Tobias knew one thing for certain amongst this chaos; there were Grimm. His heart pounded as he tried to stay beside Yue when the conflict started, but it wasn't long before he darted away. The normally shy teenager had one goal; find out more about his people. His entire life had been not only uncertainty, but also fear. What was he? Who was he? Everywhere he looked there lacked an answer and only provided another question. He was, in the grand scheme of things, nothing. He had no one to rely on, and only other Grimm to question with.
He had spent a lifetime being scared.
And yet, in a whirlwind of yelling and chaos, his answers had arrived. There they stood, shouting as the Headmistress looked increasingly more irritated by the second. He had waited, too afraid to disobey the orders of the Headmistress and instead wiggling before a window to observe. His eyes had spotted a young pair of Nightmare's detach themselves from the older Grimm from the old tribe, and without thought the junior maneuvered to follow them.
He didn't once glance at the strange woman, but instead his eyes locked on the familiar figure of another Grimm. He was the target. He had answers. That boy came from the tribe mentioned, and that meant he'd be the one to tell Tobias everything.
And yet, a crowd began to form around the two once they had settled. He froze, hands wringing together as he watched from afar, mouth tightening into a frown. What was he supposed to do? He wanted, no, needed answers, but the sheer density of the mob before him threw off the Grimm junior. And so, he stood there, far from the crowd and yet within eyeshot, hands pathetically wringing together. What now?

Amy held Iah's hand tightly, unable to see the eruption of activity before her. The blind Grimm could hear however, and the increasingly panicked voices left her fur standing on one end. Something was not right, and it didn't take long for her to tug Iah wherever was quieter. She had ended up tugging her partner towards the area where a couple was surrounded by others, and while she could still hear excited voices, it wasn't as frightened. No, instead it seemed peaceful over here. Maybe here would be easier to get her answers, as opposed to being near where that one very angry man had been.
"Iah, what's going on?" She whispered, squeezing Iah's hand as she cocked her head to the side to listen closer. Her ears wiggled absently before she extended her hand, tapping her walking stick until it touched a bench. The Grimm settled onto the bench, folding her legs before tugging on Iah's hand to join her. Her tail swished in a thoughtful rhythm, body leaning back against the bench as she focused on the commotion before her.

Her friendly demeanor earned a laugh from the grim, lightly thumping his chest in response. "Yup! I sure am his bro, we're twins. Hi, I'm Crispin~" The other stated proudly, in addition offering his name. After a moments pause, he watched as she settled on the grass. There sure were a lot of people gathering around them, and plenty scents he did not recognize. However crowds never did bother the longer haired boy, it was just a chance to socialize and make new friends perhaps!
At least that was what he figured as much. It was hard to tell, the energy of those gathering was fairly restless. It made him shift on his feet uneasily, wondering if he'd overlooked something in all the chaos.
In turn Crispin gave her a searching look, tapping a clawed digit to his chin. "I don't think I know you, but what's your name?" The freshling inquired as a smile formed on his face. While he didn't want to sit down, given his legs were too restless he wanted to engage with her just the same. Sure there was a nagging burning curiosity to hear more about their peoples history was evident, but he wasn't going to ignore her either!
Cris did a little move closer to her as she'd addressed him with a bounce to his step. Myles he was half certain he'd heard him say to Kobe, still had several fairly curious series of looks thrown to him. He'd just wait a sec till the other spoke up before throwing a barrage of questions at him. "It's nice to meet all of you by the way." He added to those gathered.

Woops! I realized that as I reread a few peoples replies, I edited/fixed that regardless. Thanks haha <3

Now that she had gotten the other twin to talk more, it was obvious that this was Kobe's twin--they talked the same! She couldn't help but laugh. His enthusiasm, like his brother's, was infectious. It made the whole day all the better and all the brighter. "Ah see that now! It's nahce t' meet yah, Crispin, Ah'm Melisara. Y'can call me Sara f'r short, if it's easier. Lots of folks call me Sara."
She looked around at the ever-growing crowd--mostly Grimms, but she spotted horns and wings in the mix as well. "Maybe we should all introduce ourselves?" she suggested. Then again, a lot of people were hanging around the edges--chances were, if they wanted to get involved, they would have done so already. No, they all want t' get involved. Otherwahs, they'd fahnd somewhere else t' sit. No, most folks here just want t' listen. She turned back to Myles, the center of attention for the entire courtyard (with the possible exception of the foul-faced Imp-Demon leaning against a column over there).
This was a time for kin for Grimm, and so she was not surprised to see so many Grimm fill the courtyard. All sorts of colors were coming together, from tomato red and orange to black and white. And there were others of other races, too--curious. Why did they care what became of the Grimm? But then again, that's what people at the Academy were always doing: worrying about other people and other races, even when it wasn't entirely appropriate.
Everyone was curious, though, and never was that more apparent than with the ever-growing flock--pack--of Grimm congregating in the courtyard. They seemed to be gathering closer and closer--except for one, an orange fellow who stood on the outside edge. She watched him, watched the folks at the fountain, looked at him once again, then made a decision. Leaving her revenant in the tree, she hopped down from her perch and wove her way through the thickening crowd to where the orange Grimm stood. Silently, she took his hand and pulled at it, trying to lead him closer in to the edge where he could hear better.
This was a time for family and for tradition. He needed to hear what the newcomer had to say.

