Antonio waited until the clumsy nurse left them alone. She did not look like the brightest person in the room, but she was a nurse after all so all her credentials were there. He did get the vibe that the woman was a gossip so he could only wonder what her mouth might say regarding this situation to others. Once she was gone, he slowly approached his girlfriend who seemed to be crest fallen which made him a bit nervous. When she delivered the news, he wasn't sure how to react or if there was a proper way to react. Should he say 'we can try again' or should he be relieved and take precautions from now on? Neither of them seemed like a good option so he just decided to stay silent and watch Annie's reactions. He didn't expect her to suddenly voice such deep thoughts to him. He felt relieved after hearing her words because it finally showed her true feelings.

Sometimes it was hard to read Annie because she was so good at hiding her troubles from the world. Even him, a person she knew all her life, did not always have the right to peek into her inner thoughts. For once, Annie was honest with him and she admitted that she was scared and troubled. Antonio took a sit next to her, "You know, sometimes I feel like I'm still trying to figure myself out...I look back at the former me and I know that I am different, but at the same time some things just seemed to stick regardless of how many years pass." Antonio chuckled, "when I was young, I told myself I would not be a boring adult and that I would do big things." He sighed and wrapped an arm around Annie, "I'm not going to disappear Annie. I never did, I came back."

Once they were done having their "moment", Antonio heard Annie's chuckles and he joined her. He was definitely more lively than her at the moment, but she was probably still hurting. "Yep, my first time I was almost terrified, but in the end I still refused to use a rubber." He chuckled, "yeah the younger me was probably more honest, but he was certainly an idiot."

Annie smiled softly at Tony, still feeling terrible with stomach flu but trying to focus on him. "Aw..." She reached to him for a warm embrace, but one of her arms was stopped by the drip line. She sighed as she looked at it, and continued on with her free arm to wrap around him. "I dunno..." She said after a long while of staying in his arms. "I remember younger Tony having a few good ideas. And we didn't get caught for half of them!" She laughed a little, as much as her sore stomach would allow. "He had a hard time figuring out how to be a good kisser though," She smiled, her head resting on his chest while she thought back and teased him.

It wasn't that long after when Megan came back, the I.V. dried, and quickly disassembled everything to let them go. "I think I'm going to just take the day off to get over this flu. I'll let Kate know--nothing too important is scheduled for the next couple of weeks, so it shouldn't be a huge deal." She planned around herself, looking up at Tony without lifting her face from its comfortable spot. "You probably want to get out right? No fun being cooped up with a sick old lady!" She smiled again.

While she made plans to do nothing, the phone had rung in the infirmary. It was for Annie. "Miss! Miss Phoenix! There's someone in your office looking for you," She called to grab their attention. "They didn't say who, just that there was a woman who said it was important."

Annie blinked. "I wonder who...?" There weren't any guests or brokers she was expecting.

Marco was a little disappointed that he didn't get to spend any time battling Iris or any of his friends, but he was very distracted during Coordination class. His mind was on Niara wondering how her condition was. He wanted to see her as soon as possible which was why when class was over, he rushed over to the infirmary. He wanted to invite Iris with him so they could both go see her (he knew that Niara would be really happy if they were both there). Unfortunately, Iris disappeared and he didn't have time to find her. Marco went to the infirmary by himself while still wearing his suit from Coordination class. He only realized that he forgot to change when he was nearing the infirmary. He looked way to overdressed just for a visit, but it was already too late to go back to his dorm. He wanted to see Niara and make sure that she was healthy again. There were some mentioned cases of students having stomach problems and many even suspected it was the flu. The flu had struck several students including some teachers (Jones was probably in that list). Even his roommate, Vern, was attacked by the virus. Marco somehow managed to dodge the flu by taking an early flu shot when he returned to the academy.

When he finally reached the door to the infirmary, he lightly knocked on the door before going inside after no one answered him. He peeked inside and notice that the nurse was not present at the moment. He closed the door behind him and looked at the beds where the students who were sick would be resting. There were curtains that shield the resting students, but Marco could make out the shadow of a figure behind the curtain. "Niara?" he asked peeking inside the curtain.

Marco went to Niara's side to help her sit, but Mitus was already there helping his trainer. He smiled at the psychic pokemon who was always loyal to Niara. Her pokemon clearly loved her and he was happy to see that. Marco nodded towards Mitus as a greeting. He took a sit on the bed next to Niara. He put an arm around her and pulled her towards him so that she could rest against him. "I wanted to bring Iris with me..." he could hear the disappointment in her voice and he was a little sad seeing his girlfriend looking so down. He tried to cheer her up with a smiled.

"Don't worry, Niara. I'm sure that Iris will come to see you as soon as she can." He tried his best to ensure her and he believed in his words because he knew that Iris was Niara's best friend as well as her lover. They all liked each other and decided to be together. Their bond was strong and he believed in both of them. Iris would be coming.

“I'm not really a people person...”

Niara smiled a little as Marco reassured her. As he sat beside her, she gave him a bit of extra space to sit comfortably. As he pulled in against his body, she rested her head happily on his shoulder. It was always nice to be in this kind of position. Especially with the man that you love.. Thank you, Marco~ She stayed where she was, comfortable in Marco's hold and hearing his reassuring words that Iris would come. She really hoped she would appear. It just felt a little off without Iris.

After staying in Marco's hold for a few minutes, Niara heard something going on, followed by Iris's voice. Niara instantly perked up and watched the curtains to see her appear. Niara smiled brightly seeing the girl and when Iris was close enou, broke away from Marco to give Iris a big hug. I'm feeling a little better. Thank you for coming, Iris. I almost thought you weren't going to come by. She wasn't trying to sound like she needed the attention, but she was very appreciative of it and it showed her two best friends were concerned about her. Mitus was happier until he saw Angel. Oh how fun to see the Ralts with a complete infatuation with him. It was like she was hit with Attract but he never did anything besides be visible. And Loki saw Ra, hopping over and sniffing him really quick before getting into a position to pounce the Rufflet like a Meowth would to a Pidgey.

After class let out, Devin made the long walk over to the infirmary, checking in and finding Hana's bed. Lydia was there. He was a little surprised at first to find her there, and not out training. "How is she?" He asked with a low and sad tone. He looked over to see the tiny Japanese girl out cold, wrapped up like a mummy and attached to plastic lines and monitors. This really didn't help with his guilt complex. He stared down at her. What had he done...? "I can take over watch. When she wakes up, it might help if she sees someone she knows. I an train tomorrow. I'm feeling a little too tired from today..." His voice trailed off, but his eyes stayed focused on his friend laying still.
