Vox_Draconis Loona Wynd Vox_Draconis Mostly because these days due to a lack of space and a lack of privacy most of my spells are done in the bath tub smile Any ideas on how you might rework your spell? I've done two so far for mine. Still working on it. There are two more days left. I am going to have this week end and the next begin basically how they would normally be. Later on today the next theme will be posted. I gave a few extra days for the first week.

Vox_Draconis I'll have something done, don't worry, just a lot of crap going on RL that needs dealing with. To be honest I didn't really plan either of those two out. They just sort of came to me. I think I have an idea for a perfume but I need to check on a few things first.

Variant 1: Curse Breaking Bath
Items Needed
A handful of sea salt.
Vetivert essential oil blended in a small amount of carrier oil (5ml)
powdered bog oak
powdered dragon's blood
Blend the vetivert into the carrier oil. Mix the powdered bog oak and dragon's blood into the sea salt. when that's well mixed mix the oil into the salt mix, as you mix the the ingredients visualize the mix removing the longstanding hexes and curses place upon you.
When you are ready to take a bath, add the mixture to you bath water and then soak yourself in the water, visualize the water dissolving away the curse and/or hex. Repeat when required.

I was thinking of trying to keep with curses as the theme for the spell I choose, but I have an idea for one that isn't a curse type spell. I'm excited. I still need to name three of the tinctures and come up with my company logo. I'm calling it Mystic-Echoes. I have one protection tincture I am naming Dragon fire protection (main focus ingredient is Dragons Blood). I have a meditation/mental focus tincture, a healing tincture, and a money tincture.

Variant 2: Nightmare Banishing Bath
Items Needed
A handful of sea salt
Lavender Flowers
Chamomile Flowers
Black peppercorns
Rosemary needles/leaves
The idea behind this bath is to use black peppercorns and rosemary to exorcise the bad dreams from you while lavender and chamomile promotes peaceful sleep.
First thing you need to do is brew a 'tea' of black pepper and rosemary, you will need to make about a litre of it. Once it's brewed leave it to cool. You will use it later. Meanwhile you need to mix the lavender and chamomile flowers in with the sea salt.
When you are ready to take a bath you need to step into your bath tub and using the tea you prepared earlier pour it over your body, and hair making sure no patch of skin or hair is left dry. Visualise the tea purging your body of negative and nightmarish thoughts. Once you are done with the tea, run yourself a bath and add the flower salt. Once you are in the tub, lie back and relax visualizing the peaceful night's sleep you will have that night.

I really feel that this project does something. Most of the time people write spells when they need them. I feel that through this project I'll have created dozens of spells for various needs I can just look up and use whenever. I'm not flustered writing them here but when I come to do them in person I get a bit overwhelmed,

Vox_Draconis Well so far both of mine have involved banishing biggrin I actually like the second adaptation. Attacking the nightmare and replacing it with peace. I actually found some sleep spells in one of my e-books. Some of them were for nightmares, peaceful dreams, fighting insomnia, and one was to curse them to sleep like the dead. Honestly I could use a sleep through the night completely spell. Its getting closer!

Variant 3: Gossip Banishing Bath
Items Needed
A handful of sea salt
Cloves (not too many)
Mix the whole cloves into the salt and leave to sit until read for use.
When it's time to take your bath run the water and add the salt and clove mix to the water, as you add the mixture to the water say "Gossip be Gone" three times. lay back , relax and visualise the gossip about you ceasing.

Variant 4: Scarborough Faire (Purification) Bath
Items Needed
A handful of sea salt
Parsley
Rosemary
Sage
Thyme
(appologises to Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel for bastardizing their song)
As you run the water throw the salt into your bath. Now for each one of the herbs you have, sing the following lines as you cast them into the bath. Once for each herb, thus singing the tune four times. (The words are set to the tune Scarborough Faire) As you sing charge the herbs and your bath with purifying energy.
Take these herbs and brew up a tea.
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Within and without, purified you will be.
Weave your spell and your wish you shall find.
Once all the herbs are added, enjoy your purifying bath.
