to take all the credit." He said as a smirk spread across his face and continued with Ray. He was taunting the woman, and he was sure it was likely getting under her skin.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 19, 2016 7:04 am

“Do you know your measurements?” Ray asked as they moved down the road. She kept a brisk pace as she figured he didn't want to spend much time on this business. Gyel, thought willing to help, seemed like he didn't really want to. Was he only in this for the money? No matter how much she thought about it her questions just went in a big circle, leaving her at the start line once more. “If not I'm sure Yuri will figure it out. He's a master with a needle.” Her was a much older man, one from the old world. From time to time, when her father allowed it, he would tell her stories of how things use to be and a strange device known as a microwave. Her father didn't like talk of the old world. They were here now, she was born here and that was just how things were.

Ray turned down a shaded path and then ducked into the first store she spotted. The entire row of buildings were shops but this first one was decorated with cloth and several displays of dresses and pants. The inside was much darker than the outside. Fabric rested on every available surface and there were three or four projects still being worked on. As Ray opened the door a small bell chimed and a dim light filled the room. An old man with thick spectacles sat behind a pile of cloth working diligently on what looked like a dress. When the lights came on he perked his head up and found Ray, he wouldn't be able to see Gyel due to his piles of clothing. “Ah, princess... I already had your father's shirts sent to the castle. Were they not satisfactory?”

Ray held up her hands and shook them in front of her with a little laugh “No, they're perfect Yuri, they always are. No I need something for my friend here. He wants something dark” The older man frowned and stood up to peer over one of his many piles of cloth so that he could see the young man.

“It's been a long time sense I've seen such a violent shade of red.... come closer child so that I can get a good look at you.” He pushed his thick glassed up the bridge of his nose and carefully slid out from behind the table. He was an older man, late sixties, with a lean body and poor posture due to his old bones. He held his back with one hand and the table with the other as he walked around the counter to get a better look at Gyel.

------------------------

The only indication she gave that she'd heard the boy was a little wave of her hand. She didn't like him and she wasn't going to give him the pleasure of seeing her upset. It was hard enough to keep her temper under control she didn't need some goading from a kid half her size. Yunari walked down the well kept road. Her feet landed silently on the ground with each step but the soft jingle of bells sounded her presence as the bracelet around her ankle chimed. As she suspected the cite was blocked off but only a lone guard was left to defend it. She slipped around him with practiced ease and made her way up to a large, dark red stain that was left on the ground. “So this is where you ended” She said softly to herself before getting to work. She pulled her long blond hair back into a high tail and wrapped a coarse piece of string around it to hold it in place. This exposed more ink markings of her tribe as they traveled up and down her entire body, back included.

The blond flexed her arms and stretched out so she would stay nimble. The motion showed off her toned muscles from fighting with wild animals. The strangest thing, and probably the reason why people looked down on her, was that she had no scars save for the one that ran from her back right shoulder to her left hip. One could just see the top and bottom poking out from under her shirt. She healed very fast and so most nicks vanished before they had time to leave a scar but the one on her back had been much more serious. She shook her head as she had no desire to think about it.

The blood splatter was huge, or at least much larger than one would have expected for a full grown adult but the condition of the body explained that. Whoever or whatever killed that man did it right here and he took his time. There weren't even any drag marks. Yunai bit her lip and glanced around at her surroundings. “He had a lot of time... and no one saw him?” Or heard the victim cry out. It was a perplexing thought. She would try to recreate it.

Yunari pulled her dagger loose from the back of her pants and held it out as if she were going to strike someone. She struck at the air several times before frowning, lowering her weapon and placing her free hand on her chin. “Throat... he went for the throat first. No screams.... major vein... It's as the chief said.” She'd have to look for more clues.

Gyel followed closely behind Ray, his eyes continuing to watch her every move, he wasn't one to trust people and even less when those people had shown a power he had never seen before or even could control. His thumb and index finger rubbed together as his mind drifted into thought and a soft mumble escaped his lips as he followed her in step, and even without himself realizing it, his eyes were pointed towards the ground and he had fallen into step with the woman. His body acting on its own relaxes and guided by Ray's steps, several times he dodged another person only to fall back into step with her a moment later. He was brought back at the question about measurements, and he spread out his arms in response and then shrugged. He had never been asked that question before, or even a question similar to it, in fact he was pretty sure he was wearing the same clothes he was given two years ago if not longer.

