Damn...
He should have known better, Wyeth thought as he fell under the barrage of hooves. He should have seen Sanuye back to the Summit, not hung around down here a minute longer than he had to. But if he hadn't been down here, he never would have been able to save that stallion. It was all worth it...it had to be.
But his mother was not going to be happy with him, he reflected as he crumpled to the ground.
