Light was not paying attention to what was being said anymore. His eyes stayed fixed on the acha's glistening scales. The blue acha stood there dumbfounded and was deep in thoughts.
Shiny scales... Shiny scales. .. "That's it! Royal Rainbow Troupe!" he shouted out loud, excited as ever. "I have seen you before!"
That's right. The grumpy acha was a friend of his son, Waterfall. "Say.. How did you and Waterfall meet... uhh.....?" His name. Light couldn't remember his name. "What was your name again?" he asked bluntly without fearing the buck anymore. "I'm Light. Waterfall's father."

The black acha was already in a fighting pose when he heard the old acha ramble on again. "R-Royal R-Rainbow Troupe?" he uttered. "AHEM!" this time he cleared his throat before responding. "Waterfall you say? That bright bluey acha with a splash of purple is your son?" he asked Light and moved closer to inspect him.
"My. My. What a surprise! He's doing well. Quite a performer too!" The acha bounced around wanting to tell him more about Waterfall but stopped. The one staring at him was Waterfall's father. Of course he would know how his own son is doing. "AHEM!" he went again. "Remember, is my name. Don't you forget." he said with a sarcastic tone of voice.

Light became confused. How can he remember Remember? There was just no way he could. "Remember... Do you have another name they call you by?"
It was actually uncomfortable to call him that. Remember could be used in so many sentences and he wouldn't even know if kin are talking about the act of remembering or actually talking about him... "How.. Hmm..." he went. "Scales? Ahh yes. This has a nice ring to it. Can I call you Scales? Please?" he asked the grumpy acha.

Again, Remember lowered his eyelids and ended up glaring at Light. "If you weren't Waterfall's father, I would have kicked you by now. Why don't you move along and do what you need to do? I rather go back to sleep than talk to you," he grumbled and flicked mud off of his tail. "As a friend of Waterfall's, be thankful I won't fight you. AHEM. Good day."
The grumpy acha walked back behind the worn down bush and crawled low to slip between the narrow pathway. He kicked his leg up a few times to get through and disappeared out of sight.

Light just watched the entire scene of the grumpy acha before his eyes without saying anything. Remember was right. He should do what he needed to day. So far all day he had done nothing but chat with other kin...
37. You trip, right yourself, and trip again. Not three steps later you trip once more. You would almost swear that there's some invisible creature winding around your legs. In fact--what was that?
Light inhaled deeply and let out a loud sigh. "Alright. I better move along," he said and tripped right after he took one step forward. Instinctively, he turned around to see who it was. But no one was there. He took another step forward and tripped again. "Who.. is there?" he asked, and looked around again. No one. "Okay..." he whispered and walked forward again. At the third step he ended up tripping and falling again. This made him nervous and he sprung sideways after he got back up on all fours.
The dry area of another path was layered with dead leaves. It seemed to be a bit sturdier to walk on. "Let's try walking down this path instead," he said out loud with a concerned voice.

13. You hear the sound of wings startled up when you enter this clearing, but there is no bird to be seen--only a strange shift in the light, as though a thin cloud had passed over the sun although the sky is clear.
He went down the path with the dead leaves. Chills ran down Light's back as he thought he heard birds fly off into the distance upon entering the clearing... but there were no birds within view... not a single one... He also thought he saw a shadow up ahead.
"Hello? Remember is that you?" he called out trying to see clearly, and marched forward.

Again he heard and saw the same thing... "What is going on here.........."
Gathering items seems to be quite tricky today. He felt like his mind was giving up on him.

21. You locate a perfectly round, enormous boulder. It is exactly what Never Idle needs--but you're going to need help to uproot and move it. Help required. Success!
Things seemed VERY strange in this clearing. At least the sound of flapping wings seemed to have gone away. .. The strange shift in lighting drew his attention toward something round and smooth.
Light squinted his eyes as he strained to see what the figure was doing up ahead in his path. Was it moving? It looked like a giant turtle. When he got closer he noticed that it was a enormous round boulder. Something that was actually needed by Never Idle. "At last. I found something!" he shouted out relieved and all. Now all he needed to do was push the thing to Idle's place.. He nudged it with his own body. It didn't budge. He would need help from another kin to push this boulder along. "Who is brave enough to be out here in this strange clearing at this time of day?"
Again he tried to push the boulder using all of his strength. It wobbled a little but stayed positioned in the same spot.

 Strolling through the swamp with nothing much on his mind, Eyes of the Night spotted an Acha appearing to have a wrestling match with a big rock. The rock was winning.
Curiosity got the better of him. "Hello," said Night. "What are you doing?"

Light turned around and stared at the newcomer that showed up into the clearing. Was that the shadow that he saw earlier? He wasn't sure anymore and just wanted to leave this eerie place.
The acha cleared his throat and smiled at the buck. "Oh hello. I am trying to get this boulder to move and perhaps roll its way back to Idle's place. The aged meti is working on another project of his. I want to see what he can do after gathering a few things for him."
He bounced against the boulder again. "This just won't budge."

"It would figure that Idle would have something to do with it," said Night. "I heard he was working on something new."
Night glanced over the rock and gave it a test push with his hoof. "I think the two of us could move it. I'd be happy to help you move it to Idle's place, if you like. I'm curious now to see what he's doing."

The acha had a big satisfied smile on his face. "At least you know of him. the one before you, this wasp acha, he had never heard of him!"
Light moved aside as the meti pushed at the boulder. "I'm curious now. Are you helping Idle gather things too? If you are I am sure that I could return this favour you are doing for me."
He again started to push the heavy thing. At least it was round and could be moved more easier with the strength of two. You would help me push it all the way?" he asked. "It may take some time but if we hurry we might finish before the others do. "

"Yes, I know of Idle. I've never really met him, but we do similar things like building projects."
Night moved to put his shoulder to the rock and helped the Acha push and roll it. "Sure, I'll help you roll it all the way. It will give me a chance to see what Idle is up to. And if he still needs help, I'll gladly lend a hand."
"And if he needs another rock, I'll take you up on that offer. I'm called Night, by the way. Don't think I bothered to introduce myself."

"Ooo I don't build things. I appreciate things in life though!" he replied back at Night.
Light knew nothing about building things. He only saw his hooves as something to use to run with.
"This is great! You may get to see a glimpse of him once you're there!" The acha started to push the boulder with all the strength he had saved up and it started to roll along smoothly as he meti put in some of his strength to get the thing moving. The clearing had nothing obstructive that blocked their way and eventually they made it there before night time.
He looked at Night. "Light in the Ocean. Light will do. I am not sure where my manners went. That clearing has made me hear and see things that aren't there..."

Looking around, Night hoped he might spot the old goat. "Guess I'll hang out here for a bit to see if Ilde comes back.