His eyebrow raised slightly, it wasn't common to have nice things in his tribe, they were warriors, assassins, and such things didn't matter as mostly you weren't viewed to have a long life. In fact most of the male children his age, had already died for one reason or another. It was not a tribe of pamper or vague promises it was a war tribe or at least it used to be. Now the woman tended the fields and the men that were left were either old men that could barely get out of their chairs or children younger than him. At the mention of needles his skin grew goose bumps, he hated needles, not that there was much call for them here, he had encountered them several times and they always ended up with him being stabbed. When they arrived at the shop, the old man addressed him with a rather calm nature.

"Can't we just trade for what's on the shelf?"
He said with a small groan, at the time really one of the few times he had shown truly he was just a child. He stood up straight and took a few steps forward towards the man, his hands at his side, but you could see he was tense, his arm muscles grew tight and ready to attack, he was not used to people being kind to him.

-------------------------------------------------

Ren followed Lyna through the crowd, he bounced with her ever step, but gave the impression he was slowing to make her feel better about himself. Several times he was looked oddly at by the brute number of men in the Kingdom, who viewed this as childish and even Ren felt it was childish, but he had a duty to his friends as much as the Kingdom. He slowed however when he came across an empty area and noticed the single Knight guarding it, he questioned it for a moment, before it came to his mind about the killings. He personally had seen several of the bodies and it left him displease in a sense of the word, really displeased at his own inability to find the killer and leaving the King to have to recruit unknowns and even giving the Princess free roam to hunt down the killer.

He moved towards Lyna once and then stopped and turned and headed into the marked off location, he had to see the latest murder, maybe it would give him some sign of the killer or even the weapon used. Passing the guard with no problem, and having a motion for Lyna to follow he came upon the body, it was a blood bath, however what Ren say the most was a blond girl standing over the body with a dagger in her hand.

"What are you doing?" He questioned the blonde, his hand swiftly reached for his sword, and his eyes narrowed waiting for an answer.

fallowing Ren over to what looks like a new crime seen. looking around Ren she see all the blood and the man lying there lifeless, she take in a deep breath pushing back the image of her father once more. She see a blonde girl looking over the body Lyna only hoped the blond didn't know the man she realizes shes holding a dagger. Lyna places her hand on Rens back and softly whispers a single work "slanu" just to make sure he is at his best in case the girl decides to turn and attack. Lyna didn't really feel any danger but she wasn't going to take any chances in this forest again.

she then steps out from behind Ren far enough away she knew she would be safe she stepped around to the side of the blond "are you alright?" "when did this happen?"

She'd managed to cover most of the crime scene and had just begun to examine what was left of the body when she heard a voice behind her. What was she doing? Yunari glanced over her shoulder to look the man over. He was definitely one of the guards, maybe some kind of captain or something but she didn't know how the chain of command worked here. Back home it was simple. The one with the most markings was in charge. The more you had, the stronger you were, which made things very easy. “I'm doing your job” she stated with a chilly tone. “Look how long it took for someone to notice I was here.... no wonder this happened.” She wasn't blaming either of the two but she was still bothered by the redheaded child that seemed to be trying to get under her skin. Maybe he had.

Her eyes shifted to the girl. She seemed harmless enough but Yuanri was learning quickly today that appearances could be very deceiving. “Last night” There was no harm in answering her questions right? She deliberately ignored the first one as her health was no one's business but the rest should be common knowledge to those involved with the case. “Sometime during the night this man's throat was cut to silence his screams so that the killer could go to work. Splatter patterns indicate something sharp and quick but the actual markings on the body point to a more serrated blade.” She held up her own knife to show the difference to the guard before he went getting any ideas. “My blade is smooth. The kill would have been much more efficient if I had done it... this is messy.”

The blond tucked her weapon back into it's sheath and looked down at the body once more ”There is a lot of rage here...There will likely be another murder tonight.” She turned back to the pair once more and shrugged her shoulders “I'm just about done here if you want to survey the scene.”
-------------------------------
“Nonsense” Yuri waved his hand in a dismissing fashion and moved closer to Gyel. He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and carefully freed a long piece of measuring cloth that would assist him in determining the right sized clothes for the boy. “Many, many years ago there was a young man, much like yourself, that came to this kingdom” He explained as he took measurements best he could without actually touching the boy. He could see that the boy was on edge and he didn't want to give him any reason to worry. “They brought him here so that he could go to the castle without getting too many looks as he was from one of the tribes, like yourself.” He didn't know the whole story or even which group Gyel came from but he knew a tribes person when he saw one. “There... I think I've got a few things in your size already.... you're a bit small for a boy your age but I'm sure you'll grow just fine.” Yuri set down his measuring tool and walked away from Gyel. He vanished behind a rather large pile of clothing to search the shelves for what he desired.

