Unaware she was headed straight at him Salt nearly smashed right into her. At the last second his rear legs tensed and sent him over her in a jump. He stopped on the other side of her and turned around to see if the thing had turned back. All seemed to be safe for the moment. Looking at her he wondered why she would run out this way knowing that thing could easily come back. Unsure what drove the female to the decision he shrugged it off.

"Well that was fun," he said with clear sarcasm. "I've only heard stories of those things, I began to thought they were legend and were never real." He looked away but glanced back at her before walking away, "I'm going to keep moving, is there an alpha I must speak with for permission to be on these lands? Or, is this unclaimed territory?" He had that arrogance accent like he didn't care either way.

Unclaimed territory was fine with him. Though he wasn't sure he wanted to fight for leader ship maybe they could make an agreement. "So a female out wanting to start her own pack huh? I've only heard of males going out in search of that" He shrugged his shoulders as his mind wandered to different things. "Have you heard of paradise?" he pawed at the dirt unsure if he should be inviting her on his quest. Two may be better than one though. Haily, a female he was after to be his mate scoffed at the thought and would speak to him after he spoke of it.

Salt huffed at himself as Klue looked at him in disgusted. She seemed to turn away unwilling to speak to him at this point and walked away. Though he had just met her he felt a sting of sadness.

It hurt to see her go because no one, not even his parents, wanted him around. "How am I going to build a pack if no one will stick with me?" he asked himself as he laid down in the dirt. Sadness and a sense of unworthiness feel over him.

Salt laid in the sun light thinking he should just begin to travel to paradise alone. He didn't need a pack to find it. He sat up and nodded in agreement with him self. With a deep breath he stood and readied himself for his trip.

Right as he was about to begin moving on his way his ear caught a sound causing his head to whip around toward it. His nose sniffed the air but he couldn't catch a scent. Sticking low to the ground he moved forward until he found a small broken stick. Sniffing it out he caught another wolf's scent.

Was someone fallowing us this whole time? Unsure what caused the other wolf to flee he decided he needed to ask why. He totted along the trail happily looking for the secret watcher.

As he closed into the side of the mountain he knew she had cornered herself. Though he wasn't the largest of males most females were afraid of him, thinking his lack of a tail was due to fighting instead of a strange bloodline. Females like pups, he thought to himself. Taking a minute he focused and remembered himself as a pup. The image fell over his form making only the false pup visible. He had to be really careful and not let her to close or she could bump him and break the image.

The small tailless pup bounced through the bushes and looked to her with a tilted head. Again he couldn't speak for his voice didn't change all it was was a fake image.

[[like an invisible puppetmaster, unseen but still there. touch the puppetmaster and then youll be able to see him]]

Rolling his eyes he thought of how she caught on so quickly. She must have been paying attention to them more than he thought. The puppy image crackled away like fire to a leaf.

With the pup gone he sat in its place. He was told this was unclaimed territory so he had no worry about her trying to say it's hers.

"My trickery isn't all that bad. Just simple." He shrugged his shoulders and gave a half smile.

Salt flinched at the question but was growing use to it. "My Bloodline had a lot of human tampering in it. My grandfather and great grandparents where lab projects who escaped when the altered things first attacked." He sat in a proud pose, glad of his family's history.

"What are you doing out here anyway? Being unclaimed territory it's dangerous for a female to travel on her own." He ignored the question on why he was fallowing her, he really didn't have an answer for her.
