Wild Moon had finished going through his things and making them straight, setting his pack on his back. He glanced around, spotting someone he had seen at the tree and had heard mention of at least a couple times from the very loud purple haired faunie in the tree, so he decided he would go introduce himself. More friends never hurt... right?
Wandering over to her, he cleared his throat softly as she seemed to be lost in a book. "Excuse me..." he smiled, glancing down at the book she was reading. A book for climbing mountains... for children? She certainly didn't look like a child.... but she didn't look a climber either. Not that it was a bad thing, just surprised they had books for such endeavors. But that wasn't why he came over.
"Are you... Sweetie... Bell?" he paused, hoping he had gotten her name right. Or if this even was her. Sometimes, he wasn't sure who that purple haired faunie .... Rarity, did his mother say? ... was shouting for, but he had seen them together at least once.

Dameon smiled half-heartedly at his love, the most he could possibly muster. 'Winded' was a little kind of a word. After months at sea, his muscle had really broken down and it showed. He was working on rebuilding it, but it took time, and he had only been back for a short time. When the fae came with his stuff...aparently his out of breath was apparent. Youngers?! The gentle pae frowned and looked inside his sack. Childrens...Guide...He sighed deeply and took the drink. "Yeah, I can tell already I'm going to need it. Why'd you get the nice welcoming?" He took a long pull, seriously wondering why he had chosen a MOUNTAIN CLIMB in his state. The demonic glanced at his red haired love. Oh yeah...that's why. A smile, a warm one, slipped onto his face. A date for the two of them. Even if it was hard on him, it was worth it to spend some time with the beautiful demonic.
OOC: OMG, my roll was so fitting for poor Dame XDDD Sooooo funny.

It was purely on whim that the tie-dye female decided to show up, her skin starting to tighten with the kiss of cold. She was starting to get out more ever since her meeting with Criofan, and this seemed...fun...at the time. Still had potential, but she was rapidly losing interest. It was then that she was approached by the rather...cheery fae. "Oh, thanks." A bag? And spirits? Well...that certainly helped her fading excitement. Smiling now, she took a swig. Warmth instantly spread through her body and she pawed through her stuff. Nothing really...shiny however. Nothing that Criofan would take interest in anyway. But there was a songbook, and she was known to sing on occasion. And speaking of singing...that weird faun-look-a-like thing had a big musical note on his butt. An eyebrow raised as she started to move towards him. What was he anyway? She didn't really have any experience with faun, other than knowing they existed, but she had seen glimpses of them at the beach. And he didn't look like them. But never one to be shy, she stepped right up to him. "Hey! You got the same book as me." She pulled out her book, flashing a grin. "How boring. I wonder if other pae got different stuff."

Grumbling and holding back from the rest of the Pae, a dark demon stood back from the rest, bundled in multiple layers of warm finery, including a plush-lined stole, and a thick cashmere scarf. Normally, she would have chosen the island cruise to bask in the warm sun for a pleasant getaway. But...she assumed that many other Pae'il would have the same thought, and for her, the thought of being trapped on a ship (no matter how big) with any number of Pae'il for any length of time was intolerable. Maybe if there had been no other Pae allowed, then...paradise.
So, while it wasn't the best arrangement, she had figured that if she wore enough layers to protect herself from the despicable coldness, she could tolerate it for the sake of a solitary getaway, removed from others and in a nice, remote location, never explored by other Pae'il...
She was not happy to see all these others here. Suddenly, sacrificing warmth for solitude wasn't working out for her, and now she was going to be cold AND surrounded by raucous idiots.
Wonderful.
She glared down at the bag she'd been given when she'd arrived, as if it was the object's fault for all of this. She'd been offered a drink as well, but she'd turned up her nose and shoved the hairy little Solamir away with a muted, "...ew," at the time. Now, she looked around, catching the eye of one of the bearded Fairies and slipping one hand from beneath her warm layers of clothing to beckon. "You. Those drinks, I'll take one now."
When the bearded fairy guffawed and returned to shove the mug into her hand, she tipped it all the way back, letting the faux warmth fill her. She was going to need that.

Sweetie wasn't sure if she was going to be cut out for this hike up the mountain, but at least the book that had come in her pack was giving her some helpful hints! That was definitely a good thing. She blinked and looked up as someone spoke to her. "Huh? Oh! Yeah, that's me," she said and smiled, her cheeks coloring lightly when she noticed it was a boy speaking to her. He looked familiar, like she'd seen him in the tree somewhere, but she couldn't think of his name, or if she ever even knew it. "I'm sorry, but, uh, what's your name?" she asked.
Having looked through everything in her pack, including the 'Wussy Kit', Ruze shrugged the backpack on and started just wandering around. She figured she'd get a peek at who she'd be climbing with, maybe she could find a good partner. There seemed to be a lot of younger pae, teens who thought they could climb the mountain. She just hoped she didn't get shown up by one of these brats. She snorted quietly to herself and kept walking, coming across a fairly colorful angel pae with purple hair. He was kinda cute... "Hey, you think you'll be any good at this mountain climbing thing?" she asked him. Tizzy, her rainbow boa wild soul, curled around her shoulders and lifted her head to peek at the one her bonded was talking to.

Caléndula isn't really sure what had drawn her to the mountain expedition. Perhaps it's the prospect of physical exertion. She'd put on a few pounds over the summer just lounging, eating, and reading. Sandía certainly never let her forget it. Summer is for being outside! she'd constantly cry. It nettled at Caléndula, and of course she loves being outside, but the damp heat of summer made her feel like a wilting leaf. She longed for the crisp coolness of autumn.
As she reaches the base camp, a flask is pressed into her hand. "Thank you!" she exclaims gratefully, taking a drink. Immediately she begins to cough and splutter. "Wh-what is this?" she asks, wide-eyed, trying to ignore her Mellon's cackling. She receives no answer, only a backpack shoved into her chest. "Thank you!" she exclaims again. She opens it to examine its contents.
The usual supplies for an outdoor sort of thing, she finds. And, what's this? A songbook! Whatever would she need that for? She glances around and notices a merry singing group, led by a curious-looking Faerie with fascinating hair. Oh. Of course that's what it's for. She smiles and listens, but doesn't sing along. She's a terrible singer.

Definitely creating a bit of a sight as he climbed up onto the final ledge, the armored night guard grumbled to himself a bit about troublesome teenagers and how in his day, this never would have happened, because...
He was interrupted from his thoughts by a bearded little fairy with a high voice. Wait...was that a woman? "Oy! Don't really need armor for climbing, kid! You seem new at this! Here!" A bag was thrown at his head and he ducked, raising his hands to catch it before it bounced off his helmet instead. "Well, least your reflexes are good. Maybe you're not completely doomed, kid!" Said bearded lady strutted off through the air, leaving the perplexed Fauny glaring at her retreat. Then, he looked down at the bag. What in Equestria was this all about?
He'd noticed the other night that Princess Luna's son had been missing for a while. Setting out on his own search before the teenager's disappearance could be noticed by anyone else, he hoped to find the wayward child and get him home before he got into any trouble. He'd never expected to track the teenager halfway across the Isle in his search. By the moon, had the boy lost his mind? His mother would have both their hides at this rate.
Glancing into the bag he'd been handed, the night guard pulled out a book, scowled at the title, then dropped it back in the pack. "Funny," he grumbled, slitted eyes scanning the crowd for his quarry. Ah ha.
Slipping up behind Wild Moon and crossing his arms over his chest armor, the bat-winged Fauny scowled down at the teenager from beneath this helm. "You're a long way from home, little prince."
