Kuro strolled in through the small entrance to the lands padding through the luscious grass. He broke into a brisk trot along the stream heading back to the inner den and back to his mate who was slowly growing into view. He could see his brother and beta at the outskirts of the lake giving him a nod as he passed. He slowed to a stop alongside his lovely mate and gently nuzzled her small form. He kept silent enjoying the moment being by her side again.

Kuro loved the feeling of his mate nuzzling into him. "It was nothing to serious. I took care of it." He gave her a loving lick not wanting to go to far into the days events.

Stormy raced back to her pack lands as fast as her legs would take her and she arrived just as the sun was setting. She had been gone for two days and hoped that the good news she brought with her would be enough to get her out of and trouble she might be in for being gone so long. Stormy looked around the mouth of the cave and saw other members of her pack but not her alphas. So she walked deeper into the cave and soon she herd voices she recognized. Se came around a corner and found Bullet and Kuro talking to each other and waited for them to notice her before she spoke.

Kuro nodded giving Stormy a stern look. He couldn't let his pack keep wandering off but he knew she was capable of defending herself. He cared for everyone too much to watch then drift away as the others have. Sitting his large form beside his mate he looked over the females. Besides the safety of his pack there posed another issue right on their doorstep. That being the growing population of dogs and the decreasing of the elk. "I would much prefer to resort to a peaceful solution concerning these dogs that live along side us but it's come to a point where we must decide whether we'll be forced out of our home due to starvation or drive them out of this land. I also want to know, Stormy. Why were you gone for so long?"

Bullet's snout wrinkled and growled lowly at the mention of Ember. It was an automatic response and quickly muffled the sound. She choose to ignore the run-in with the other pack as she had returned safely. Looking to Kuro but decided to take control of this one. "Yes, I'll meet this new wolf," she said to Stormy, looking back to Kuro she said a little quieter "I'd rather this wolf join us than Ember at this point. They could also help with our dog problem.."

Kuro nodded in agreement with his mate. He'd thought on Embers words from their last meeting but decided it was best to put that aside. They couldn't be friends now that they'd split the packs. He knew that it was time to gain some new members and this dog problem was a growing issue. "We will meet him in the morning. We need all the members we can get."

Streak padded over from the lake and into the den past the two three and overheard their conversation. It was likely that He'd be staying here for the time being since there weren't many of them left now. He came to the stopped not to far away from the group and laid down to get some rest. After his nap he'd go hunting and find them a meal.

Stormy shifted her stance and wiggled around a bit being a little impatient was one of her flaws and something she was working on controlling better. She antsy to head out. She thought to herself " I wonder if I will bump into that wolf that attacked me in the lands in between, he sure looked handsome." Stormy quickly shook her head at her own thoughts and corrected her thoughts " I mean I want to ask him why he has such a hard time controlling himself, maybe I can help, it has nothing to do with the fact that he is handsome, although it doesn't hurt." Stormy smirked at that ending comment.