Foras moved around so that he could be see, and in turn seen, the other Nightmare better. He had left his plushie behind for a change, but instead he clutched a little notebook to his chest and had a little book-bag across his shoulder. He'd been coloring when all the commotion started. His red eyes looked up at the taller Imp hybrid as he spoke, his tail swished back and forth behind him, he was happy to have met someone sort of like himself.
He let out a little sigh of relief that Batholith, as he had introduced himself, didn't seem too concerned by them. "I'm Foras! I'm in House Arkham!" He wasn't sure why he'd said the last part, but it seemed like a good way to introduce himself. He was a little surprised by his next question. Did he like it at the academy? Well...
He'd had a few encounters with some other students his age that were awkward. He'd been called strange a few times, but for the most part he was included. Whether that was on the part of the caretakers or the actually kids though was hard to say. At least he got to work on his drawings though!
He shuffled his feet though, but looked up a bit shyly at the older nightmare. "Other students think I'm a little weird...but I do like it here. I think I want to stay..."

The crowd had grown fast, not that Jezebeth was all that surprised by these other Nightmares were also curious about their guests on campus. They seemed nice enough and she followed after them as they settled over by the fountain, she climbed up to see next to the mysterious Nightmare whom she'd never seen before. She was curious about the Grimm, sure. But she was more curious about this type of Nightmare that she'd never heard about in class before. She had thought the Academy represented all the different races of Nightmares!
Someone suggested they should all share their names, so despite the fact she had already introduced herself she decided to again now that more Nightmares were present. "I'm Jezebeth. It's nice to meet you all." She was all smiles, and seemed to be enjoying herself at least. She didn't really see anything wrong with interacting with these two, everyone was being friendly enough with them so far anyway.

Tobias was about to run away.
His stomach was clenching, writhing around here and there as nausea built up. His answers were there, and yet his fear, his terror, kept him at bay. It was an eternal struggle, body pushing and pulling away from the crowd as his hands dug deep into one another, teeth worrying at his cheeks. Why couldn't he summon the strength to approach? What was wrong with him? Everything he had wanted, everything he had dreamed of was here, and yet he remained a coward.
So he stood, watching his chance fly by with wide eyes and paling skin. He felt warm, throat tightening as he swallowed. Suddenly, it became so real. Was he ready for the answers? What if they too had none? What if it wasn't what he had dreamed of? What if this one moment wasn't worth the years of pain and fear? Panic surged, heart hammering as he made a move to flee.
And then a hand touched his.
His eyes snapped down, the panic apparent as he watched a tiny freshling tug gently on his hand. For a second he tried to pull away, heart hammering faster as he realized she was trying to pull him closer to the group. Yet, this small act of kindness snapped his brain free from his heart, eyes slowly relaxing and mouth parting as he allowed her to pull him closer. He stumbled slightly as his nerves still left his legs shaky, yet he didn't scramble away. When she had succeeded him getting him close to the group he paused, looking down at the young girl and offering a nervous but grateful smile.
"T-Thank you." He stammered, squeezing her hand gently in appreciation.

From her bench, Amy heard someone mention introducing themselves. The Grimm smiled faintly, raising her free hand in greeting.
"I am Amy. This is Iah." She called, nudging Iah with her shoulder lightly. She resumed listening, not keen on talking too much. Besides, she could hear the curiosity thick in the air. Something interesting was about to happen, and Amy wasn't about to miss it! A smile remained on her lips as she continued to swish her tail, head cocking to the side when she heard shuffling here and there. For once, she really wished she could see. It wasn't often she ever found herself resenting her disability, but right now it would do to be able to, quickly, figure out what was happening that was causing everyone to be so anxious.