“Yuri's been my friend for a long time” Ray explained as the two were left alone. “He likes to tell stories about the past. I hope you don't hold it against him.” she turned her gaze towards where the man had disappeared and sighed softly as a sad expression touched her features for just a second. “We were born here so we don't know about the old world but Yuri...” She shook her head once more and became silent as the elderly man returned. Yuri held out a small stack of clothing to Gyel, most of which was a black or dark blue color.

“I'd like you to try these on. Find one you like and that fits well enough and you can leave the rest back there. I'll clean it up later.” Yuri instructed with a confident nod. It would take too much time for him to make something from scratch and knowing the princess, they had plenty more to do after this.

Rey clapped her hands with glee and slid around one of the tables to look at a dress. “Take your time Gyel. Clothes may not make the man but it's a lot easier to move in something your comfortable in.”

Gyel noted the man did not touch him and was still able to take his measurements rather quickly. He listened to the tale and he might have known the man as well, there was a story in his family that his father had come to the Kingdom, and at one pointed helped the King, but whether or not this was that tale it was too vague and in truth Gyel couldn't imagine his father doing much of anything that would help another person. Gyel's eyes followed the man until he disappeared and then was addressed by Ray. His eyes shifted towards her, but not moving in case the man needed more measurements, while he hated this he wasn't one to not notice someone who cared deeply for what they did. "We are the product of own misery." He said slightly under his breath, something his father had told him man times before.

When Yuri reappeared he was carrying clothes, and Gyel looked at them for several minutes his eyes shifting between the outfits and the two that were with him. He smirked a bit when he noted the princess was feeling up a dress. "Princess." he said with a hush tone with a bit of a laugh. As he felt the last outfit he picked it up and admired it for several minutes. It was beautiful dark that almost shinned, he stripped right in front of the two, his mind not concerned with who was present and dressed back rather quickly. After slipping the pants on he, turned to see how it fit and even once stretched his leg up along his back and grabbed it with his hands, seeing how flexible it was. His upper body was filled with scars, most worn by a few years, but one right across his heart shaped like an X from his neck, was bright red like it had freshly healed. Strapping on the shirt and jacket he admired himself a bit, it fit good and he had to admit it looked great compared to the clothes back in his village.

"I like this one." He stated with a smirk across his face.

She couldn't argue with that statement. It sounded like something her father would say but is sounded strange coming from Gyel. The more she got to know him the less she associated him with his age. He had his moments, but so did she. Ray pulled her hands back as her companion laughed. It made her smile to know that he could do such a thing with his serious demeanor. She looked at him as he was handed clothes but found herself immediately turning away. “Gyel!” she scolded as she turned her gaze away. Unfortunately she hadn't had any warning and her eyes grazed over several scars. Just what had he been through? Ray waited until the sound of rustling clothing subsided to turn back around. She would try to forget what she had seen as it didn't seem like something a person would want to talk about. She lightly touched her head and pulled at her bangs. ' I wouldn't want to talk about it...'

”Ah good choice.” Yuri agreed with Gyel's selection and took to returning the rest of the items he'd brought out. When he returned Ray moved to pay him but he put a hand up to stop her and shook his head. “Don't worry about it. The fact that he likes them is enough for me.” He chuckled and took a seat behind the counter once more so he could return to his work. All that walking around had tired him a little as he was starting to feel his age. “Now don't go getting yourself into any trouble kids. There's all sorts of people out there today.” His eyes met Rey's as he spoke his last statement. He didn't want anyone to get hurt and he knew the princess to be a bit reckless at times.

Rey laughed softly and waved her hand “Don't worry Yuri. And thank you, really” They shared a few more words before she excused herself and stepped outside. She held out Gyel's gold pouch and shook it slightly to get his attention. “Here, you should take this back.” she glanced down the road as she thought about the fastest route to her other companion. She wanted to check a few things out herself before it got dark.