Kobe's happy and excited demeanor vanished as more nightmare showed up. He felt crowded, his brows pinched together as he nipped at his bottom lip. He wanted to leave, even if the other had answers. There were too many others in this area and he felt he couldn't breathe. He'd noticed Tobias but before he could get over to reassure him, someone else beat him to it. He quietly slinked behind everyone and moved to leave.
A drizzle had turned into a flood as more and more students crowded around. There were more faces than he could keep track of names and so many were Grimm!
Well there was only one thing to do. He quickly turned and swung up on top of the water feature. He didn't mind if he got soaked. He'd spent most of his life swimming. Nearly as much as his Nixie peers. He made sure he was properly braced and sure he wasn't about to loose his footing even with the mass of water bubbling out. He held up his hands for silence and smiled out at the student population.
"Hi, it's so great to see all of you! This is...this just...amazing! We never imagined at home that there were any Grimm outside of the Nixie controlled lands." he took a deep breath, hazel eyes making contact with as many as he could. "My name is Myles, this is my intended, Athena." he looked down and smiled at the girl in the fountain, his eye lighting up, then back at the gathering of students. "I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have about well...anything! But one at a time, please or else I'll forget what I answered." he laughed, his tail swishing behind him.
He noted Kobe slipping away and he was kind of sad about that, he wanted to hear more about their "pack" but maybe there would be opportunity later.
"So...who's first?" he asked brightly.
Please quote me with a question for Myles. They will be answered in order.

Well he definitely wasn't expecting this when he woke up today. He definitely wouldnt have been standing where he was if that was the case. However Iah made sure that he kept a solid hold on Amy’s hand as everything practically exploded in a flurry of activity. He would never forgive himself if he ended up letting go her hand as well and lost her to the.. well was it big enough to be considered a mob?. When she tugged them off he agreed that somewhere more quite was better. Large crowds it was only a matter of time until you lost the person you were traveling around. Of course where Amy ended up leading him still had people but it was a manageable crowd.
“Well apparently a bunch of grimm came to the school and they want to take some of the Grimm students back home with them. That explosion of activity was one of the adults didn’t seem to want to take no for an answer I think. It was a bit chaotic to get a good hold on things. Everyone is over here because some of the younger members of the group seem to have gathered around the fountain” Iah explained sitting down next to her on the bench. “ah yes, it’s a pleasure to meet you all. Like Amy said I’m Iah” manners where important after all. Seeing as this would be important for grimm's he was fine to stay quiet and be support for amy.
Neptune hovered on the sidelines, too nervous to approach the crowd right from the get-go, but he had been interested in what the elder grimm had said... Maybe he didn't want to leave...or maybe he did, but either way, nothing was going to happen right away. The grimm boy seemed very friendly, though... And the girl... what was she, a nixie? She seemed alright too.
After a little more agonizing about whether or not to leave his safe spot by the pillar, he decided to step out from its shadow to get a closer look. Rather than go right up to them, he still skirted around to a nearby hedge to hover by. Having something bigger than him helped calm the nerves, after all.
Oh, how nerve-wrecking... He didn't even have a pack to find comfort with like some of the other grimm on campus. For now he'd just sit and watch the others talk. He had too many questions floating around his head to even know where to begin asking them... except, maybe, "where have you been...?" He blinked in surprise, he hadn't meant to say that out loud.. The boy probably hadn't even heard him anyway, Neptune was always a rather quiet kid...

Crispin hadn't heard his brothers voice since he first hopped over to this side of the collum. As he took another jump step to keep himself active, he started talking to him. "Hey Kobe is this a friend of yours?" He'd heard the way Sara had talked to him, it made sense that they knew each other but it didn't hurt to confirm it.
He realized Melisara had said more glancing back covering a small laugh with his palm."I think Sara is easier to remember too! I like it. Oh, um yeah okay!" He agreed closing his mouth to let others speak. His eyes lit up as more grimms listening to the series of introductions occasionally offering a wave when it was appropriate.
The pale grimm added more to Kobe, quieter given he didn't want to be rude to anyone speaking. "Bro, I'm so excited you found Myles first! You're awesome. Maybe we can learn a thing or two together!" He started to say excitedly, until he realized his sibling wasn't there. Confusion registered on his face as his ears laid back slightly.
Rubbing the back of his neck, his attention turned to Myles momentarily distracted as he'd called for silence. All eyes were on the grimm in question it seemed. He wanted to go chase after his sibling, but he'd have to be the one to speak up it seemed. It made the young boy sad, but if he ran off now how could he find them answers for going forward? The dilemma made him uncomfortable. Cris took a little step forward. Swallowing a bit, his tail slowly wagged given how the other had so warmly addressed them.
A soft question had been asked before him, which he let them finish before he opened his maw. "What do you mean Nixxie lands? Does that mean there lotta others outside the schools then?" The freshling asked, eyes wide. Technically he'd asked two questions and for it looked momentarily sheepish. Peering up at the older grim as he made his way into the waters with Athena as he'd introduced. Was she a nixxie maybe? While they were strangers, it couldn't hurt to ask a few things.

Jacie popped in from behind the crowd, he'd been listening quietly. He walked up to Myles with a might angry face, "So, why now? Why come now and demand we grimms go with you? Why should I trust you!? You've never been there for any of us!" He growled out his questions, grumbling before moving back to sequoia.. Sticking close to her in case he needed to protect her. He had absolutely no trust for these outsiders.
